    salam everyone
if a person believes in The God strongly, and has tried their best to obey The God and strive in his worship of The God...but has commited same zina 3 times in very close time whilst they knew it was a sin.. you think The God forgives?

Don't believe, but seek it, then you will no longer believe but know.
    https//www.azquotes.com/picture-quotes/quote-i-don-t-believe-there-is-a-god-i-know-there-is-a-god-carl-jung-134-34-77.jpg

The one who will do judgement, is you towards yourselves. That's why the same standard that you judged upon others will be applied upon you. Thus do not judge and always forgives everyone including yourselves and forgives everything.

the same person has been recently diagnosed with a condition which is not the end of the world but somewhat incapacitating in life .. condition is acquired because of mistakes he has done.. you think a punishment from The God?

No it is not a "punishment from God", it's a part of the lesson for the soul inside the person's body which temporarily assuming to be the person. Every personality's ultimate fate is the end of it's world, it's ego/identity and all of it's personas all will meet it's end.

any thoughts? the person is losing their passion in their faith and saying The God hates them etc (and im getting confused and drawn into their arguments)

Actually, the one that hates the person is the person itself.
Advice him/her on the path of forgiveness, forgive everyone and every thing and most importantly forgive him/herself.

Hates might be a catalyst for the soul of the person to wish the opposite, love.
And when the soul wish it, a path will be laid out for the soul to learn about it.

      salam jafar

thank you for your reply and wise words

the condition is incapacitating in the long term so the issue is we cant see The God’s mercy in this situation

he knows there is The God (and i do too) there is no doubt about that

the issue is The God’s mercy that we cannot understand in this situation. it is soo bothering that even myself i cannot focus on my faith and i dont feel like praying as usual anymore ...

you say not a punishment... so you think perhaps a test? eventhough its a condition that potentially gets worse with time?

you say “and most importantly forgive him/herself.” ... i really like these words and i think it is very important indeed to forgive oneself

      thank u

      peace

Yes it's not a punishment but a lesson to learn.

Physically, every human bodies will eventually get worse as time progress.
It's a well designed and engineered process called "aging".
        It's actually a blessing..

When you look at yourself in the mirror and think that the imagery that you saw in the mirror as "you", then I will say be prepared for a lot of suffering, as that imagery in the mirror will get "worse" as time progresses. wrinkles, gray hair and weak...

Thus the more important aspect is actually the person condition inside.
When the person grow more hateful, more angry, more guilt inside then only then I will say that the person condition gets worse with time. The solution? Grow to the opposite side of the spectrum, love-hate, happy-angry, forgive-guilt.

          peace

First let him become a true believer... He is just a muslim in my thorough understanding.. True believer is 231-10

the person talks about the verse where The God says that believers will have a decent life .. and now that is not going to be the case for them ..
but i respond with verse 286 of surah 2 where The God says no soul is burdened with more than it could take

any thoughts? the person is losing their passion in their faith and saying The God hates them etc (and im getting confused and drawn into their arguments)

          thank you

          peace

True believer doesnt lose hope and lose faith... Let him read complete quran ... You can't do more than that for him... God guides..

Let’s take it as common not as your friend… People do mistakes and sins… It is part and parcel of life for majority of the human…
God is ever ready to forgive us… He loves who ask for forgiveness… But at certain point human should learn and avoid most of his sins…
Real begging for one’s past sins and mistakes is well known to God… So tell him don’t worry.. Keep the hope in the Creator coz He doesn’t have anyone to keep faith if he loses the faith on Him…

It is very clear within the Book, that God sends Messengers to worst of worst people in the first place…
For example God sent Prophet Luth to his Community… When a messengers is sent to a community there is expectation… that is to pass the message and hopefully they get reminded and reform…. So, God loves reforming…. Be any kind of worse person one could be .. but if reformed and guided and chosen the right path, then God is with him/her..

Or take the example of King Pharaoh.. Obviously, he ended a bad person, he was in fact a bad person, but still God sent messengers with reminders and guidance… What if he reformed? Will God deny him? No… So, When one is reformed and got back to the track what is right.. God is always with him…
Every single act of human being is recorded as we all aware… God judges fairly… God will not judge merely with the past, but He judges overall …. Having to face the death Disbeliever is the worse… But we have to ensure we die as Muslim being a believer…

So all I can say is God will forgive… Since there is nothing that God cannot forgive once one is reformed… Total transformation from being evil disbeliever to righteous believer is mercy…

But one thing all believers should have.. that is to be upright in the faith and not fluctuate time and time again and die in that state…

He needs to cultivate his soul gradually... First of all trying to save him from doing the zina the fourth time.... That is within him and within his true belief... If he continues, the chance for reform is very minimum..

            Peace tutti_frutti .
Qoran actually gives your friend his answers, let us look at some verses that may apply here;-
Is your friend correcting his ways sincerely?
Then what is the problem? Nothing to fear looking at the verses below

God has revealed herein the best Hadith; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways (to Heaven and Hell). The skins of those who reverence their Lord cringe therefrom, then their skins and their hearts soften up for God's message. Such is God's guidance; He bestows it upon whoever wills (to be guided). As for those sent astray by God, nothing can guide them.

If your friend has got something wrong with the body of this life, then tell him to make sure he looks after the body of the next life-soul-

What is better than saving one's face from the terrible retribution on the Day of Resurrection? The transgressors will be told, "Taste the consequences of what you earned."

We have cited for the people every kind of example in this Quran, that they may take heed.

As long as your friend is honest in his repentance and does not go back on his loyalty to GOD, GOD s promise will follow, this verse warns against disloyalty

f the human is touched by adversity, he implores us, but as soon as we bestow a blessing upon him, he says, "I attained this because of my cleverness!" Indeed, this is only a test, but most of them do not know.

Here is what happens if one tries to fool GOD

Those before them have uttered the same thing, and their earnings/ways did not help them in the least.
They suffered the consequences of their evil works. Similarly, the transgressors among the present generation will suffer the consequences of their evil works; they cannot escape.
Do they not realize that God is the One who increases the provision/help... for whomever He chooses, and withholds? These are lessons for people who believe.

And finally tell your friend about God's Infinite Mercy

Proclaim "O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of God's mercy. For God forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful."
You shall obey your Lord, and submit to Him totally, before the retribution overtakes you, then you cannot be helped.
And follow the best path that is pointed out for you by your Lord, before the retribution overtakes you suddenly when you least expect it.
Lest a soul may say, "How sorry I am for disregarding God's commandments; I was certainly one of the mockers."
            ...
I am sure you and your friend have got a copy of GOD s message.Keep following it and there will be nothing to fear.
            GOD bless you.
            Peace.

yes could be a lesson, the issue is that the person is young and this is a life long condition (not fatal but quality of life decreases a bit) and is very uncomfortable to live with

              salam jkhan

thank you very much for your reply

the person believes as per the verses 1-10 of surah 23, but you are right a true believer never loses hope
however, the issue is is it a punishment or a lifelong test?

the person reformed and rifht from weong were made clear to them....but knowing the bad and wronged he still comitted the act (and i believe regrets a lot)

you think this could be a life long test? although quality of life goes down?

              salam good_logic

              thank you for your message

yes indeed The God’s mercy is infinite.. He created mercy

so that is the issue... as this is a life long condition it is hard to see the mercy in this situation

it is not a sickness that gets better with medication and patience (operation is possible but decreases quality of life).... so the issue lies there ... that the problem follows for life

indeed body of this lofe is just of this lofe and one needs to focus on the afterlife .. hoping The God forgives

              thank you very much

              thank you for your replies

even if it's or not a punishment, seek God out. whatever it is God is your refuge.
sometimes people don't realize his mercy, so we shouldn't judge with no knowledge

thank you for sharing that verse, yes indeed what befalls us is only what The God wants ... and this life is just temporary, play and amusement so yes you are right it is key that we be patient and endure whilst seeking forgiveness and help from The God ...

indeed we do not know if punishment or not, and you are right we should always seek refuge with The God no matter what

it is just soo hard when given such situation but i need to learn to trust The God

                  thank you very much

                      Peace Tutifruti,

As I see, it happens to everyone on multiple occasions, I think the force which makes us realize our mistake means, we are still closer to the force, our God.
Life and death are inevitable, think about the present how to solve the condition or how to pass through it,
optimum fasting is one of best practice to clean up our mind and body, praying to give alms, asking God to give guidance and seek things in goodness ways.

Often we think the cure for our difficult condition is in far away, costly means, but in reality it can be very closer to us and very easy to get, thats my experience.

don't give up, you still have time to make it right. dont overthinking about god, just trust that god will always close to you and never lose your hope for his mercy.

                          salam youmu

if i may ask, how did you find your strength to keep seeking God?

i have lost passion s i know The God is the Lord, there is no doubt. I just have no passion anymore in praying (i still obey in everything but no pleasure in prayer ... i used to pray from sunset to darkness non stop and thrn throughout night and at fajr, and Quran reading everynight and fajr recitation .. now i pray once for 5 min at night and 5 min fajr prayer too and thats all)

i also want to add that the condition is perhaps noy congenital but acquired i think (so perhaps it could have been prevented (i think it was caused by my actions but not sure))

                          salam amin

                          thank you for your reply

it is not the cure the issue as it is a lifelong condition that is not degenerative but very annoying and handicapping in everyday life

so i feel like i am being misguided by The God as my passion disapeared (i still believe in The God but no pleasure in my prayers at all as i lost hope in His mercy (which i shouldnt as only the rejecters lose hope in God’s mercy))

life and death indeed are inevitable... i am not afraid of dying but rather anout what comes after... i am traumatized about hell (i understand hell is literally as described in Quran with fire and boiling water etc and people stay in it without hope of leaving it) so i keep telling myself The God took away my pleasure in prayer and perhaps i am being slowly misguided ...

                          salam acion

                          thanx for your reply

i want to keep hope of His mercy and not lose hope especially that i know this life is temporary

but how can i keep hope for His mercy when the condition is lifelong ? i literally lost any pleasure in praying and dont know how to regain it (i still believe in The God and obey everything except prayer times etc) and prayer is extreeeemely important ...

                          thank you

trust that the true god is a god full of intelligence and understanding and insight, and hold god in high regard, and for your part you ought to be honest with yourself and strive to live your life with intelligence and understanding and insight, because if you do, you are probably not wrong. and if you're not wrong, you have nothing to fear for.

                                salam everyone

thank you cerberus and imrankhawaja for your posts

                                i have a question

in surah 2 verse 155, The God says

“and We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage in money and lives and fruits. and give good news to those who are patient.”

notice how He does not say test by illness ! (i believe the words chosen by God are very precise)

so you think illness is more a punishmemt rather than test? or are there other verses about illnesse as test?

i still believe in God and that Quran is His last word and i do fear Him and all... its just i have no more passion in prayer (i stopped getting up for fajr) and in reading Quran ans this is very dangerous for me

                                help ... im lost

                                thank you very much

                                peace

                                  You say,quote
"i literally lost any pleasure in praying and dont know how to regain it (i still believe in The God and obey everything except prayer times etc) and prayer is extreeeemely important ..."

How can prayer be more important than the straight path?-Sirat Al Musraqueem-

It may be a helping mechanism to strengthen the path but one needs to start on the straight path first and foremost otherwise all the prayers in the world would be pointless . A waste of time.

The main aim for salvation should be to become a good person with good morals All the traits that are helpful and beneficial to the soul are only the good traits of Justice,compassion,love,kindness,forgiveness,peaceful....etc.

We have turned GOD s deen of the straight path upside down and rituals have taken the priority to fool people ,while the inside intentions and righteousness are disguised /covered and Iblis is having a field day with us! Never mind being good towards people and GOD s creatures, just pray and keep up the rituals and things like wickedness towards our soul and towards people , GOD s creatures and the earth will be forgiven

Brother, change your priority to work on yourself and GOD s promise of help will follow.
GOD wants us to love one another ,be kind to one another and be peaceful with one another. GOD cannot be fooled by rituals if they are meaningless.
HOPE you will find yourself. GOD is always there and will never refuse His servant once they take the deep conviction to start on the straight path and mean it.
                                  GOD bless you.
                                  Peace.

i have not become a bad person or anything ... i still aim for kindness and compssion towards people and try to give charity and invite people to path of God’s mercy etc etc

but prayer is extremely important .. we are told throughout Coran to maintain our prayers

not praying or not praying as we are told during the times we are told is unacceptable

my issue is that i lost hope in His mercy towards me so i get lazy and unpassionate in praying

                                      Then no worries brother
Your Lord knows that you used to meditate (PRAY IN YOUR CASE) (taqoom) during the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, and .... God has designed the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot always do this. He has pardoned you. Instead, you shall read what you can of the Quran. He knows that some of you may be ill, others may be traveling in pursuit of God's provisions, and others may be striving in the cause of God....
Or in your case you are moving through another stage?

I still say do not worry if you still try your best to be righteous and follow Qoran

This Quran guides to the best path, and brings good news to the believers who lead a RIGHTEOUS LIFE, that they have deserved a great recompense.

As long as you stay with Qoran(Reading it/studying it,remembering GOD).. Just let go of all the negative around you, and all the insecurities within yourself . Because the teachings of Quran, through our constant READING, become like a melody that resonates in the body, the mind, and the spirit.
A constant reminder, comfort and growth & progress.
                                      GOD bless you.
                                      Peace.

It is pretty sad this topic still continues that shows you have not figured out your areas to address..
Don't think brother you are doing everything fine but only losing hope thus rather losing faith in God...
Losing hope in God means you are losing your path. Coz He guides and how can you lose hope in Him.. Then on whom you will keep faith...
If you lose hope on mercy of God how many things you go away..did you ever ponder...

                                        • losing hope itself a sign of disbelief 1287
                                        • losing hope of mercy of God is denying a Quranic verse...
                                        • denying verses of God only leads to threshold of Hell..

So many things you can figure out with losing hope of mercy of God...

Even if you discard salat it means you deny knowingly an order of God... those who lazy in Salat is sign of Munafiq.. 4142

So dear... Don't let Satan to enter your way..

Just calm down and sort out what makes you lazy... If the salat Fajr is making you lazy.. Then trace the reasons behind it.. May be you are going to sleep so late.. Or tired of overworking.. Something could be there.. If you have interest for Salat but if you still skip then there is some physical and mental reasons there for that... Sort out then technically.. How can one say I am doing everything fine and can't perform Salat in time.. Is it the hardest part of our life?... I don't think so... It is within you.. Sort it out..

By simply losing hope in God and you can't keep telling I am doing rest fine... It could be beginning for a disaster... So approach God even He discards your supplications again and again... Don't forget we are here to be tested... What I feel is God's mercy is always with true believers ...just they need to know what God's mercy is..

                                        @ unseenlight..
                                        Regarding your PM..

Why I said to guard from doing zina fourth time is coz sinning continuously is while knowing the impact of sin will not reform us.. We got to have a grip on it... There should be a full stop to what we feel wrong.. Just everytime repeat the same mistake and beg for pardon won't give any sense... Will it?
Sorry for delay in responding.. I wish I can enter this forum every day but life is so diverse..

                                          salam tutti_frutti

know that there is no punishment if you didn't pray.
it's beneficial to us on behavior level, but not praying leads to bad consequences if we want to be good.
we'll find ourselves not wholly controlling ourselves to some degree. we might not realize how dangerous that is until it's too late doing some stupid mistake willingly or not willingly.
remembrance helps me control myself and to stop the foreign influence that for some reason wants to break me apart.
so i choose to do it. i believe it's a matter of choice.

as for your question, passion definitely helps but it's only that.
like i said before remembrance is good for me, since a lot of people in this world seems to not care about what's God's they tend to have bad influence on us who believe in afterlife.
like teeth like us, not cleansing ourselves leads to bad behavior.

as for sickness, i wish you good. again it might or might not be a punishment, if you think that it is ask God for forgiveness. He forgives.
hope things will get better soon,
                                          945-6

                                          also here's a verse
