    Peace

I struggle to spread true Islam. I tend to only explain it to a few family members and like one friend. I don't talk about it at work because I'm afraid of becoming hated on, perhaps Sunni managers and team leaders will dislike me and try to ruin my professional progression or get me fired if they view me as one of the worst people/ kafir/ hypocrite.

I'm not one of those people than can just randomly hand out leaflets to the general public. But as far as I understand, it's part of our duty to spread the message. So...the only way to do it is online in my case? I'm afraid of mainstream Muslims and extremists. What if I get death threats and what if some of those are real death threats? What if they try to track me down. The struggle is real.

I feel like the best way for me to do dawah is to upload surahs in the English translation and to give them titles like 'A message from God'...and then maybe give hints of Qur'an alone beliefs on some videos like pointing out verses that point to following Qur'an alone but not in an obvious way that would attract hate.

If you've done any spreading of true Islam, can you tell me how you did it?

      Three great sites

www.Misconceptions-About-Islam.com (good for those interested in Islam, or even "liberal" Traditional Muslims or anyone discussing any of the topics mentioned)

www.AreYouMuslim.com (great for non-Muslims, and even Muslims find it fun to do)

www.StudyQuran.org (great for any Muslim, has loads of tools to make Quran study easier) The Quran is our greatest tool, a trojan horse if you will.

If discussing in person I find asking open question are good, if a topic comes up. Open questions are good because they do not directly reveal your own position and usually make the other person think.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

        Salam Sarah!

At first, what makes you think/believe that you need to practice dawah as the other sectrarians do?

        Peace!

          Peace Sarah
The worst struggle I found is to work on myself with consistency and honesty, i.e finish doing my own dawah on myself..
I easily forget how I should persevere to learn more and submit humbly first to combat many doubts that plant their seeds in my mind daily. Yet I am still failing constantly.

Our hardest and more difficult struggle is against our own self mostly.

I am only starting to learn how to use GOD s best and strongest weapon-Qoran-.i.e trying to kill my ego is the hardest struggle .

I used to think GOD is talking about others when the words of opposition are used in Qoran like- Kafir, blind , dump, stubborn, arrogant...etc.. and all the time GOD was talking to me

Have you seen the one whose god is his own ego? Will you be his advocate?
          أَرَءَيتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلٰهَهُ هَوىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكونُ عَلَيهِ وَكيلًا
Do you think that most of them hear, or understand? They are just like animals; no, they are far worse.
          أَم تَحسَبُ أَنَّ أَكثَرَهُم يَسمَعونَ أَو يَعقِلونَ إِن هُم إِلّا كَالأَنعٰمِ بَل هُم أَضَلُّ سَبيلًا

Yes sister here is what I should do first and foremost with me, instead of thinking I am a believer?

Therefore, do not obey the disbelievers( myself), and strive against them( yes me) with this ( Qoran), a great striving.
          فَلا تُطِعِ الكٰفِرينَ وَجٰهِدهُم بِهِ جِهادًا كَبيرًا

Sister, I do not know about others, but I am still doing "dawah" for me.
May the lord help you with your struggles.
          GOD bless you.
          Peace
