    Salam

Can someone please explain meaning of صلب and ظهور in 7172 , 423 and 867?

i know sulb means anything hard/powerful we use same meaning in persian…..

In 867 صلب means backbone doesnt makes sense… sperm doesnt exist from between of backbone and ترائب

What about 423 What is the relation of صلب with son? Is sons from your loin correct? I dont get relation of loin with son

And in 7172…. What is the relation of loin and bani adam, does quran say that the sperm/son comes from loin of man?

    Please help about meaning, peace

This is normal because you are not a man of the 7th century but of the 21st century! The Qur'anis not a book of science in the modern sense of the term. The contextualization of the Qur'an is the key to your problem, and you have to accept that your cultural and intellectual reference points of today are not necessarily the same as those of the 7th century on the west coast of Arabia. It is a role-playing game that one has to play in order to better understand the Quran in its original meaning. It is then up to each one to draw life lessons for his own time.

          Peace be upon you.

It is said in the Kur , وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ سُلَالَةٍ مِنْ طِينٍ, meaning what was drawn forth from every kind of dust, or earth (Fr, TA) or from a pure, or choice, or most excellent, sort of earth or clay. (Ksh, Bd, Jel.) ―

                • And The sperma genitalis of a man, or human being; (S, TA what is drawn from the صُلْب of the man and from the تَرَائِب of the woman (AHeyth, TA) the water (مَآء) that is drawn from the back. ('Ikrimeh, TA.) ―

If the meaning of this lexicon is true…. It means Quran did a mistake about sperm of men? The sperm that is drawn from loin isnt correct… sperm doesnt came from loin/back

I see it’s basic reading comprehension as in “heart” thread go visit an English literature forum ask same question why Shakespeare, Milton, Blake et al use terms like heart and breast as the seat of one’s mindset etc., see how it goes — likewise above you missed “of the woman” part.
