    Selam Aleikum,
Without Hadith you don’t have a clue when to pray or how. There are some wonderful Hadith, of course not all of them are true but no one is saying that they are all true, apart from maybe wahabis or isis or someone deluded like that. I urge you all to look into it, there is so much information and explanation in the Hadith for so many things. And in the Quran Allah SWTA says to obey Allah and His messenger, so stop lying to yourself that that only means to follow the Quran. No matter how many Quran alone arguments you provide, they can be easily refuted. Some people do it because it’s easier, less rules. I’m not saying il start straight away praying 5 times a day, I might start with juma first because I’ve been on psych drugs for many years and I’m totally worn out, I hope Allah SWTA gives me my strength back.
Anyway, think about the judgment day and that hell is in most cases eternal.
    Thanks

You know, even with hadiths, you can't properly know how to pray.
And people don't learn the prayers in childhood by reading hadiths.
They learn them from their relatives.

So you can’t learn from tradition how to pray but you can from the Quran. Pray as a Sunni, do your best.in the Quran it’s written Obey Allah and the messenger. It’s obvious that you need to obey Muhammad saws as well.

Whether you can learn or not how to pray from Qur'an alone is a different topic.

I was only responding to your OP about learning prayers from hadiths among Muslims, nobody learns prayers by reading hadiths, they learn from parents or at school.

Except maybe converts who want an official manual from the Prophet himself. But converts are usually more royal than the king himself.

And if you carefully look how people from various countries such as Maghreb, Middle West, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, etc. do the prayers, you will notice differences among them, especially in gestures.
In some countries they cross the hands on the belly, others on the chest, others do not, etc.

Good luck if you want to start a debate on who among them is holding the truth on that.

            Exactly.

It is passed down via practice/precedent, which some may call "sunnah" or "amal".

It is further proven with the fact that hadith books did not exist early on and people were still performing Traditional prayer according to Traditional Islamic history.

Sadly, many do not know there is a difference between "sunnah" and "hadith", especially prior to Shaafi. And many are not aware it is a recorded fact in Islamic history that the status of hadith was elevated, especially after Shaafi.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

To practice rituals of any magnitude or type be they positive or harmful there are two ways. One is to practice by having visual experience the second is to read or hear something and learn them and practice. Whatever the way one may put them into practice they will be either Sunna/way or Hadith/written/hearsay. Sunna or Hadith, if they are on the wrong path, i.e., Not from Allah, then what is the point?

When Allah sent a group of Jinns towards the Messenger while He read Al Quran, they didn't wait to observe rituals and how to practice but they listened to AlQuran alone and left to their own community as spreaders of Message of Allah.

              @Ervin'
I know I have a bad mouth but, take my good side if you are interested.
Rather than finding out or simply following how to pray and how many times to pray since a ritual called Salah is being widely practiced amongst traditional Muslim people, instead and it would be better to research through Al Quran what Salah is and how it relates to Mumin, and why Salah and Zaka are mostly combined.
If someone is worshiping the Sun it has its sunna and hadith how it should be practiced ritually. Do you want to practice the Sun worship or do you want to find out why worship the sun and do you want to practice it or leave it to them? Be a detective if you love Allah. Would you be blind if your father was murdered without being a detective with all possibilities? You can if you don't love your father, but if you love your father be a detective and listen only to what is sensible and truthful. Would you ever be biased to falsehood against your father's murder? So why would you be blind against the Lord?

Yes you are right about sunna, I forgot, I was rushing, Allah SWTA healed me again, and they are increasing the dossage again. But Hadith are true, not all, and some are half true, half not.
Doctors and nurses and others know everything, even what I’m writing now. They are not a Christian hospital, if they were they would preach fasting and prayer, or to be healed by a truly baptised person.

Sunni Islam is true, one and only.
For those who don’t know, read my story in health and fitness section. I believe I had an illness, plus’s I was drugged.

                  Peace Brother Ervin,

                  Selam Aleikum,
Without Hadith you don’t have a clue when to pray or how.

We learn the salat from others, the prayer is from tradition like the clothes we wear.

There are some wonderful Hadith, of course not all of them are true but no one is saying that they are all true, apart from maybe wahabis or isis or someone deluded like that. I urge you all to look into it, there is so much information and explanation in the Hadith for so many things.

I agree inspiration and information can be garnered from stories (hadith) true or false.

And in the Quran Allah SWTA says to obey Allah and His messenger,

True, but we cannot obey Muhammad, the people of his time were ordered to obey
the messenger but he is gone and not available to us so we cannot logically obey him. '(

so stop lying to yourself that that only means to follow the Quran. No matter how many Quran alone arguments you provide, they can be easily refuted. Some people do it because it’s easier, less rules. Thanks

The argument is not between hadith believers and Quran alone believers it's
                  who understands our creator's guidance.

Both the words Hadith & Sunnah are in the Quran. Both of them refer to God's
Sunnah and God's Hadith. There is no such thing as prophet Muhammad's Hadith or
prophet Muhammad's Sunnah. Most the Muslims fail to realize that following words
other than that of God is defined in the Quran as idolatry (619).

                  God bless you.

                  peace

                    Peace.
GOD has one system and one religion. Qoran clearly clarifies this fact.

Why do humans divide into many religions and sects?
GOD has said that His scriptures and messengers bring the same religion from GOD - one religion of GOD- "
                    "Islam/submission to GOD Alone"

There is only one religion acceptable to God - Islam/Submission. Anyone who submits to God and devotes the life given to him by GOD to GOD ALONE is a "Submitter."

This religion is timeless and universal to all GOD s creatures. It is a state of mind and has only one authority and one source- GOD Alone-.

The only religion approved by God is Islam/ "Submission." Ironically, those who have received the scripture are the ones who dispute this fact, despite the knowledge they have received, due to jealousy/feud/animosity.... For such rejectors of God's revelations, God is most strict in reckoning.

Anyone who accepts other than Islam/ Submission as his religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter, he will be with the losers.

I do not see Sunni Islam coming from the messenger of Qoran. It contradicts it and has a different , human authority and source- Hadiths-.
Or where does GOD say His religion sent by any of His messengers is Sunni Islam?

When God ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied.*

Or did Abraham, Moses , Jesus... follow Sunni Islam?
                    GOD bless.
                    Peace.

Humans divide into many religions and sects primarily because of the complex interplay between cultural evolution, geographical isolation, historical interpretations of religious texts, and the inherent human need for community and belonging, leading to diverse belief systems that can vary significantly across different societies and even within the same religious tradition; essentially, people interpret and practice religion differently based on their unique circumstances and perspectives.

May I add, religious leaders seek power and influence over the masses for
                      personal gain.

                      God bless you all.

Sunni Islaam is false. I challenge you to produce one verse in the Qur'aan where Allah tells us to believe in or follow hadith or the hadith is the sunna of Rasuwl Allah. If you cannot produce a verse you have no claim.
