i put the MESSAGE in REVELATION order

Peace,
We of the Ebadu el Rahmanii have always taught that this Ayat means that Ibrahiim named us MUSLIMS, as he was the Subject of the previous Sentence. WHy would the Subject be Ibrahiim then right away the ProNoun(HUWA/HE) mean ELLAH? That would be confussing, as well as more in Line with the MOhammadan Tasfir.
Ibrahim is not the subject in this sign and how do you render ?wa min qablu??
Literally speaking, God has not ?named? you muslims. He has described/designated you as surrenderers (coining an English word) for Him. God does not have ?names?, only descriptions. We are not told to remember or mention His name, but to remember His descriptions.

They ask you what was made lawful to them, Say "All the good things have been made lawful for you, and what the trained dogs and birds catch, you teach them from what God teaches you." So eat from what they have captured for you and mention God's name upon it, and be aware of God. God is quick in reckoning. -

God is quick in reckoning. This is a typical incorrect translation of words and an incorrect concept has been fostered. The oft-repeated phrase is not enjoining mentioning the ?name? of God over anything. Dh-k-r=remember, remind, keep in mind, etc. not mention or pronounce as some have rendered it. God has told us to remember what He as described/designated over the use of any of the provisions He has given His creation. You will find that A-k-l is not eat but use or utilize. God is very specific and uses T-?A-M for food or eating and A-k-L for using or otherwise consuming. The ritualistic practice of saying "bismillah" over things is a misconception. The evidence in the reading is overwhelming and I will provide a full article very soon. ) In the meantime I hope you are following this understanding and I if I have the time I will address any questions you have that relate to this.

Khi- One of the meanings of the Arabic word 'Dhikr' is clearly '2 mention'. This shows ignorance of Arabic language. Consider this following verse
Mention(Azkur) in the scripture Mary. She isolated herself from her family, into an eastern location.
Does GOD want us 2 remeber Mary in the scripture or simply make mention of her? Obviously the 2nd since we r 2 commemorate GOD alone. Again the meaning of the word varies with context. GOD Bless! -
Peace,
If I follow your line of reasoning then we can throw Consistency out the window. Shades of meanings yes, remember does not change into pronouce which is what you mean when you say mention in the sign in question. It's still remember and it's an action not a verbal pronouciation. Try saying you are eating and don't eat and see what becomes of you.
