This is very simple.
There is a clear instruction in Qoran. We should only follow GOD s words as authority
Qoran says "Ittabihu Ma Unzila Ilaikum Min Rabbikum,Wala TaTtabihu Min Dounihi Awliyaa..."
Follow what was sent down to you from your Lord, do no follow others.
What hadith other than Qoran do you want us to follow?
"Wa Uhiya Ilayya Hada Al Qoran(No Hadith mentioned here, did GOD forget to add hadith?) Liundhirakum Bihi(Single book/one book,Qoran only!) Waman Balagh..."
This Qoran(No Hadith!) has been inspired to me to warn you with it and the future generations that will follow...
No brother, Qoran and hadith are not the same!!! Qoran is GOD s words Hadith is men s words .
End of story. Clear and simple.
GOD bless.
Peace. -

Thank you so much. I just opened up the Quran and read the Aya very carefully and slowly and discovered for the first time that the word your feet is actually i.e accusative which means that it goes back to the verb wash and not to the very swipe
Thank you so much and may Allah bless you for this wonderful insightWash them feet bruhz

Shakir O you who believe! when you rise up to prayer, wash your faces and your hands as far as the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles
Muhammad Sarwar Believers, when you are about to pray, wash your face and your hands along with the elbows and wipe your head and your feet to the ankles.
Arberry O believers, when you stand up to pray wash your faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and your feet up to the ankles.
