If Allah is omnipresent, why does it say that Allah has a throne

I've never understood this? I guess some of you will say that God's throne could be metaphorical but if that is true, present some evidence to back up your point.
God is Omnipresent. This can be easily proven by the fact that everything in the universe is governed by a specific set of laws. For there to be laws in the universe there must be a divine LAWGIVER. For example the earth rotates around the sun and in it we are able to devise times for the seasons. The cells in our bodies and in the bodies of even the smallest of creatures all are governed by the laws God has written for them. These are signs of God's overwhelming and all-encompassing power over all things. For these laws to exist God must be "present" since he is the lawgiver that writes the laws for all these things.
When the Quran says "throne" in relation to God, think of authority. God assumes authority over all things. Therefore he has the "Supreme throne" due to his all-encompassing authority.
Sura 23116 So, Exalted is God, the true King, there is no god except He, the Lord of the noble Throne.
Sura 23116 Most exalted is GOD, the true Sovereign. There is no other god beside Him; the Most Honorable Lord, possessor of all authority.,132 God, Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see, then He settled upon the Throne, and He commissioned the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. He manages all affairs, and He details the signs so that you will be aware of the meeting with your Lord.
132 GOD is the One who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see, then assumed all authority. He committed the sun and the moon, each running (in its orbit) for a predetermined period. He controls all things, and explains the revelations, that you may attain certainty about meeting your Lord.
For example a man who has authority over all his subjects is the one who "sits on the throne". In this context it could be physically or metaphorically. In the context of God, God controls ALL THINGS, he controls the day and the night, the organs of our bodies and the cells, the seas, the sky, and everything on the earth....therefore he assumes absolute authority; an Exalted Throne.

Sura 2115 And to God belong the east and the west, so wherever you turn, there is the face of God. God is Encompassing, Knowledgeable.

No... Wrong assumption... East and west is creation of God and He doesn't live there.. We are living.. So whichever direction we turn God's attention (not face) is there..
Cuz God is watching at us, God is listening to us.. Nothing escapes from His vision.. It doesn't mean God is omnipresent in a literal sense.. -

Cuz God is watching at us, God is listening to us.. Nothing escapes from His vision.. It doesn't mean God is omnipresent in a literal sense..Everything runs based on the commands/laws written by God. And those commands are carried out by God. So if God "carries" out those commands he needs to be present for those commands to function. God is Omnipresent because without the presence of God not one command in the heavens or on the earth would be carried out.

Alah is omnipresent. Our creator is closer to us than our jugular vein. Our sustainer is all seeing, all knowing.
Look at the attributes in Quran they give a clear picture,139 "The knower of the unseen and the seen, the Great, the Most High".
Allah's throne is a metaphor, a descriptive reference Meaning rulership, No, our maker does not sit in a chair. nope does not have a face,
doesn't look like anybody we know, has no hands nose or tongue.God bless you
