A similar experience happened to me a few months ago when I found myself banned from the site. Each time I attempted to log in, I was greeted with a message indicating that the ban was permanent. However, to my surprise, I eventually regained access. It's worth noting that access to your website is restricted in my country, so I consistently use a VPN to connect. This might have initially triggered the system to flag my account, interpreting the VPN use as potential spam. Thankfully, I'm now able to use the site via VPN without any issues.

I also was banned yesterday and receive this notice

"Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
This ban is not set to expire"

But today it's okay!
Just a technical issue i suppose!

It's likely a technical issue to do with IP. Best thing to do is delete free-minds cookie, cache, then retry,

or use a clean browser.

If that doesn't work you may need to try a VPN. It sometimes resolves itself
