    Peace

Recently I have found lots of people who believe in reincarnation going for some kind of therapy called "Past life Regression" pioneered by Dolores Cannon where they find out memories about the past lives. What is your view on this?

I think one explanation could be implanting false memories by hypnosis.

Well apparently it was definitely not started by Dolores Cannon, the earliest written record can be traced to 2nd century BC.

And how or to where does this 'false' memories being put into?

This lead to additional questions regarding memory or information itself.
And also a process or phenomenon called "Identification".

Let's do a thought experiment, if let's say suddenly you can download all information of life experience of Adolf Hitler to your memory.
All first person experience of Adolf Hitler are available to you, from birth to death.
And also all the thoughts and feelings that Adolf felt throughout his life, in first person perspective.

Will you not then identify "I" or "ME" as Adolf Hitler as well?
In addition to the persona that you're identifying yourself with currently?
Will not the additional knowledge of all first person experience of the life of Adolf makes you think that "I" was also "Adolf Hitler" in my past?
And thinking that you had a 'past life'?
Since you know that "Adolf Hitler" was living in the year which is lesser than your current persona's birth date.

Now suddenly remove all of the first person experience of Adolf Hitler from your memory, just click and then choose 'delete'.
Will you not instantly will 'un-identifying' yourself from Adolf Hitler?
Since now you have no knowledge whatsoever regarding Adolf Hitler life experience from first person perspective.

See how merely the knowing (and the unknowing) of information regarding persona's first person life experience will change and influence your 'identification'.

Now what if that persona which life experience information being 'downloaded' were not living in the past but he (or she) was born in 2100 CE and died in 2142 CE.
Were you now will think that you have a 'future life'?

      Which then beg the questions
Is it truly 'something' that jumping from one persona to another?
If it is what's that something really is?
Or was it merely the knowing of information that disrupt one's identification process?
If it was, then 'who' (or what) is this 'thing' that currently identify itself as "only you". (or as "only me" if it's said from your perspective) and not somebody else?

Sorry I am not getting what you are tying to explain or ask here.
