Only submit,sometimes,or occasionally???

Salaams,
this is thought provoking i think , but not many of us have the answer i think .Should one only submit/be submissive ,or sometimes/occasionally ,to Allah.
As you know you submit to your boss/employer or other such people in everyday life how is this seen with respect to submitting to Allah Alone?
Or say you are in jail ,you would no doubt submit to the wardens e.t.cIf Anyone Knows!

I agree that this is very thought provoking. Made me stop in my tracks for a while at least ) .
I don't know myself, but if submitting is classed as obeying God, then by carrying out his command by fasting, being kind to parents etc. then submitting is occasional, not constant. And if it means the actual submission and belief in his existence and infinite power, then perhaps its constant. After all, if we believe in the God, then we constantly believe that, not periodically. I think it all depends on the definition of submitting. I haven't formed a firm opinion on this yet, but i think we submit constantly becuase we believe constantly. Not 100% sure though, its just my opinion at the moment. Glad to hear view.
