In this case the text is the Qu'an and it is just unfathomable how this has passed the "test" of so many translators, and I guess that behind the translations are the erudites or scholars.
For me it is about hte most shocking mishandlings of the Qur'an particularly since so many translations are the same on this. You mean that translators or "scholars" have made halal. Are they God?
The thing is that there are still too manu muslims still living in the mesta masturbation of there being for them (the males) all kinds of special allowances and privileges as if the mental conception of them just saved them.
