Was Quran revealed only in Ramadhan?
-
In 2185, it's explicitly mentioned
شَہۡرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِیۡۤ اُنۡزِلَ فِیۡہِ الۡقُرۡاٰنُ
Shahr Ramadhan is that which the Quraan was revealed
What about other times?
it is a very good logical question... Of course within the knowledge of Quran we do understand it was not revealed all at once.. God himself accepts and claims, we revealed quran step by step to you so that it may strengthen your faith in heart...
But point to note is when God says Quran it doesn't mean every time the entire Quran.. Coz even before the quran was revealed completely, God claims it as Quran.. After all what He was revealing gradually was Quran... Try to grasp that within verses of Quran.. People said bring a Quran other than this.. so does that mean complete Quran was revealed for them to say so.. No.. But they know what Mohamed was revealed is Quran ...
But the point about Ramadhan ... Everything has a beginning ... So Quran was revealed in Ramad.. According to arabic in Hot days ... Until first few verses was revealed it cannot be Quran... For example .. Movie name is fixed.. for example AVATAR.. so they say we were shooting Avatar.. but until it is fully shot it cannot be avatar but still whatever they shot was AVATAR..if anyone claims that Complete Quran was revealed in so called arabic month of Ramadhan.. it is sheer prejudiced statement which never has any proof within quran..

If it was nazzala then yes it would be part by part.

Honestly I don't know the differences between nazzala and unzila.. Suppose what you say is correct.. It is still not complete Quran.. Coz whatever revealed first was complete nothing revealed other than that in Ramadhan.. But was was revealed is Quran's verses.. That's complete.. But not entire Quran..
God's intention we can't deduce.. He unzila whatever completely intended on that day.. And what was intended to deliver was unzila.. Right.. Coz in the same day ramadhan if God delivered whatwver delivered in three for times then nazzala would suit but He revealed what He intended so what is wrong in using unzila.. -
Are you sure about what you say?
Can you bring all Unzila and Nazzala verses of Quran and clarify why this is Unzila and why it is Nazzala depending on contexts of the verses..
That's a tough job but you still claim Unzila means complete and Nazzala means portions.. -

There are too many to list. They have the same root however applied differently.
But I think either way the sending down vs revealing and teaching are all similar.

Have you tried to think about other meanings of the word fi (in)? For example, you can say "I'm in my house", but you can also say "I'm in love".
