Thaqwa.. What's it?

wāw qāf yā و ق ي
Normally stated THAQWA... Is this PIETY or RIGHTEOUSNESS or FEAR?
well.. big No.. In my thorough understanding it means fundamentally CONCIOUS / COGNIZANT and it has meaning of defend etc too but my concern is about CONCIOUSNESS...
In entire Quran whereever This word is translated as righteous or pious or fear should be replaced by cognizant / concious or it's proper forms ...Note FEAR or ANXIETY (root khā shīn yā (خ ش ي ) or (root khā wāw fā خ و ف is mentioned in Quran even to Allah and even Allah fear or be anxious and these words are different but not wāw qāf yā ...
Any verse of taqwa you bring I will show in sha Allah how it works with cognizant or concious... It makes much sense in entire Quran with complete verses contextually too..

"O mankind, serve your Lord who created you and those before you, in order that you be concious / cognizant."263
And when We took your covenant, and We raised over you the mount, "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it in order that you be concious / cognizant ."2183
O you who have believed, decreed on you is self-discipline (Siyam) as it was decreed upon those before you in order that you be concious / cognizant "651
