I'd like to share an article by M.A.S Abdel Haleem. The article is titled "The Role of Context in Interpreting and Translating the Qur'an."
I consider it to be an important contribution to Quranic studies. It's a really good article, in my opinion. I heartily recommend it.

Is this the same Abdel Haleem that quran.com uses as one of their English translators? I've always considered his to be one of the most sane and reasonable of the translations. So called 'sahih international' is about the worst.
