Sometimes stupidity deserves not to be analyzed but simply called out.
If I see my brother grab a turd and lick it while recording himself, should I stand there and analyze his shortcomings and weigh out the pros and cons of eating turds with him?
No, I am gonna tell him off, if not slap him across the face.

Okay that example is a bit extreme but i somewhat understand but brother Obuor's research of Khamr is not like you know, the most stupidest thing?

        Peace Obour,

Would you kindly give your translation of 2219?

        Kha-Miim-Ra = cover/conceal/veil, becoming changed/altered from a
        former state/condition, mixed/mingled/incorporated/blended,
intoxication/wine/grapes, make-up, any intoxicating thing that

I don't know what is khamr so I can't give you a correct translation of 2219. Thats why I start this topic.
Please consider 3612 and this phrase
In some English translation that I looked we have
pressing wine or squeezing wine. For me it's not make sense. And in Persian translation we have means squeezing grape to make wine, it make sense to me but there is no grape (in arabic &#1576 in this verse.

Now either these translations are incorrect or as HP_TECH says I'm an idiot one and pressing wine is something normal that everyone do.

You did not begin this thread by claiming you didn't have a strong command of the english language, nor that you were seeking help in understanding something. You jumped straight into saying x isn't y because of z. That is why I took a stern and firm stance to your post.

Pressing wine doesn't mean that one is actually pressing wine! (which is actually oxymoronic and a bit idiomatic)
            It is just an expression!

"Pressing" is an establish verb for squeezing any kind of fruit into juice, so pressing wine inherently entails the usage of grapes.
People in this thread have not realized that the issue you are having is a result of you not being a native speaker. Pressing wine is an intuitive expression in the native language.

I am going to repeat myself.
As you yourself have found out by now, the expression pressing wine is a very commonly used expression in English and it does not contain the word grape in it, because it unnecessary. Wine comes from grapes. Finally it is a bit of an idiomatic expression.

The same way that the expression in English is bereft of the word grape, so it is in Arabic. Period.

Refrain from trying to make discoveries and read more English books and familiarize yourself thoroughly with the language you are analyzing before making ridiculous bold claims.

While i will admit that i am not english native speaker but i never heard "Pressing wine" is a idiomatic expression. If it is then what is the metaphor for "pressing wine"?

                Peace Obour,
"Pressing wine" you may assume is from grapes, but other fruits
can be used such as apples and pears, or a mixture, pressing
wine is just what it says. A point of the ayat is what Joseph
                saw in a dream.

I said it was bit idiomatic, meaning similar to an idiom. An idiom is not a metaphor.

It's seems that I can't tell you what is my point. Let's forget the translation and what is have meaning in English or not. Maybe someone with Arabic knowledge can help here and tell me it is okay to use verb for a liquid.
                    Peace

Yes, it is liquids what it is about, to press liquid out of something.

Hi all. Peace. You may squeeze solid, not liquid. By squeezing solid you may extract/expel liquid from it. Example By squeezing/pressing mastard seeds in expeller (machine) mastard oil is expelled/extracted.
