Does Paradise already exist
-
salam
i think paradise and hell already exist
The God says “we have prepared” hell so i am guessing hell is already there (as in 4813)
also we are told there are seven heavens and they will become gates ... we are also told hell has seven gates and for each there is a segment of people.. i understand hell to be the seven heavens and earths
we are also told the earth will change and that (as i understand) believers if they had certainty they would have seen hell of their living but that they will see it for sure when brought back to life after death
we are also told that every human will pass over hell and be in hell on his knees (1970-72)
we are also told that the seas will be set ablaze
i believe hell to be the seven heavens and the seven earths and we are actually in the lowest hell
and i believe paradise to be above the seven skies perhaps beneath the Lord’s throne as we are told mohammed pbuh was taken to the utmost boundary near which is the garden of refuge and that paradise is as wide as the skies and the earth
so i think paradise alreasy exists and hell too (i think we are in lowest hell)
(also adam and his wife i understand were in paradise so maybe it exists already)
please verify for yourselves as my arabic isnt that good so i compare arabic with translations when reading the Quran and my understanding could also be flawed and misguided

@tutti fruitti,
thank you for the interesting perspective and views.
But if this life is already the 'lowest hell', why would God not make this clear in the Qur'an? This life is more described as 'the life of this world', it's never explicitly stated in the Qur'an to my knowledge that we are currently in a type of hell. And some people seem to be really enjoying themselves in this life. There are a lot of ups and downs. I mean we have blessings such as movies, the internet, music, friends, hobbies etc. here. Would a lowest hell have such things?

salam sarah
by taking the different descriptions of hell and other mentions of it, i came to the conclusion that earth is hell (of course, perhaps i am wrong)
i dont think it really matters if we have lots of blessings here as tou mention, since everything will be destroyed, the earth levelled and changed into another earth a.k.a. hell
i could gather the verses that led me to this conlusions and share them if you want

Peace everyone..
8123 "And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon"
By above verse it confirns that what Mohamed saw in chapter 53 is non an nothing but Jibreal and his Decendig ..
Note special word usages of these verses...
dāl lām wāw .....
nūn zāy lām....
These words mean something coming down or puting down.. Gibreal in fact came down to Earth where Mohamed was... Not Muhamed went up and saw what he saw.. No evidence at all in any of such verses...
Gibreal decended showed himself in the highest horizon and came so close to him... And stand firm ... And revealed... Revelation always decended and not tookplace by ascending... Sunnah of Allah never change for any messenger..Regarding Sidra/lote tree...
3416 "But they turned away , so We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees"Above verse in Earth..
And below verse in Janna ..
5628 "Among thornless lote-trees"So nothing special of lote tree...
Mawa is just ABODE.. Be it in Janna or Jahanna or any place of abode...
How do you prove that Mohamed ascended by any of these verses... Read carefully chapter 53... You can't decide non other but Decendig....
So once decended there are gardens and it depends which place jibreal decended. On this earth gardens are created by God... Never discard that God has used Janna in many a verses to refer gardens of this earth...If one claims this Mawa is in samawathi... Fine.. Coz we know there is / are Janna/s in samawathi as I stated earlier.. But jibreal decended.. And nothing of mohamed ascending is mentioned.. So that makes anyone's approach to claim otherwise is very fragile ..
God says he didn't lie what he SAW...what he saw in fact? decending of Messenger Jibreal... Not once twice... That's all he saw..
It is not necessary for jibreal to show himself everytime when he decend... It was all to strengthen the prophet initially ..
Read the verses 11107 and 108... Ponder over it... God claims Janna and Jahanna life continues as long as the Earth and samawathi endures.. Why? If Janna believers are destined to live is in samawathi..then endurance of samawathi only enough in verse 11108.. No need the endurance of Earth.. Sane question for verse 11107 . Remember God destroys the current earth and heavens.. Then He talks about His second creation and its endurance...
So do Janna and Jahanna already exist?
By these two verses, we can clearly deduce that Janna and Jahanna is on earth which definitely has samawathi.. Without samawathi NO Earth.. Without earth NO samawathi.. God never rolled the earth but only samawathi.. Earth separate and entire samawathi separate.. That's what He recreates again as He promised.. -
salam,
thank you for the answers.
What do you mean by mawa and samawathi?
Salam..
Regarding your two questions...
Samawathi is very clear within Quran if you read all Sama and samawathi verses and how they are used to explain things.. God made out of one Sama seven... I have replied to this question in another topic to TMTT..
Samawathi extends from above earth surface to the ceiling of last sama and what is on top of it... Accordingly, We breath in sama... Rain Clouds and clouds gathering in sama.. Blue sky in sama, Sun and moon in sama.. Darkness in sama, Stars are in sama.. Jins approach to steal hearing is sama(concrete) ... Nothing can force through the last sama... Likewise God would have assigned seven heavens and there functions.. All these sama make samawathi seven.. But definitely each sama has its own function different to one another in its quality and function.. ... So one can research and verify what they could be.. But unfortunately it only works in stationary Earth...Mawa is just abode be it pleasant or unpleasant...

I get the impression paradise already exists.
If 'paradise' here means a 'state'.
A state of happiness, peaceful-ness, blissful-ness.. then yes it already exist and always exist.
And you can find such state within yourself, you actually don't need an 'external' stimulus for that, such as a specific place or physical location. The way to understand this is
Imagine yourself as a blind woman, blinded since birth you can't see anything externally, just darkness.
Would beautiful scenery be something that is useful for you to feel happy, peaceful and blissful? Now turn the perspective around, when you are already feel happy, peaceful and blissful?
Would you still need external environment to feel happy, peaceful and blissful?Find it within your own self and you will realize that such state is a very powerful state.
It can even turn any 'hellish surrounding environment' into a paradise. The reverse is also true, when you feel fearful, anger, upset, distressed, sad, guilt, painful within.
Then you will turn any environment to be a 'hellish environment' for you. -
1335 The parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised!- beneath
it flow rivers perpetual is the enjoyment thereof and the shade therein such
is the end of the Righteous; and the end of Unbelievers in the Fire.4715 A similitude of the Garden which those who keep their duty (to Allah) are promised
Therein are rivers of water unpolluted, and rivers of milk whereof the flavour changeth not,
and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers, and rivers of clear-run honey; therein for them
is every kind of fruit, with pardon from their Lord. (Are those who enjoy all this) like those
who are immortal in the Fire and are given boiling water to drink so that it teareth their bowels? The afterlife is unseen.
Does it exist already? What difference does it make?
Give good news to those who believe and lead a righteous life that they will
have gardens with flowing streams. When provided with a provision of fruits therein,
they will say, "This is what was provided for us previously." Thus, they are given
allegorical descriptions. They will have pure spouses therein,
and they abide therein forever.peace

Salam, brother hawk!
I wonder how do you translate 1854
And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from every example; but man has ever been, most of anything, dispute.Peace!

Peace All
God knows that the majority of human are not going to accept the true surrender to Him. They are not going to accept that GOD wants this true surrender and acceptance as a first step/criteria towards giving them the guidance and understanding of His message.
In fact ,deep down in their conviction, they doubt that GOD Alone can guide. They think their intelligence,, ego,or other"gods"'clever humans/scholars/...can guide them better.
So they argue their case despite clear evidence that GOD s message is full of examples and lessons of those that are disobedient and arrogant(like Ibless for example)
1854 "We have cited/given in this Quran every kind of example, but the human being is the most argumentative creature"
GOD says that paradise exist/will exist.( There will be one for sure when it is needed). While here in this life it is pointless arguing either way or where exactly it is.
For example this will happen
The day will come when He says, "Call upon My partners, whom you claimed to be gods beside Me," they will call on them, but they will not respond to them. An insurmountable barrier will separate them from each other. And in here the example of hell
"The guilty will see Hell, and will realize that they will fall into it. They will have no escape therefrom."More example from the past humans
"Nothing prevented the people from believing, when the guidance came to them, and from seeking the forgiveness of their Lord, except that they demanded to see the same (kind of miracles) as the previous generations, or challenged to see the retribution beforehand.""We only send the messengers as simply deliverers of good news, as well as warners. Those who disbelieve argue with falsehood to defeat the truth, and they take My proofs and warnings in vain."
The criteria of total acceptance and trust in GOD is very important
"Who are more evil than those who are reminded of their Lord's proofs, then disregard them, without realizing what they are doing. Consequently, we place shields on their hearts to prevent them from understanding it (the Quran), and deafness in their ears. Thus, no matter what you do to guide them, they can never ever be guided."
So paradise exist or will exist and we will all know for sure after this life.
GOD is inviting all of you there
"Yet, your Lord is the Forgiver, full of mercy. If He called them to account for their deeds, He would annihilate them right there and then. Instead, He gives them a respite until a specific, predetermined time; then they can never escape."
Do not let disbelief, arrogance and disobedience make fall into "hell"
GOD bless you all.
Peace. -

Peace TellMeTheTruth, I understand ayat 1854 like this
(1854) And surely We have explained matters to people in the Qur'an in
diverse ways, using all manner of parables. But man is exceedingly contentious. This is to warn the people that the Quran has left no stone unturned in making the
truth plain. It has employed all kinds of arguments, parables, similitudes and used
all the possible effective ways to appeal to the hearts and the minds of man, adopted
the best possible style and I also think some of us make the mistake that the Quran
among other things is other than a book of guidance, given to us so that we can walk
the Sirat al-Mustaqim. sometimes we prefer to debate the unseen even though it is
called the unseen for a reason.peace
