Pork is HALAL
-
Salamun alaika, Sorry brother I did not see earlier you tagged me.
Pig is a family, included in mammals. Long time an Arab lady used to be admn. We discussed. Similar was the position that involved insulin made of pig matter. I recall that I advised not to probe halal haram issue further; and just consider that specifically meat (flesh is not necessarily meat) is prohibited at all the four places describing dietary protocol.
لَحْمٙا; meat from Root ل ح م. Ibn Faris stated it leads to the perception of intergraded, interference, overlap, engage, like the flesh/meat that obvolute, imbricate, overlap some of it in some. Lane's Lexicon "He closed up the hole thereof with a patch; meaning a garment, or piece of cloth, and a skin, or hide. It coalesced, consolidated, closed up, or became closely united." Meat is an eatable, be it of mammals, fish or birds
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُـمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ
He the Exalted has forbidden upon you people specifically the dead corpse-mammal who has died a natural death, and the blood, and the meat of swine - pig —
Muscles were turned into meat which appears an eatable. Live meat has a neutral pH of around 7m; the final pH of raw meat (dead) is around 5.5 which is more acidic than live muscle. The meat we consume is mostly made up of animal muscles that have gone through a conversion process that begins when slaughtered. Thus Muscle is not meat.
Thank you so much brother.. No need feel sorry..
What you provided with, seems not sufficient for my expansive research unfortunately ...
Meanwhile why you say those died naturally while God has not used such a specific word. If you have hunting dogs and foxes or vultures etc if they catch for you any animal and if they happened to die coz of hunting animals attack or bite, I am sure it is forbidden... Even if you hunt shooting using any weapon be it bow and arrow or pistol if the animal dies before slaughtering I don't think and quite obvious they are forbidden.. You have to slaughter unless seafood... Do you agree according to Quran in your understanding..?
It doesn't necessarily be dead naturally to call maithatha/dead.. Anything dead naturally or unnatural they are dead animals... Aren't they? But slaughter is different and once slaughtered they are not dead but slaughtered.. Yes literally dead but huge difference..
Thank you..
Note flesh even in English has meaning for other than meat of animal.. But.. God's forbidden foods all concerned with animal except probably fourth item which could be even crops etc and definitely animals as well..

I found this interesting meaning in Lane...
If one takes it as diseased flesh or rotten or stinking flesh why it could be wrong according to wording? But why it could be wrong taking it flesh of swine is well? But what in fact God commanded? Needs to explore...

God is so specific and amazing in His book and never can go wrong unless we get it wrong..
In 6145 simply mentioned Laham Khinzeer.. No AL/The added to Khinzeer.. In rest of the verses He added AL..
And 6145 is the only place where God additionally explains about Laham khinzeer and He explains it is Rijsz/impure.. You don't find this clause in other verses..So why to take it noun only while it can be taken as
"Flesh of diseased /rotton animals which is impure"If God said in other verses like this
"Flesh of THE diseased / rotton animals which is impure " I don't think it is right. No need to make it definite while saying it is impure..
But God makes it define while saying without the clause "which is impure"Forbidden for you 'Flesh of THE diseased animal' ... correct..
So anyone who realized that the flesh is from THE diseased / rotton animal then avoid.. It has to be definite..
It is not an issue of adjective here..
Now replace all what I said of Diseased / rotton (words) with Pork or THE pork and see which one would make more sense to you in your understanding ?
Thanks

16115 Wa Ad-Dama Wa Laĥma Al-KhinzīriAbove refers to swine blood, not the blood of any animal, as there is always blood present in all meats. Above prohibits the blood in pig meat and all swine products, as the blood cells are permeated in the skin, bones, and every organ.
To clarify for others perusing this site who are unfamiliar — In Arabic when a noun is definite (has "al-" prefix or determined by context), the accompanying adjective must also be definite. This means that if the noun is definite, the adjective must be definite as well.
Hence it is incorrect to say "flesh the rotten" as it violates the Arabic rule that requires the adjective to be definite when the noun is definite.

Let it be tender or fresh meat in your understanding ... God meant meat and it doesn't mean you are forbidden from eating other than meat /laham from sea.. By the way all seafood is not tender but ofcourse fresh when you hunt... All land meat are not hard either.. Most of them are tender.. So tender is pretty weak for me for word thareeb .. Fresh makes sense so that you won't choose rotton /diseased.
Yes God's verses are clear for sure... Even directives or any other verses.. But let that be clear to reader and it won't become clear unless perceive them in right way... We don't read a book with a living modern language but aged all language from ancient book .
Now most and perhaps you also say Laham khinzeer or flesh/meat of swines are forbidden and rest of its body parts other than flesh is halal... Isn't it? That's what most say... But according seafood, Allah has said the same thing fresh / thareeb meat / laham (from sea)... It doesn't mean other bodily parts of fish or any of other living being of sea or rivers are forbidden... That's why reflect... God said meat of an animal or fish whatever coz that's what most people eat from an animal or fish. Yes they do eat other parts but meat is what they eat in general.. You don't like to buy for the price of meat just some pieces of Inedible bones.. Lol...
So... Here 'diseased / rotton meat' perfectly befits coz meat is what people with utmost priority would prefer to eat... If in the first place diseased / rotton meat is forbidden of an animal then why to look for bones and heads and livers etc of a diseased/rotton animal.. Have no sense? That's why God said FRESH meat from sea.. Yes. Even diseased / rotton meat can also reach you from sea also.. ..
So this command, I mean the third Item which is forbidden by Allah is regardless it is land animals or birds or sea food but if diseased /rotton meat then forbidden.. That makes sense.. So impulsively rotton animals' other body parts other than meat is forbidden.. Coz animal itself diseased or decayed..Don't decide laham is definite noun while it is not.. Khinzeer for you is a noun but not for me in the verse.. Yes.. Khunazir is noun in the verse 560 and it is swines.. Yes.. Khinzeer is swine pig also but not in the forbidden list of verses.. So if considered diseased it is adjective or even it can be taken fully as 'diseased/rotton animal' so it can be taken as noun as well.. No violations of grammar of Arabic..
It is very clear.. God has used Laham without Al/The and its adjective Khinzeer with Al/the ..agree? Here laham is not at all definite noun. So obvious..
Similarly in verse 6145 God has used Laham without Al/The and laham is an indefinite noun and khinzeer is also used without AL /the...
Any issue?

There are only two ways of making indefinite noun as definite.
-
By prefixing definite article;
-
By أَلإضَافَةُ It primarily represents the association of one Noun with another Noun, in true sense and is called true construct (أَلإضَافَةُ ٱلْحَقِيقِيَّةُ). It literally means annexation, addition, or attachment; two nouns (pronouns, relative pronouns, and demonstrative pronouns are nouns in Arabic), one belonging or having association to the other.
لَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ Accusative object of verb Twice
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُـمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِلَحْمُ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ Subject noun of Passive verb
It is Adjectival Phrase
أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنزِيرٛ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ It is Possessive Phrase.
Here in indefinite construction they are the Predicate of deficient verb.
لَحْمٙا طَرِيّٙا Adjectival Phrase.
لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ Consecutive two possessive phrases.

In my understanding after reflecting thoroughly, I deduced and believe that God has not forbidden any food except physically and spiritually impure foods...Dead animals be it land or sea.. Consuming it as food indeed horrendous and no civilised society would recommend it... And it is against naturally inbuilt sense of human too..
Again second forbidden item is connected with animals in which definitely blood is part of it.. But consuming blood as separate food is even disgusting.. I have seen nomads even in arabia they make a slit near the eyebrow of camels and take pouring blood and mix with camel milk and drink... So desperate those people but God knows evilness in it.. After all it is not a food at all like dead animals.. No civilised society would do that.. Against civilised human nature..
Third one, most concerned one which I used to thought meat of swine but it is not.. Here also God has not forbidden any food literally but which is harmful to human consumption which is Diseased / Rotton meats (of animals be they land or sea) ... No civilised people would go for it.. Against human inbuilt nature..
And the fourth one is in fact pure food but spiritually they are evil since it is dedicated to god's other then The one who created everything... Nothing is wrong in the food but in God's eye it is wrong basically coz food is meant for evil deities.. You won't find such sacrifices of food normally everyday nowadays unless special occasions.. Civilised society would of course eat and not agaisnt human nature as well.. But here literally only believers of true nature would avoid them coz it is a law.. All previous three foods are common to all.
So. God has literally not forbidden anything which one wants to eat on this earth and sea.. Indeed what God has forbidden is what a civilised person of modern world would disgust from eating which is dead, blood and diseased rotton meat... So in my understanding all animals land and sea are made allowed.. Literally everything but choose what you prefer to eat.. But not physically and spiritually evil foods..
Thank you...

Well.. We are not common people brother.. All common people and the audience of Quran passed away... They would have definitely understood all muhkamat verses... Coz it is their language and living language... For muthashaabihat verses they also should work hard to comprehend..
But we are not common people. Even muhkamat verses we have to explore coz language and time has elapsed beyond recognition in certain way... Dictionaries formed later to Quran.. So obviously better seek guidance from God directly .. But with the book of course.. Yes I do agree many a verses of Quran are still manifest and directly understandable... But unfortunately many basic meanings of many verses needs lot of application of thought process since they are totally dumped to Earth...
Thank you..

Well.. Imperatives and prohibition may not have metaphors in Quran either.. But it will be even worse than metaphors if taken erroneously... You know that and everyone knows that... Words can be manipulated according to what they want.. Can't they? It doesn't need to be metaphors so they take obviously what they prefer though metaphors alao only one God's meaning...
For example.. Rule for thieves.. Sever physical hands or something else? Is there metaphors in the verse? No... Of course the common people that you were referring earlier would have understood the verse crystal clearly be he intelligent or illiterate... But we are different not part of that community where quran was revealed.. So... Verses where metaphors not even involved they change the essence of the verse... For us every verse should be perceived well.. Grammar and arabic is not what we have to learn from Quran.. But we have to seek guidance to choose right path. ..A word has many meanings and when a revelation is revealed in their language in anceint time they don't go wrong coz it is living language... It is a book now and we are different and if we seek guidance from it, it is like coded language.. Just abstract the truth from it.. That's my take...

Do these two verses 3512 and 1614 mean we can only eat LAHAM / MEAT portion of seafood and rest of its body parts is forbidden? No.. Right.. Any doubt?
So when it comes to four forbidden foods why Laham Khinzeer becomes only MEAT of SWINE... so we can eat other body parts of swine.. Same logic of verse 1614 and 3512
It is not the law for punishment like it was done to Jews of ancient times.. But it is a blessed profound law and permission and simple. So reflect...
So if you go for the option of meat of swine for laham khinzeer, then lots of questions will be raised .. But if one takes diseased / rotton meat for laham khinzeer no questions at all. Coz 3512 1614 fresh meat and here diseased/rotton meat..
So if fresh meat (laham thariyan) of an animal is permitted then all of its body parts are allowed naturally. .but if diseased/rotton meat of any animal is forbidden then naturally all of its body parts are forbidden.. Just so obvious.
Simply the animal itself is permitted if it is fresh and good...
And animal itself forbidden if it is diseased / rotton..
Is that an issue to understand? One thing I have to clarify. Then one would ponder why then Allah not stated diseased animal ie forbidden instead of diseased meat, so no confusion..? Good question. .
But diseased animal won't remain diseased forever. Who knows it become well and free of all diseases or it may die... So if dies rule is clear. Forbidden.. If it becomes well and healthy then rule is clear.. Allowed.
So Allah avoided statung diseased animal is forbidden to ensure that people would take it forever forbidden... God correctly stated diseased meat.. You may sell meat so avoid selling diseased.. You may have your own animals so don't slaughter if it is diseased.
Thank you... It is hard to reflect verses of God while already taken a decision... You have to empty the cup before filling it up like anceint said.. . That really works.. If not empty just reduce at least. If in confusion of any verse of Quran.. Just relieve, relax, empty all your preconceived thoughts and start afresh.. Just open the room for you to enter and don't keep it closed and you will never enter..
Thank you -
A word may have many senses duly described in dictionary. In text, a word has only one meaning. If it can be taken in different senses by some, the sentence is termed vague.
That's what I always say if you have noticed in my past threads.. . One word in one verse in one place has only one meaning even it has many meaning in general.. For example one word may appear two times in one verse and it can be taken two different meaning but in one place only one meaning.. That's my strong belief..
Anyway.. That's why I didn't even agree with you regarding Fabayyi alaai Rabbikuma Thukazziban clause.. Let it be one meaning coz it has no difference ...it looks vague for sure.. If taken different meaning..anyway that's different story.

Out of seven types of meaning, one is termed contextual meaning. In Sura 57, we can take meanings in the context in which it is repeated.
