Are we allowed to explain or translate alquran

Salam,
Are we allowed to explain to a third party or translate alquran for the simple reason that understanding or translating is not free from error.
As a result, it can be misleading.
Alquran is clear, it is up to everyone to make the effort to study it and rely solely on God to understand it.
Otherwise why take the place of God to explain his word?
Are we associates of God to fulfill this role?
It is a book whose verses are clear and detailed.
144 And We have not sent any messenger except in the language of his people, so he may clarify for them. But God misguides whom He wills, and He guides whom He wills. And He is the Noble, the Wise.
Did the prophet only convey the revealed message or explain it in his own words to his people at the time?
God only knows if the understanding of each of us of the message is correct.

Alquran translated is not alquran, it is an interpretation.Previous generations wanted to spread the message explained by other sources. Everyone brings their personal touch. divisions continue to this day.
This outer division reflects our inner division. We are not one with the Whole to access true knowledge.
To realize the oneness of god, one must die at his inner division.

It is actually encouraged to study and spread the knowledge of The Book continuously
It is not conceivable that a human being unto whom God had granted revelation, and sound judgment, and prophethood, should thereafter have said unto people, "Worship me beside God"; but rather , "Become men of God by spreading the knowledge of the divine writ, and by your own deep study ."
Learning from others is OK as long as we don't follow blindly and verify it
And for those who avoid serving evil, and turn to God in repentance, for them are glad tidings. So give the good news to My servants.
The ones who listen to what is being said, and then follow the best of it. These are the ones whom God has guided, and these are the ones who possess intelligence.And do not uphold what you have no knowledge of; for the hearing, and eyesight, and mind—all these you are responsible for.

Is this not the case of any other book we read? Do we ask others to explain it to us?
Let us say one goes to a library and picks up any book, what explanation from others do they require? Either they can read and start to do so or don t end up there in the first place.
Or do they bring an explainer with them?The case of Qoran should be no different. If one is interested, they pick up a copy -Anywhere, any language(yes even other translations from Arabic)- and read through.
Like you said the rest is whatever journey they decide to take with it or whatever journey Qoran will take them through it.But you are right ,Qoran is unlike any other book. It is a living book from an everliving Author working along the ages as if it was just written now, continuing to "pull""and "push" people according to their deep conviction and sincerity of the curosity with it.
That is why only the ever living can explain it to "Al Mutaharoon".(Sincere).GOD bless you.

7518 Thus, when We read it, you shall follow such a Qur’an.
7519 Then it is for Us to explain it.How did the prophet Mohammad taught the book to his people ?
320 If they debate with you, then say “I have submitted myself to God, as well as those who follow me.” And say to those who have received the Book and the gentiles “Have you submitted?” If they have submitted then they are guided, and if they turn away, then you are only to deliver, and God is Seer over the servants.
5677 It is an honorable Qur’an.
5678 In a protected Book.
5679 None can grasp it, except those purified.Peace

Before teaching the Koran, one must have a clear universal understanding about the fixed verses (salat, zakat, siyam, haj...etc). This is not currently the case due to the multitude of understandings and practices.
37 He is the One who sent down to you the Book, from which there are fixed verses—they are the Mother of the Book—and others which are comparable. As for those who have a disease in their hearts, they follow that of it which is comparable, seeking to confuse, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none know its interpretation except God, and those who are well founded in knowledge; they say “We believe in it, all is from our Lord.” And none will remember except those who possess intelligence.
