    Salam Mazhar,

Thank you for commenting/reply, but your language is so academic difficult for me to grasp. Can u put it in a lay man's language.

Like how what does "Yusalun" mean here. You say like we directed to commend him. Do you mean praise him? And you said we are required to submit salutation. How can we do salutation to a dead person.

Please make things clear in a lay man language so I may understand you

    God bless you

It is some thing common that we commend living and non-living heroes. We salute graves of martyrs; a gesture of commendation. We acknowledge and appreciate great work done by commending the person.

                Salam,

Please re-read all what I have said explaining the Arabic words.

                Salam Mazhar,

                I quote wote you previously
                "
This verb stems from Root . Basic perception infolded in the Root is to praise, magnify, pay homage; expressing commendation or wishing blessings upon the one who is revered or appreciated.
Thus the Verb signifies rendering an entity worthy of the meanings of verbal noun and Root."

                Entity here = Mohammed
Verb from the root S-L-W basic perception is to praise/magnify/commendation

So what it means Allah Praise/commend/magnify the prophet.

Maybe I just got it wrong from your quote

                God bless you

God can do whatever He wants and say whatever he wants to whomever he wants.

?Why should not God, who knows btter than anybody else praise something He considers good, and with whom He is pleased? Anybody can do whatever he wants and God can't?

If the nuts who is th ecause of this op does not know Arabic and he is digging to see where he can hook something to be ever so shocked about, well we should not follow his example.

                  Salaam

                      Centi 50 ...
3356 doesn't say Allah prays... Salat or Salam is not meant for dead humans by a living human... If anyone says so then it's upto him or her.. Salat and Salam May have many meanings in current Day Arabic and in quran...
Most appropriate meaning for 3356 is Bless...what we mean when we say to someone " God bless you" ... We can't in fact make anyone bless.. We are weak.. We approach to God to bless ...but Salam (Greeting with peace) is different.. It's direct to person to person verbally.. In the case of Salat it can be verbally or mentally or may be a supplication directly or indirectly... What in the end a Salat of blessing is a kind of encouragement and support ..
To understand this tangibly take the verse

3343 "It is He who blesses you, and His angels, to bring you forth from the shadows into the light. He is All-compassionate to the believers."

This verse is not for the prophet but common for all believers... God bless us and NOT PRAY.. The outcome is to take us from darkness to light... So blessing is one part of Raheem.. If one is blessed by God he has got the minute part of His Mercy (raheem)...
God said the verse 3356 while the prophet was alive.. And God blessed him while he was among his people and asked the people who were among with him to bless and greet him that's a good moral boost, support and encouragement for the prophet...
It's not now for us to say salat or Salam to Prophet.... Do this for your loved ones and believers who are alive.. Approach quran with the intention of guidance and you will not need others to answer you...

                        Peace,

The god does the same for those who believe. Him and his malaika youssallo 3ala allathina aamanou.

                        FM translation 3341-43

O you who believe, you shall remember God frequently.
And glorify Him morning and evening.
He is the One who communes towards you, along with His angels, to bring you out of darkness and into the light. And He is ever Merciful towards the believers.
