Quran through Hadith
-
Peace everyone...
Well... let's discuss or even debate if you say that Yes we can use Hadith references to grasp the meaning of certain verses or all verses of Quran since Hadith play a role of language and word usage comprehensively elaborated in hadith so we can compare and understand Quran in the light of Hadith.. And it doesn't mean we follow hadith but we take reference only.... For me BIG NO.. coz hadith is after Quran I mean conventional hadiths for example everything written in hadith book of Bukhari is written on particular verse/s of Quran... So basically hadith depicts extensive fancy elaboration of Quran verses by certain people in their own understanding....
For example Zakath... As under very few hadith I present you..One who pays Zakat, Allah will make their wealth increase” (Sahih Bukhari) “The best charity is to pay Zakat on one's wealth” (Sahih Muslim) “Zakat is a right that the poor have upon the rich” (Sahih Bukhari) “Giving Zakat is more beloved to Allah than giving in charity during the entire year” (Sahih Bukhari)
So these hadiths are born with word of Quran Zakath... So in an extensive manner they are exaggerated taking the meaning of Waaathu Zakath = Give obligatory Charity... So.. What if Waathu Zakath is not Give obligatory charity.... So how can we take these hadiths as reference of language to understand the word usage of Quran... Hadiths written before QURAN without any base of Quran is fine... So we can use as language guidelines... As you all use dictionary... So there are many meaning for one word.. So to get a exact meaning for a word within the context one can refer dictionary... No harm... But in the end it should befit with logic and truth... But Hadiths are giving only one meaning and it is obvious what they say... So why apply that hadith language to Quranic words... That's trust me crazy...
Just look above hadiths... Can anyone of you bring a single Quran verse to suit the real meaning of Zakath? .. Coz the problem with the Author of these hadiths is he has taken Waaathu = Give and immediately Zakath as = Charity... But God's book is not meant as such but it was only particular person's understanding.... So why take his hadith as language reference...
I know you all have lot to say about this.. Just say what you want.. Let's see what your view...

Salam brother,
In Surah Al-Imran, Verse 164, Allah says "Indeed, Allah conferred a great favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error."
In Surah An-Nahl, Verse 44, Allah says "And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought."
In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 151, Allah says "Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom and teaching you that which you did not know."
These verses indicate that the Prophet (peace be upon him) not only recited the Quran to his companions but also explained its meaning and provided them with guidance and wisdom based on the teachings of the Quran.
The Prophet's companions would often seek his guidance and understanding of the Quran, and he would provide them with explanations and interpretations. This tradition of seeking knowledge and understanding of the Quran from the Prophet and his companions continues to this day among Muslims.
Hence I would be naive to think that prophet would say anything of different meaning other than what God has revealed and explained to him, and so God ask his companions not just to Obey God but also obey the prophet (in every sense of it).
However, the issue for us stands in todays time is that Hadith should be approached with caution, and that not all Hadith are authentic or reliable, as Hadith were compiled several generations after the Prophet's death, and that the process of transmission and interpretation can introduce errors or distortions. Hence if some one takes Quran Only as the clear and complete in its message, and that it does not require the additional guidance of Hadith to be understood,he is right in his rights as he would best best judged on his own interpretation of Quran , similar to what you have shown in many posts here.
In terms of the specific example of Zakat, it is true that the meaning of the word "Zakat" is not explicitly defined in the Quran, and that the Prophet's explanation and practice of Zakat is derived from Hadith. However, it is important to note that the basic concept of giving to the poor and needy is mentioned many times in the Quran and while there may be different interpretations of the details of Zakat, the fundamental principle of giving to those in need is firmly established in the Quran.
In essence, the decision to use Hadith as a tool for interpreting the Quran is a matter of personal choice and interpretation. While some Muslims believe that Hadith provides valuable insights into the teachings of the Quran, others prefer to rely solely on the Quranic text. It is ultimately up to each individual to determine their own approach to understanding the Quran, and seeking knowledge should not be limited by boundaries.
Allah is merciful and gracious, and He will reward those who seek to understand His word in every possible way. Just as we learn from multiple teachers in school, the pursuit of knowledge should be allowed from those who have knowledge of the Book. Moreover, a fundamental aspect of understanding the Quran is to learn the Arabic language, as Allah Himself has said
"Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran, in order that you may understand." (122)
"A book whereof the verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic, for people who know." (413)
"And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Quran that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it." (427)
"And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? In the Arabic language, without any crookedness therein, that they might avoid ." (5417-19)
These verses emphasize the importance of the Arabic language as the language of the Quran and the language of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They also suggest that the Quran was revealed in Arabic to make its message clear and understandable to the people of Arabia at the time, and that the Arabic language is a key element in preserving the accuracy and authenticity of the Quranic text.
It may be beneficial for some individuals who have only relied on translations to understand the message of the Quran to also make an effort to learn the Arabic language. This could provide a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the text. However, it is important to remember that everyone's journey towards understanding the Quran is unique and there should be no pressure or judgement towards those who may not have had the opportunity to learn the Arabic language.
Thank you brother

Thank you Fusion..
If you need to discuss about following hadith in addition to Quran, pls open a different topic or you can search and you will find loads of topics on that and you can revive one of those and present your view. In sha I would respond and others perhaps...
But this topic is not literally following hadith and practice in life hadith but taking hadith to help out to understand language of Quran... If you have anything on it pls state... But you have freedom, say what you want in this thread but no one to stop you but topic is to derive some views as I said above..In case that's what you have explained.. Then fine..
Thank you.. -
If we do not grasp the reason GOD sends scripture, we will never realise the value of GOD s words We keep doubting GOD s assertion that His words do not need any outside help or replacement.
Scripture means GOD is sending a succession of His detailed words through the generations up to the last scripture that will leave no doubt to the believer about the truth .
What is this truth?
Simply that GOD has got everything we need for our salvation fully detailed and delivered to us in a package complete and perfect . No need for any other words besides those that were given in His scripture to us..
Summed up in this verse
(4217] God is the One who sent down the scripture, to deliver the truth and the law. For all that you know, the Hour (Day of Judgment) may be very close.
How can GOD deliver the law to us if we need someone else explanation for it?
If we need some outside help with what GOD has sent us ,then GOD sent something missing in His own wordsGOD will not call His scripture complete and perfect ,nor will He say that His words are explanation for everything and unchangeable then expect others to complete it for Him!!!
Proclaim "O people, the truth has come to you herein from your Lord. Whoever is guided is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray, goes astray to his own detriment. I am not a guardian over you."Most of them follow nothing but conjecture, and conjecture is no substitute for the truth. God is fully aware of everything they do.
Such is God, your rightful Lord. What is there after the truth, except falsehood? How could you disregard all this?
His scripture says that His words- What He reveals- is the truth. Or find where GOD says others explanation/s is the truth?
May be GOD does not really mean what He says?
Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.
In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.
The day will come when we will raise from every community a witness from among them, and bring you as the witness of these people. We have revealed to you this book to provide explanations for everything, and guidance, and mercy, and good news for the Muslimeen/submitters.
But if one insists to argue about this truth, they have the choice.
GOD bless.
Peace. -
Yes... GL.. Salam...
This subject is long discussed I presume in this forum and you know very well since you are one of the oldest of members and atop of that a regular one...
Let me remind you anyway ... Do you remember that we were discussing 'difference of opinion'.. I hope you do... We can have difference in opinion but difference in opinion cannot make the truth burried... That's why in certain matters difference in opinion won't work out at all unless come to conclusion with what is truth out of difference in opinion .. Yes.. Difference in opinion is good in matters that won't affect our practice and faith.. For example sister Hakeema's latest topic... Make any opinion but with logic... No harm.. But.. There is a truth in Quran and that truth cannot be replaced by difference of opinion... We all should exert our effort to reach that goal if we are true believers.. That will definitely happen with true believers.. I am sure..
Yes. following hadith is not a subject away from Quran coz those who follow Hadith bring verses of Quran within their own understanding and substantiate the verses for their claim of following hadith.. So this is in a way difference of opinion.. So. Yes. Not an issue they have right to make difference in opinion but unless they work hard with intention to realize the truth. But unfortunately they have no intention to unearth truth but they are happy with what they accepted eventhough truth with logic is manifested to them. That's really pathetic.. Now they may question you GL or Me, if you are right why we are wrong? That's where we reply to make them understand the truth of Quran with logic and its true meaning... But even how much truth is exposed they repeat the same thing though in their statement there is no logic at all.. But they perceive it not. But insist in adamence as if they are right... But as the Quran is the truth and that is the book to be followed incontrovertiblly and not associate any other book with it then we always should have answers with us for their claim.. Isn't it? If we don't have logical and true answers within quran then their claim may seem fair to them in case the intention of the person who follow hadith is for guidance... Honestly we don't need to present the truth to them and it is every individual's duty to delve deep and find truth.. Coz it is their life..none of our concern.. But as a one who realized the truth through Quran trying to pass true message as gesture of kindness.. Nothing more than that.. We are not guardians of those who follow hadith.. Let them.. We know fellow believers have collectively responded to all their questions and doubts stating that following/practicing hadith is sheer waste of effort... But no harm reminding... Who knows who benefits.. If at least one person read and reflect then we reminded God's verses with true intent.. Who knows what the benefit with God for that..
They know Quran never says follow Hadith and Quran only instructs to follow Quran... But they persist.. We can't help.@ Fusion..
Though I started the topic for different purpose, let me remind you for what you have written...The verses of Quran you brought above like TEACH the BOOK and WISDOM as if Mohamed is TEACHING or CLARIFYING on his own way...
brother.. if your intention is guidance have patience and reflect or if your intention is to play around then keep doing it... Guided ones will never listen to Satans fancy statemnts...
So let's hope you are writing for guidance.. So I spend sometime.. Don't you realize here TEACH and CLARIFY is Quran alone.. Teaching doesn't mean classroom stuff.. Pls read all ayn lām mīm (ع ل م) and bā yā nūn (ب ي ن ) which means Know /teach and clarify / manifest respectively... Person Mohamed never did it but the Messenger did it and the duty of Messenger to deliver MESSAGE ... To elaborate let me bring a simple verse..268 "They said, "Call upon your Lord to make CLARIFY to us what it is." said, " says, 'It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,' so do what you are commanded."
Doesn't even Musa Know to clarify it not old or virgin on his own.. . So.. Here Musa, the person doesn't CLARIFY / bā yā nūn (ب ي ن) but Messenger(Musa) that is to say Allah CLARIFIES... ALLAH teaches.. Carefully reflect... Musa has nothing to clarify rather present what Allah reveal in which CLARIFICATION AND TEACHING comprises... Quran is ful Of CLARIFICATIONS and TEACHINGS and WISDOM.. they are not words of Mohamed but God's.. Perfectly taught, clarified by Allah..
Or the example the verse you brought above
3164 " Certainly did Allah confer FAVOR upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, RECITING to them His VERSES and PURIFYING them and TEACHING them the BOOK and WISDOM, although they had been BEFORE in MANIFEST ERROR.Note with prudence... Just reflect on the verses on its own.. Now compare Musa's verse with this... Only thing what he did as MESSENGER he RECITED God's VERSES... Person Mohamed cannot PURIFY anyone.. The favor here is that they got the MESSENGER reciting the verses of God... Not everyone get this favor... And the favor is God is addressing the believers here who were with the messenger... Great favor... Coz of God's verses being recited they got PURIFIED(coz they follow verses) and before that they were filthy and totally in error... By reciting the verses they were favored of coming to KNOW about SCRIPTURE and befire that they were totally unaware of scripture from God... And thus the WISDOM of the book is presented to them before that in extreme pit of error.. This is the favor... And this was not taught by Mohamed but by Messenger RECITING VERSES... So that they reflected and practiced and guided ...
Or look at the other verse you brought... 1644 " And We revealed to you the REMINDER (ZIKR/QURAN) that you may CLARIFY to the people what was sent down to them and that they may REFLECT"
Mohamed is not the one who clarifies the book of God like having classes to pupils... Same as Musa above, He RECITE and the CLARIFICATION is in Quran... They knew Arabic.. So let them as Rightly saId at the end of the verse "that they may REFLECT" ..
Yes. You are right ARABIC Quran for Arabic speaking people in the same language sane identical to what they were using so that they may understand.. No need explanation to them on manifest Arabic Quran except criteria of 37..
Well now Arabs are not sane though language is called Arabic... Not even now.. Why not even at the time of invention of hadith the language was drastically altered...
That's why all believers Arabs or none Arabs seek guidance by thoroughly studying Quran and for that solution is NOT HADITH... that's ridiculous... Then Hadith also in arabic then how come everyone understands the Arabic of hadiths... So Quran's Arabic should be reached by Hadith's Arabic and Hadiths Arabic is manifest somehow... Wow.. That's slap on God's face...I won't write this long for one who follow hadith... But I write a lot for those who follow Quran alone coz I know they are somehow believers and their differences may ease if God will.. The reason I write a lot for a hadith follower like you is bcoz I know you personally. . You approached me personally and I can still remember your tears for seeking guidance.. But you never were constant... Every time you changed color.. But still I persisted.. I wonder what made you to follow hadith while you didn't even want to accept everything in Quran.. Do you remember.. You said I don't want to believe in malaika and jinn and such stuff coz they are not visible and unscientific .. So you didn't want to believe in Quran on that but you now say you want to believe in hadith and scholars ... How can one believe just leaving certain part of Quran and still believe hadith.. What logic is that... Anyway.. Your life... I was kind at you but it doesn't mean I can save you.. Lol... Finally.. For you your path and for me my path... Both path cannot lead to guidance.. But true oath only.. That's obvious.. This is the last of such message on Hadith at you ... So sorry we are convinced that Quran is the way out... So.. Waste of time with those who are crooked with intent.. But if one day you realize that Quran is the path all alone then my door is open if you need ...
Thank you... -
Please know Jkhan, that I value our discussions here and of others, and respect your point of view, even if they may differ from mine. I will always be here to support you and listen to your thoughts.
Take care and may you find guidance in your path.

For example Finland and Swedon are developed countries with higher tax rates while same time developing countries like Uganda and Papua have also appear in the list with relative higher tax rates. Corruption could be one reason.Quran does not provide detailed guidance on taxation, Islamic principles emphasize the importance of fairness, social justice, and the collective welfare of society in shaping taxation policies. Additionally, it is recommended that the government uses Zakat (a form of Islamic charity) as an additional tool to support those in need and promote social justice.
From Hadith point of views on Taxation
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "The wealth of a Muslim is not lawful except by his consent." (Sunan Ibn Majah) This hadith emphasizes the importance of consent and voluntary participation in taxation, indicating that taxes should not be imposed unfairly or without the consent of those being taxed. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "The upper hand is better than the lower hand." (Sahih Bukhari) This hadith highlights the importance of those who are financially capable providing support to those who are less fortunate. It implies that those who have more wealth, including through taxation, should use it to benefit society and uphold social justice.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "The ruler is a shield, behind whom the people fight and protect themselves." (Sahih Muslim) This hadith emphasizes the responsibility of rulers and governments to protect and serve the people. It implies that taxation can be used to fund the necessary functions of government, including providing for the welfare of society and ensuring its well-being.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "The one who strives in the cause of Allah with his wealth and his self, and the one who fasts and gives in charity and the one who prays and gives in charity, all of them have their own distinctive reward." (Sahih Bukhari) This hadith highlights the importance of charitable giving, including through taxation, as a means of seeking reward from Allah and benefiting society.
When reviewing Hadiths on taxation, it is important to keep in mind that they should not contradict the teachings of the Quran. The Quran is the primary source of Islamic teachings, and all Hadiths must be evaluated in light of the Quranic principles.
To evaluate Hadiths related to taxation, one should look for consistency with Quranic teachings on social justice, equality, and the rights and responsibilities of both the individual and the state. For example, the Quran emphasizes the importance of helping the poor and needy through charity and zakat, while also encouraging responsible economic behavior and discouraging exploitation and corruption.
If a Hadith supports these Quranic principles and promotes a fair and just system of taxation that benefits society as a whole, it can be considered authentic and valid. However, if a Hadith contradicts these principles or promotes an unjust system of taxation that benefits the wealthy at the expense of the poor, it should be rejected as inconsistent with Islamic teachings.
Ultimately, it is important to approach the review of Hadiths on taxation with a critical and balanced perspective, seeking guidance from qualified Islamic scholars and taking into account the broader context and historical circumstances in which they were recorded.
thanks

Salam..
Yes.. This is the famous and only verse in entire Quran all hadith followers brought in all. My previous debate in many media in support of Giving Zakath but they are unable to bring within Quran what Zakath is but they are happy to say it is OBLIGATORY CHARITY muslim alone and not Sadaqa/optional charity or just charity for anyone regardless of faith. .. This is but sheer invention...
Real meaning of the verse 3039 is well connected to verse 3038.. Very manifest those who give sadaqa desiring the countenance (wajah) Allah is in fact Better and of Purity
3038 "So give the relative his haq/right(sadaqa..refer 960), as well as the needy and the traveler. That is better (Khair) for those who DESIRING the COUNTENANCE of ALLAH , and it is they who will be the successful."
3039 "And whatever you give for usury to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give for/of purity (zaka) , DESIRING the COUNTENANCE of ALLAH - those are the multipliers.
Below verse and all Sadaqa verses clarifies what exactly sadaqa is and to whom we should give them... .sadaqa is something could be done self or done by collecting from people...
960 "Sadaqa / Charity are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect and for bringing hearts together and for freeing captives and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the traveler - an obligation by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Even verse 2177 is clear to whome one should SPEND his earned (Maal) if excess..
It is so laughable when you said desperately that Usury is opposite of Zakath... Just pointing at verse 3039...
So brother is Sadaqa opposite of usury in verse 2279 as under... Just don't invent just to make your view look highlighted... But speak the truth so anyone would accept...2279 "Allah destroys Usury and gives increase for charities (Sadaqa) . And Allah does not like every sinning disbeliever.
So as stated clearly above, it very clear God instructs to SPEND that is to say EXCESS on many a group as SADAQA... so from where this ZAKATH came into picture... Bring a single verse which says give Zakath to such and such people.. Or spend Zakath etc... No way.. Nothing.. Quran doesn't even give a slightest of hint that Zakath means kind of Charity... Not at all... Throughout Quran Quran word Zaka is absolutely related to purity / purify / purification...
But Zakath is completly obligatory charity in entire hadith...If Allah can clarify in many verses to whome sadaqa to be given why not Allah clarified to whome Zakath to be given while Zakath apear more times in Quran than Sadaqa.. Yes.. Coz ZAKAT is not at all obligatory Charity... not at all charity..
And your second verse connected with salat and Zakath needless to say and there are many a verses in Quran combining Salat and Zakath... That's integrity and purity / purificatuon.. ie establish integrity and bringforth purification...Yes.. People spend your money on others give as much as you love while looking after the self necessity... But they all Sadaqa... Okayvleave hadith flowers.. Can any Believe who follows Quran alone tell whatvis ZAKATH and to whome it should be given if Sakath and Sadaqa are both Charity?
Tax rate.. Lol.. Well numerical subject is good one but not for this topic.. . Why not talk within Quran rather than these hard attempts. , follow Quran or hadith .it won't make difference for me. But Quran has reply for all violations agaisnt the Truth of Quran.. .

صَدَقَةٍ (sadaqatin) from root "صَدَقَ" (sadaqa), "to give in charity," "to be truthful," or "to be sincere."
الزَّكَاةَ (al-zakata) from root "زَكَى" (zaka), "to purify," "to cleanse," or "to grow."2.5% annual tax established at the time (they called it zakat) on wealth to support the system and share wealth with those in need; way to purify wealth, express gratitude, promote social welfare, economic justice, and community solidarity.
the root word "زَكَى" (zaka), from which "الزَّكَاةَ" (al-zakata) is derived, has been found in some pre-Islamic poetry refers to the process of purifying water, typically by drawing it from a well or spring. It was also used metaphorically to describe the purification or refinement of something, such as purifying gold or silver.
example, in the Mu'allaqat poems by Imru' al-Qays, he says
"وَإِذَا اسْتَبَدَّ الْمَاءُ فَوْقَ الصَّخْرِ زَكَى"
"and when the water gushes forth above the rocks, it becomes pure."while paying taxes with silver etc., what's the difference?

• سَنَةٍ (sanah or sanatin) - "year" from root س ن و (s-n-w)
• سِنِينَ (sinīna) - years plural form of "سَنَة" (sanah)

Brother NDP.. if your intention is to make up things out of Quran verses instead of reaching its true meaning then how can God assist you...
There is No physical Loan Allah speaks in the verses where Loan is mentioned... No one can give loan to Allah in world material and He is of no need of such...
Carefully note below verse to grasp what Allah says... All the good actions of believers are mateporically a Lending to Allah for which Reward is waiting from Allah in manifolds and it is a promise from God...512 "And Allah had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said, "I am with you. If you establish INTEGRITY (salah) and bring forth PURIFICATION (zakah) and believe in My Messengers and Support them and lend Allah a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way."
Isn't the above verse manifest? Allah doesn't talk about money or wealth when He says goodly loan to Allah .. Just try to perceive with reality...
So don't try to manipulate verses like you brought to substantiate. .
True meaning of the below verse is...5718 "Indeed, the men who truthful / sincere and the women who truthful / sincere and have lent Allah a goodly loan, will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.
There is no difference throughout the Quran that lending is not for people the wealth but lending to Allah believer's good actions collectively.. So in return Allah ensure a manifold reward in the hereafter..
Allah doesn't mind what a ruler or king or government does to gain wealth to run the kingdom... He is not giving tax rate for that... How cheap that understanding is.. Allah didn't send the Quran for Government purposes but for the sake of believers and for their right and guidance and for their wisdom etc.
Even for those who are in power (believers) Allah gives wonderful example as under..
2241 " those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish INTEGRITY (salah) and bringforth (purity) zakah and Enjoin what is appropriate / right (Maruf) and refrain /cease /desist what is misappriate / terrible /wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of matters."
So.. Allah doesn't say by the above verse when they were given authority make people Pray (Salah) and tax (zaka) them.. What nonsense? All rulers are ever ready to tax us fair or unfair.. What is so good here to say about believers who are given authority in the land to tax people. ... But Allah meant what the real verse speaks of as I elaborated above.. When true believers are entrusted power their solo effort is establish good governance that's to say keep the INTEGRITY in the government first and be role model to people thus they bringforth purification in their governement... And their aim is to Enjoin always what is appropriate to people and always desist what is misappriate to people.. That's what when the authority is vested in the hands of believers can expect.. But not compel. People to Pray and pay tax. How can one enjoin good and desist evil by compelling people to pray and pay tax... Nonsensical at its best..
So approach true meaning . And that is possible only within Quran and not from Hadiths and its practices or the language of Hadith to understand Quran.
But your life.. Do what you want.. And be responsible for your decision and action... Am I not free from your actions?Thank you.. Have a good journey with Hadith. .

Based on my research the concept of Zakat, which is the obligatory charity given by Muslims, had a broader social and economic significance beyond mere wealth distribution.
Zakat was not just a form of charity, but rather a means of establishing a just socio-economic system in society and the purpose of Zakat was to create a welfare state where wealth is evenly distributed, poverty is eradicated, and social justice is upheld. Hence Zakat was intended to be used for the welfare and well-being of the entire community, and not just for the benefit of individuals.
Zakat should be collected and distributed by the state, rather than being left to the discretion of individuals or voluntary organizations. The Quranic injunctions related to Zakat were meant to provide a comprehensive framework for the economic system of an Islamic society, and that the state should play a central role in ensuring that the wealth of the society is properly utilized for the welfare of all its members.

Salam again...
Well... Yes.. I am absolutely fine with debating with anyone who speaks logic and who would assist me finding truth in case I have chosen wrong option... So stick with Quran and reply so my journey would be easy... Don't deviate from Quran so I am not here to reply from Hadith...
Well.. I have clearly explained WA'ATHU its root... Just don't take it as GIVE in the sense from your side to other party.. But it has within Quran many meaning other than Give.. It has meaning of come with, bringforth, come, produce etc. You can refer all quran verses relevant to it.. Since you have taken Zakath as obligatory charity (a material) from rich to poor then what else you can take other than give from one side to other.. First correct your notion and find out the meaning of the particular word usage within Quran..
Even I think you don't get the exact meaning of Give in English.. It is not always A to B but B to A also..I have cross referenced all.. I don't leave space for error usually before I debate when I am on the right track from Quran...
Don't just take verse for granted when in arabic MeeM is used before a word.. For example Aminu to Mumin... Similarly verse 3335 ... A perfect verse... Pls everyone read the verse in arabic.. Even Arabs pls check... Here Sadiqeen is mentioned and Muthasaddiqeen also mentioned... Yes... Sadiqqeen here is without any doubt (Men who are truthful / Sincere) meanwhile MuThasaddiqeen here is undoubtedly (Men who are charitable /Generous).. But you NDP has either intentionally claiming comparing the MuThasaddiqeen of verse 3335 with verse 5718 which is not Charitable and the word used in 5718 is Musaddiqeen and not MuThasaddiqeen ...
Excellent example is Yousuf brothers in verse1288 " So when they entered upon Joseph, they said, "O 'Azeez, adversity has touched us and our family, and we have come with goods poor in quality, but give us full measure and be charitable to us. Indeed, Allah rewards the charitable. (MuThasaddiqeen) "
As I stated in the above verse any general knowledge person can understand that here the word is in fact not TRUTHFUL or SINCERE but CHARITABLE... if anyone apply truthful it won't give sense...
So don't waste time in useless effort with Zakath through hadith reference... Why not say that you follow hadith rather than play cat and mouse by saying just taking language reference but not following... Be honest like Fusion he says he follows Hadith..
Well you say those 100s of hadith on Zakath tax are fake.. Of course fake.. It's not Quran... It is invention by those who came to power after prophets era manipulating verses to their own benefit by taking people money unfairly for their own benefit and corruption but they would have made it look fair seeming.. Yes we collect and give to poor people(similarly modern day leaders start massive projects for the sake of people but they earn considerably)... Allah is clear about word Zakath. .it has no connection at all with Charity... If it is in dictionary of Arabic then it has to do with those corrupt rulers since they used this Zakath as Charity so impulsively it has become part of language... But not QURAN... No one can change the words of God and its true meaning... Yes.. You can take what you want but truth remains high and handsome..
Even how much you debate you will never able to prove Zakath is obligatory charity coz God's truth cannot be overwhelmed...
Bro.. Give Sadaqa... If you have friends and community then do it in unity as a concerted effort... All works. Sadaqa 960 is clear... Quran states.. They ask what to spend. . God replies excess... All these sadaqa... No Zakath... Yes... Keep doing with good intent sadaqa seeking Countenance of Allah thus bring forth Zakath (purity) to yourself.Bring your next negative point. I am ready to reply... When I open a topic I never run away.. Coz.. Only intention while open a topic is Either I know truth is gonna shine or I am gonna learn truth... So try to dump truth but you can't ..
Thank you ..
Note... One would think.. After all Sadaqa or Zakath they all spend from their wealth.. So what's big deal... Yes God knows benefit for what they spend but we can't belie God's verses... We can't make statements which is not true... For example my ancestors used to give charity called Zakath fitr on the conventional Muslim Eid. They distribute loads of rice.. Well charity... No issues... But when I asked as young boy their reply was prophet said whoever gives on this day Zakath fitr.. Bla bla... So they take Allah and Messenger for their action... No one is gonna survive by saying what Allah and Messenger didn't say.. Be it good statement or bad... If Allah and messenger didn't say so and if still one say that Allah said or prophet said then it is a blasphemy.. Huge one... Regardless their action... Waste of effort... How brave we should be to say Allah said while in fact Allah didn't say... Do we ever know anything away from Quran to claim that Allah said to say freely "Allah said"...we can always say Allah said only from Quran.. How disgusting you will feel when one says you said this and that while if fact you didn't say so... If it is disgusting to you then is it pleasant to Allah while you say what He didn't say..

What research you talking about bro... Research of Hadith? Or research of Quran?
I am not gonna say much about what you say coz what you say is mere yiur words not the words Quran... Or do you want us to follow Hadith so we may understand the meaning of Zakath... So.. In that case before you talk about Zakath just pls talk about accepting Hadith parallel to Quran... So once the matter of following hadith is justified then you can talk about Zakath... Coz Whatever you say is based on Hadith... But we are people who follow Quran alone that's to say loterally Muslims who accepts God's book alone for the success of here after.. It doesn't mean we are people who don't think of nature and take guidance from it.. Of course we do... Quran itself propel is to reflect on the creation of God which is nature .. Guidance through literal written book plus God's nature/creation...
So.. Bro.. What research? So you parroting hadiths and say researched and encourage people to follow indirectly... Do you have any authority from Allah to encourage people to follow Hadith..? If you have bring a verse from Quran so that's why you follow hadith so you encourage...
So lovely brother, bring a verse from Quran that recommends to follow Hadith so we will also follow.. So then we can talk about Zakath later....isn't that a fair call dude..?You have researched what? Lol..
So 960 Sadaqa can't upheld that social comprehensive framework? Why deviate? What makes you deviate..?
960 Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect and for bringing hearts together and for freeing captives and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the traveler - an obligation by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
See how they have translated the verse 960... How come they replace the word Sadaqa written in black and white into Zakath expenditure...? One thing is for sure they realized this verse talks about extensive distribution of wealth.. So they inserted Zakath to the word sadaqa... So God is clear Sadaqa is mere a charity and an extensive charity if done in an extensive manner collecting from people.. Otherwise why to lay for those who collect or work for Sadaqa matters.. Use wits...
Anyway God guides... If misguided what can we do... -
In Islam, the Quran is considered the primary source of guidance and the final authority on religious matters. It contains the fundamental principles and values of Islam, and Muslims believe it to be the word of Allah (God) as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the Angel Gabriel.
The Hadith, on the other hand, refers to the recorded sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. Muslims consider the Hadith to be a secondary source of guidance, as it provides specific examples and explanations of how to apply the principles outlined in the Quran.
While the Quran does not explicitly mention the Hadith as a source of guidance, it does instruct believers to follow the Prophet's example and obey his commands (Quran 3321). Therefore, the Hadith is considered an important tool for understanding and implementing the teachings of the Quran.
In regards to Zakath, the Quran specifically mentions this concept and outlines its various beneficiaries. However, the Hadith provides further details and clarification on the exact calculation and distribution of Zakath. Therefore, a thorough understanding of Zakath requires an understanding of the Hadith.
In conclusion, while there are different schools of thought within Islam regarding the role of Hadith in Islamic teachings, it is generally recognized as a valuable tool for interpreting the Quran and understanding the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Additionally, the Hadith provides further details and clarification on specific religious practices, such as Zakath. Muslims are encouraged to seek knowledge and conduct research to deepen their understanding of Islam, and approach religious discussions with an open mind and a willingness to engage in constructive dialogue.

Well you say those 100s of hadith on Zakath tax are fake.. Of course fake.. It's not Quran
they decided to call it "zakat" instead of "wealth tax" whatever doesn't mean it's fake.
do you think society can run without tax system or government e.g., as an anarchy?

peace,
While the Quran does not explicitly mention the Hadith as a source of guidance, it does instruct believers to follow the Prophet's example and obey his commands (Quran 3321).
Where in 3321 does it say that?
Indeed, in the messenger of God a good example has been set for you for he who seeks God and the Last Day and thinks constantly about God.
