    Peace.

One of my hobby's is composing my own music, and I can help but laugh at these bad boy big timers who think they can make their own laws and not live by them themselves. These sectarians will tell you that music is haram, some say we can listen to it but we can't play or sing, some say we can sing and play music to praise Muhammad and raise him to a God like status, and some say that we should even walk into shopping malls with cotton stuffed in our ears. And when you read some of the things they write at the back of the Quran's about the 'etiquettes' of reciting the 'holy' Quran, they say we shouldn't recite it in a melodious way. Well. Let me ask these people what they think they are doing when they stretch out their words and put a tune to them say in their so-called call to prayer and when they lead the ritual prayers.

Well let me ask them a question.

Is that not singing, or do you want to call it talking with a tune?Huh?

What?, I didn't hear you say that, louder please.
Ah, so you admit to singing? Tut tut. So how about music?
Did I just hear you say we can listen to things with good lyrics?

Well then how is it if I believe in one God, and then just for the fun of it, I laugh and tell someone that my pet dog is my God, is someone who hears me say that doing something wrong by listening to me?, and am I doing anything wrong by saying that for a laugh, becuase God knows what I think and believe.

Freedom of speech is the key my friends.

Him upstairs tells us not to prohibit anything that he has not prohibited.

So theres nothing worng with listening to any kind of music with any kind of lyrics.

    Errr...

How about putting music to the Quran? Is it satanic to do this?

Ho well, its already been done. I've digitally composed my own piano / drum piece and put the recitation of a well known arab with it (becuase i don't have my own super quiet recording studio to sing it myself). Anybody who wants to listen can e-mail me, and i'll be more than happy to provide the mp3.

Any hadith holders out there who are offended are welcome to come and argue, then we'll see who's volume gets turned down... twisted

    Peace.
    Natu on the line.

(By the way i don't intend to go out looking for trouble, I just think its one of the ways we can expose the lies these sectarian robots spread. Peace to you all anyway lol).

      Salaam,

If we wish to proclaim the message to the world, why not make songs with Quran in them and explain or promote ideas through music.

      Has it been done before?

Have you heard Pink- God is a DJ? He's also the best Lyricist ever! Read His BOOKS and you decide, they stand the test of time!

            Salaam all,

Boogie Woogie, Rag time, Jazz, B-bop, Blues, R&B, Pop and now RAP

All forms of the Black Talking Drums, something we brought with us from West Africa along with our primitive ISLAM. One Comrade said He does not Overstand RAP, well of course not, your not Black American, therefore you can not Overstand the Modern talking Drums....

Hip-Hop is the international ---Zionist inspired copycat of the Black Talking Drum, Hip-hop is the evil flip side of the Once powerful MC lead RAP talking Drum, now all we have is the Beating of a Sinful Drum, no more messages of Salvation via ISLAM(check the history Islam was the Diin for early Rap like it was for the Jazz men and the Last Poets) all that is left is Fuc* dat Whore, Get that Money, Kill yo Brother!

Their best way of silancing the Talking Drum was to take it over!

SO no you as a non Black American between the ages of 9-39 will not understand the Modern Talking Drums of Rap, and as more Mujahid's find this tool(i know many ISLAMIC MC's here in Georgia) we will once again beating out the Message best suited for Change in the Black Community as well as the world through ISLAM... taught by God/Allah Alone-Quraan Alone Mujahidiins

There are many rappers that talk about freedom and peace! There is good rap and bad rap. To put rap and leave it out would be losing a very large audience with a lot of potential. The youth are the future.

              For example

Rakim is rapper with deep insights about the world and interesting messages.
Tupac although very violent with the THUG LIFE scenario talks about interesting issues and also gets positive messages across in many songs.

I can understand the ways in which rap is bad but music is powerful and there are many individuals with interesting messages and some progressive in the rap scene. Mos-def is an orthodox muslim rapper, he has good messages.

                  Peace,

Eminem is hip hop, he is a hip hop icon! Some people look at hip hop like it's a black thing just like some people look at Islam as an eastern thing. These barriers and misconceptions must be broken.

This world needs rappers like eminem!

Be, be, 'fore we came to this country
We were kings and queens, never porch monkeys

To learn from black teachers who taught Greeks and Romans
Asian Arabs and gave them gold when
Gold was converted to money it all changed
Money then became empowerment for Europeans
                      The Persian military invaded
They learned about the gold, the teachings and everything sacred
                      Africa was almost robbed naked
Slavery was money, so they began making slave ships
Egypt was the place that Alexander the Great went
He was so shocked at the mountains with black faces
Shot up they nose to impose what basically
Still goes on today, you see?

Lets not think quran as a holy book that needs to be protected. Its the message which is more important. so I think rap song giving such message would be cool..

Just checked out your music. Very nice bro. I loves me some electronic. I haven't jammed in a while as life has been getting the best of me lately, but it's something I look forward to getting back to.

I have some old stuff hosted at IUMA but they've really choked their banwidth. Do you know anyone who hosts music for free?

Will you please modify the width of your graphics because it is destroying the column lengths of the tables.

                                      Thanks.

                                          Peace Muhammad,

Thanks for the interest. I haven't gotten around to pulling my mp3's off of my other hard drive. Hopefully, I'll get to it soon and send you a track or 2.

                                          Peace,
                                          Tay
