Of course it's physical. And he's talking about now, not in the apocalypse.

I repeat, angels, jinns, human beings...they are all physical and material. Even Paradise and hell are material.

The belief in an immaterial spirit world comes from satanic and perverted spiritism.

The verse you cited also talks about material angels supporting the good while they are still in the world. If you read the whole paragraph you can easily see the truth.

There are no spirits/souls, there are no ghosts.

By the way, we also see in the verses that the jinn have an advanced civilization, both underwater and space travel. They were created long before us and it is normal for them to be advanced in science and technology.

    Peace

And very special and exceptional people, such as martyrs and prophets, are already living physically in the Hereafter universe called the Lord's Floor.

    No souls, no ghosts

Jinn workers for Suleymaan are strangers, Phoenicians who worked on temple. Some of them are also called šeyTaans. This word in general means that somebody is going over bounds constantly. In my language we have 3 words from the same root, namely "mašta", "taština" and sujeta", of which "mašta" means "imagination", and other two mean "vanity" and "conceit". For these builders being šeyTaans means that they used imagination to build things for Suleymaan, they were not ordinary builders, which is why he used strangers to build.

If you read all the verses about the jinn and the whole Qur'an in its entirety, you can easily see the fallacy of this.

Some so-called Quran-only people say there is no prayer/salaat, no fasting, no pilgrimage, no jinn, no angels, and they are talking nonsense.

They call jinns germs or human, angels natural phenomena. The pantheistic Sufis even say that Allah/God does not exist. According to them, God is the representation of the system and the universes themselves are the so-called god.

And again they try to present their perverted communist beliefs as if they were from the book.

You can try to validate your beliefs, including atheism, from the book, either by tweaking verses, giving symbolic meanings to verses, or ignoring certain verses... by deceiving yourself of course...

      Peace

Bro, no need to tekfeer me. If you wanna discuss bring your Hujjaat or ask me to explain better anything you want, or just cool off and skip. I'm not all-wise nor all-knowing, I'm saying what I've learned from the Qur'an about the world we live in. I've found in history that Phoenicians were builders of Solomon's temple, because there were no builders like them in that time. I've already found that jinn is something out of perception/senses, so I connected the dots. I don't know about your issues with sufis, they can believe whatever they want. Every man has his reasons.

How can a physical being be inside of a human?

We live inside of our bodies. You can call what occupies the body what you like i.e., soul, spirit, etc., that is why we say "my" foot, my knee, my arm our bodies belong to us and are separate from what people call soul, spirit etc., . When we dream our bodies does not accompany us. There is no other physical inside of our physical bodies.

            Peace
Jinn did dwell in the sky, remember.

The jinn dwelling in the sky is an allegory telling us that Allah protected Quran from corruption.

            God bless you

            peace

Astral projection as I understand it is when your soul is able to leave your body and travel to different places whilst you're awake...

When the Qur'an mentions Iblis and his tribe can see you but you can't see him, are part of his tribe human too?

Yes "Astral Projection" is real and is called by many names in many languages since ancient times.
What is being "Projected" is the consciousness.
Thus it is the "Consciousness" focused on different layer of body thus experiencing different realm / universe.

Natural events such as physical death, near death experience and sleeping is an example of "astral projection". One can also experience astral projection through hypnosis or deep meditation.

There are multiple universes each sits one after the other on specific range of "energy frequencies". Physicist is starting to probe on this through their theory of Multiverses which came forth as the consequences of "String theory" where everything vibrates.

The metaphor is similar to the radio, you can focus on specific range of frequencies and you will experience the radio station which situated on that specific range of frequency. You can then shift the dial to focus on different range of frequencies.

Among those universes / realm frequencies are those who are 'not so nice', everything is dark and gloomy, hatred and fear dominate the environment. As such any 'entity' there are not so nice either. Many people label this as "Lower Astral Realms".

And among those universes / realm frequencies are those who are very nice, everything is bright and happy, love and positivity dominate the environment, The "entity" there are very nice, many people label this as "Higher Astral Realms".

Where the "lower" and "higher' here resemble the "frequency" that you are tuning into.
While the physical world that you're experiencing during your wakeful state lies "in between" that's why you find a good mix of negativity and also positivity. Enabling you to "tune in" to the either negative or positive based on your own free will.

If you're interested I can refer you to materials which better explain this and can help you to experience 'astral projection' yourself.

Here is a good start jkhan, you may find this info useful.

From reading the Quran I deduce that the jinn are misunderstood, and your Arabic is superior to mind. Having said that here is what I would like to share with you. Why Jinn cannot be other creature than human beings? Reason # 1– Jinn & Ins = Bashar. Throughout the Qur’an, it is told that all the messengers were Bashar(human)
“You are but only Bashar/Human like us. Then bring us a sign if you are of the truthful.” (Al Qur’an 26154)

And “O you jinns and Ins, did you not receive messengers from among you, who narrated to you My revelations, and warned you about the meeting of this day? They will say, “We bear witness against ourselves.” They were totally preoccupied with the worldly life, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.” (Al Qur’an 6130)

Say, “If angels walked about and dwelled on the earth, We would have sent an angel from the heaven as messenger.” (Al Qur’an 1795)

This Insha'Allah is very important to understand
“There were men(Rijāl) from among Ins who used to seek help from the men(Rijāl) among the Jinn, but they only helped increase them in sin.” (Al Qur’an 726)
Rijal, what does it mean? Have a look rijall 1Rā-Jīm-Lām= walk, to go on foot. to comb, to let down, behave like a man; to walk all the way, to become a man, reach the age of manhood, grow up; to act like a man

Mostly people use Chapter Al-Rahman in support of their mythical theory on jinn.

Their beautiful mates were never touched by any human or jinn. If one focus on these verses in depth, the chapter doesn’t prove jinn as other creature than a human being. Does that chapter really prove Jinn as other creature than human beings? how comes the ships, pearls, hanging fruits, mates, and fountains be marvels for the invisible creature, physically made of fire? How can they have forelocks and feet? (5241)

Conclusion The root of “Jinn” is “jīm nūn nūn”, which means concealed, darkness, insanity/madness, hidden (my personal addition sneaky)

Therefore in my opinion 72 8&9 are metaphorical.

                  God bless you

                  peace

Well Hawk that's a pretty good elaboration giving support from Quran for you to assume (note I used word assume) that Jinn are human.. Yes for anyone who ponder based on what you have written it may well sound like Hmmm yes... These are critical points I also have given much thought process into it... Service marketing and product marketing are not same.. Are they? Lol..

So you took verses which can encourage you to take Jinn as human... But unfortunately you didn't bring verses that may make you ponder.. I wont bring all jinn verses here.. Pls go through all Jinn verses a d further compare...

But the point is you took mataphore certain verses.. And I asked why? You didn't reply why and how? But you explained something else bro..
So 728-9 is metaphorical by choice... Did you read all relevant verses in chapter 72 and each word why God used ... After that only you say mataphore.. Is it coz Jinn is directly speaking in this chapter that is why you say mataphore...
Don't forget same subject is spoken direct by Allah in other 2 places in Quran..
Whatever.. Give the logical reason why these verses are metaphorical.. Is it coz without taking them as metaphorical no way we can deduce Jinn as human...
Hope you get my tone well hope you give a comprehensive explanation relevant to question and not deviate from it.. Coz you made a statement in your first thread.. I question you based on that... Let's stick it..

You statement which I took for discussion is
"The jinn dwelling in the sky is an allegory telling us that Allah protected Quran from corruption"

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I agree that jinn, if it's about creatures, are humans, meaning "strangers, aliens". Jinn from 72nd surah Jinn are Egyptians, Coptic Christians came to hear about them (a reflexive verb was used at the start) from the Qur'an. They used to call their country "Earth" or "Land" (kem, kimet), which is equal to el-'erD, and all above to them was "the Sky", es-semaa'. In 724-9 they're talking about thier history, how they came in touch with civilizations from "the Sky" (jinn to them) and they had a seat to their highest institutions. After their downfall other civilizations (ie. Greeks and Romans in first place) had no more respect for them, so they couldn't hear what's going on in other countries. That's why they came to hear what's new in "the Sky" and they're free to hear the Qur'an.

Also, Ibrahim was shown kingdoms of the Skies and the Earth is about him going from Babylon to Egypt and getting in touch with different kingdoms from Tigris and Euphrates to Nile. Ibrahim ain't an astronaut.

Jinn are made of fire and have slightly different physical characteristics from us. But they are biological beings like us.

And as I said before, they have an advanced civilization in underwater and space travel

Then why has nobody ever seen them? It's almost as if you're talking about mermaids and aliens. I've also never seen a human being bring an object like a throne from a different country more or less at the speed of light. Where's the evidence that they have an advanced civilisation underwater? It's not mentioned in the Qur'an as far as I know and there's no real-life evidence.

Speak for yourself, you haven't seen them. Let me decide for myself whether I've seen them or not.

It's described in the Koran, so I'm telling you, and we're not talking about Lucky Luke books.

Meanwhile, computer programs started to gain consciousness. They don't need to have ghouls in them for that.

Today, chess experts cannot even understand the ingenious moves of chess programs. Even the programmers who write them can't figure out how they come up with these strategies. Now they (the machines) have a secret.

You can't see jinn because they are inside people.
You will not see people made of mud/clay walking around either.

How about we go to definitions.

Here is the trilateral root of jinn.

Jiim-Nun-Nun (root of jinn) = veiled/concealed/covered/hid/protected (e.g. cloth, armour, grave, shield), invisible, become dark/posessed, darkness of night, bereft of reason, mad/insane/unsound in mind/intellect, confusedness.
                              Become thick/full-grown/blossom, herbage, garden.
become weak and abject, greater part of mankind, devil/demon, people who are peerless having no match or equal, a being who is highly potent, sometimes refers to Kings because they are concealed from the common folk

Well Hawk that's a pretty good elaboration giving support from Quran for you to assume (note I used word assume) that Jinn are human.. Yes for anyone who ponder based on what you have written it may well sound like Hmmm yes...

The reason I answered the way I did is because I thought you would ponder D

                              God bless you both

                              peace

Meanwhile, computer programs started to gain consciousness. They don't need to have ghouls in them for that.

Today, chess experts cannot even understand the ingenious moves of chess programs. Even the programmers who write them can't figure out how they come up with these strategies. Now they (the machines) have a secret.

They are basic permutation (if then else) calculators although at times playing with infinity hence may need quantum (another fantasy calculator) to solve. Programs cannot replace human thought nor self-replicating, error correcting, copy, delete, inheriting, adaptive 4-bit chemical dna code with complete blueprints to clone itself from any of its trillions of cells that start as a microscopic speck (simply add water) and it grows then contemplates its beginnings and universe with billions of galaxies which all came nothing and 92 natural elements mixing over time e.g., if left rocks alone to "rub" a billion years then one day they “awake” asking – how did all this come about?

Similar they asked years ago would a computer beat a grandmaster in chess which has ~10^120 permutations or ~2 games for each electron in the known visible universe and in 1997 Deep Blue beat Garry Kasparov.

Nothing special the same with Quantum computing when the variables are known humans cannot compete since a computer can quickly compute all permutations like playing tic-tac-toe on an extremely large almost infinite scale although add a new variable e.g., a new chess piece etc., and AI becomes dumb as a rock!

                                peace!

You can't see jinn because they are inside people.
You will not see people made of mud/clay walking around either.

How about we go to definitions.

I think it is more appropriate if you respond in support of your earlier statement.. In case you are not able to... It is fine... No grudges...

One should not discard the fact that when Allah created Adam and commanded malaika to sujud.. And one of those was iblees.. He refused... This iblees said he was created by fire... So those who refuse jinn are not different to human is directly saying that malaika and human same creatures...
While jinn is already under the realm of God human was even not created... So baseless if sone says jinn and Men same...

                                      @ Sarah..
Why no one see jinn? You seems to be saying this...
How can you see what is not meant for visibility?
                                      .............

Okay jinn also another kind of human, then logical question is how to decide who they are... Ask yourself.. Are you jinn? Go in a crowded place ask people are you a human or jinn? If anyone says jinn then ask him what any one wants to clarify...

                                      @ hawk..
Are you jinn or human? Any clue bro.. Coz you should know who you are... Lol

jkhan, you should notice that el-melaa'ika is used as feminine and masculine, and it can't have the same meaning all the time. This fact, that names can have different meanings, wasn't known to melaa'ika before they met Aadem. In 230 when Allah told them that He's one who's making khaleefa in 'erD they thought that it means that "only one will survive" (be left "behind", literally) and that's why they were afraid that Allah intends to create somebody who'll kill all of them (create fesaad and shed blood). Luckily, we know that words can have multiple meanings, so melaa'ika has. Otherwise if you say that, for example, mu'min means "a believer" then you can't explain what His name El-Mu'min means.

                                          God bless you

                                          peace

I wish I had seen you highlighted comment... Anyway for whatever reason I have seen it now.. What a blasphemy... Bring evidence for your #1 reason.. Bashar is human being only in entire Quran.. Read below link all Bashar verses.. Do you think they are Jinns as well.. That's a blasphemy.. You can't speak on what you have no knowledge of... Did Allah tell you in Quran that JINN and Men are Bashar..
Bashar is human being like you and me and they are visible tangible touchable gor other human beings.. Read all Bashar verses in Quran and if possible I challenge you bring at least a verse close enough for you claim so.. You will never..
If you fail then remember that Allah created Bashar by clay and Jinn by fire..
