18:69 In Sha Allah vs Yasha'a Allah

1869 Moses said "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient nor shall I disobey thee in aught."
In Brother Aymans article on "Free choice" if I understood correctly, for things that are not predestined the present tense Yasha'a Allah was appropriate and for things that are predestined " Sha'a" was appropriate.
Does this verse contradict the understanding, or do you think it describes that our characters on whether we will accept things are predestined.

Please note my correction in bold to the translation above.
In 1869, Moussa is talking about how another person will find him (an outcome) and not about his own choice. As far as the person that Moussa is talking to is concerned, he has no control over what Moussa does or doesn't do. Similarly, Moussa may in fact be be patient, but the other person may see him as "not patient". Moussa has no control over what another person thinks.
Remember, all possible oucomes are already created. We simply choose from the available ones and only our choice not predestined but is based on whether The God presently guides us to the right choice. As far as we are concerned, whether the outcome of "another person being patient" is one of the available outcomes or not is predestined.
Contrast this to the wrong statement made by Bani Israel in 270. They should have either said "you will find us, if The God willed, from those who are guided" or "We will be, if The God wills, from those who are guided". Instead they wrongly said "We will be, if The God willed, from those who are guided".

You probably said to yourself "if the God wills I will explain"(choice to attempt to explain)
