Thinking and emotions (consciousness) are Energy, it is vibrations. .. everything is Energy, be it Lust or Love... positive thinking/emotions or negative thinking/emotions.
so what is the merit of your question?

HABU = lovely FRIEND
MUHABBAT= LOVE/AFFECTION
HABB= dear TO someone
HUBB= dearer/ belovedand even in urdu (hub-ul-watan) lover of homeland we cant say approval of homeland... hmm
although LIKED is somewhat similar in meanings only in few places if we take it as "preffered one" preffered due to love for a person..
i preffered XYZ over XYZ ( due to the emotion of likeness) that turn in to muhabbat(affection).
