Animal and insect in the Quran

SLM to all,
I noticed that there are some examples of animals and insects in the Quran.
I wondered how we should figure this out or learn from this
like the ants in 2718
Until, when they came to (the) valley (of) the ants, said an ant, "O ants! Enter your dwellings lest not crush you Sulaiman and his hosts while they (do) not perceive."is it real ant who is talking or ( i read it somewhere) the people of the ant ( you know giving animal/insect name to an tribe) who is talking??

Speak, communicate, is not necessarily by speech. The Qur'an speaks about God speaking, about 3isaa speaking in the cradle. Obviously God may speak since He says so in the Qur'an, but that does not mean that he does it like humans do it. We might not say that animals or babies speak, but on the other hand they make themselves understood to us. Dogs speak with their tails. Expression, even mere appearance may communicate to us what we might want to know or could know, and God, makes Himself understood to us, depending on our capacity to perceive, but we will not have in front of us a mouth making speech.
Undoubtedly at leas many animals can communicate witht their species all right. That may be expressed as "speaking". We have enough grasp of thigns to realise that they are not being a genius in phonetics, but that they do have a way of letting know what they want to be known.

@huruf, i gave the ant as an example not about their capability but i wondered why are they used as example in the Quran .. like flying birds
Do they not see the birds held in the midst of the sky None upholds them but Allah. Verily, in this are clear Ayat for people who believe.2479
or hoopoe ( its having an conversation with the prophet) , like this there are mentioned some of animals and insect ...

We, nowadays, know a lot about many animals, but, obviously we do not know everything, and probably will never know everything.
On the other hand, there are many things in which people or some people were very skilled int he past and much of it may have been lost. With animal particularly. Animals all over the world have been used for many purposes. If the bird in the Sulyman apisode were a dove we would have no problem with making it messenger dove. Whcih nowadays are still used for the same purposes, and lso as a "sport" or however it may be classified.
I have the feeling that Sulayman and Dawood, particularly Sulayman was very highly gifted for that, and probably his environment was also much more conducive to that kind of skills that what we live in today.
Whether the story being told has some symbolic meaning, can never be excluded, but taken as is, it may point to us some of the many things we might know but we do not, and make known to us also the abilities of animals that we do not imagine. The hoopoe goes as a rather unintelligent animal, but how much do we know?
This narration is nice in the sense that it makes us to ask ourselves questions, rather than come up with ready-made answers and that is very good. It is the first step to open up and think, hopefully, without prejudice.
What clearly comes out of it is that animals communicate and that if we get the skills we may understand a lot. We do know that with dogs, which today are the animal most close to us and weknow how much they enjoy learning and becoming capable of things we want to train them for. They feel pride in their echievements, something that we might think was only human, and enjoy the compliments for it, which that really yes is very human.

i get what your mean, i also thought like birds who went in the air, and if you ask how its possible , and the answers are in the bird itself . like hollow bones thats make among other them to capable to fly .... or honey structure , and how benefit the human body are some examples ...
thats why Allah says to us to find and learn from itbut my curiosity was more, why these animals and insects ( like mosquito in 226) are mentioned .. do we need especially study these ...? cause Allah didn't put his words in purposeless, every and each letter has his purpose....
