    Peace all!

I find history, archaeology, and mysteries fascinating. Even some conspiracy theories are worth reading, even if they're absurd, crazy, and outlandish. They can be very entertaining and surprisingly useful for sharpening critical thinking skills. It's probably very difficult to become an independent thinker, critical thinker, and a skeptic without engaging with ideas, theories, and perspectives one doesn't believe in. To be truly impartial and objective, it's important to consider multiple sides of a story, since most issues are more complex than they initially appear.

Conspiracy theories, ranging from science and technology, alternative medicine, and secret societies to economics and politics, rely on cognitive biases, logical shortcuts, and leaps that stretch or ignore evidence. Regardless, they offer a unique way to explore hidden narratives and question faulty lines of reasoning. Lastly, they encourage us to think more critically about the world and the information we encounter.

If a truthseeker believes he has found the ultimate truth, his search is over, and he is no longer a truthseeker. Therefore, the true search for truth is a lifelong journey.

I will end this post by sharing some quotes I like:

    "Always keep an open mind."
    "Trust nothing without evidence."
    "Believe nothing without proof."
    "Question everything."

      Good post Ronin.
Folks, I understand the spirit behind his post and I actually agree that exploring different ideas and perspectives can sharpen critical thinking and prevent blind acceptance. There is definitely value in questioning analyzing and not living inside an intellectual echo chamber.

At the same time I also realized something myself personally. Human beings are influenced by what they repeatedly consume especially ideas connected to God creation consciousness and reality itself.

For example when I watched Prometheus years ago some of its philosophical themes genuinely stayed in my mind for a long time. Ideas about engineered creators simulations and whether humanity itself could have been created by another higher creation which itself was created by God and so on as part of a chain. I know these are speculative fictional ideas but they still lingered in my mind for some time.

Coming from a technology background and having studied AI during my masters long before todays AI boom I was already fascinated by questions surrounding intelligence consciousness and creation. Back then AI felt mostly theoretical so seeing todays rapid developments has been both exciting and at times philosophically unsettling.

So while I appreciate intellectual curiosity I also personally try to maintain a balance between exploration and spiritual grounding. For me there is a point where endless speculation can slowly blur the line between thoughtful inquiry and confusion.

These days I find that reading the Quran more deeply keeps my foundation grounded and my faith more stable. It brings me back to the core purpose of revelation which is guidance morality accountability and humility before the unknown.

In the end I am comfortable saying I do not know about many mysteries rather than turning possibilities into convictions.

      Always keep an open mind.
But also keep a grounded heart.

      Trust nothing without evidence.
But also recognize the limits of human knowledge and faith in the unseen as Quran mentions many times our knowledge is limited.

      Believe nothing without proof.
Yet remain humble before what only God fully knows.

      Question everything.
But do not lose yourself in endless speculation.

        Peace all.
The human being is being tested. The true guidance is GOD s guidance.
GOD guides "Whom" He wills and sends astray "Whom" He wills .i.e according to GOD s just criteria.
Since GOD does everything, He has willed that the humans choose or refuse the guidance, GOD also keeps the balance of justice fair in both choices.
This means the effort has to follow the intention. Since GOD has the full knowledge of the innermost thoughts, He can filter the true from the pretender from the denier from...etc.
GOD s vetting of the individual is full proof. We cannot fool GOD.
Therefore the test works perfectly according to the convictions.
Aware or unaware, if we have GOD s message , there will be no excuses.
Why is this important in this topic?
Simply because we also have to keep the balance with our priorities. Too much confidence and the balance tips towards arrogance, too little confidence and we will be compromising with different ways that send towards"shirk/taking on other authority...
This means GOD wills has to go with our will/choice either way towards guidance or in opposition.
Coming back to being open minded, there are limits and each has to follow their own conclusions.
The guidance meter will be ticking,if one chooses GOD s guidance and our responsibility is checking/making sure we do not oppose GOD s commands/instructions and using GOD s message as a barometer to our guidance.
In short , stay humble, alert and keep learning and connecting with GOD Alone throughout our time in our Islam to GOD.
Let us unite and compete mainly in doing right and behaving right- Righteousness-
May the Lord keep us alert and loyal to Him Alone.
        GOD bless you all.
        Peace.

          Also for brother Ronin.
I am still wrestling with the scripture. And the learning continues.
May the Lord guide us and all our sisters and brothers in GOD s religion.
          GOD bless.
          Peace.

            Peace Fusion and good logic!

Thank you for your thoughtful replies. I really appreciate the insights of both of you.

For a believer, the Qur'an is the red thread that runs through all learning. This red thread consists of reading and studying the Scripture of the Lord, and of living and sharing its message with others for the sake of one's faith and ultimate destiny. It must come first and shape how one understands everything else. Other subjects such as science, history, archaeology, philosophy, and more have value, but only when they are woven into this red thread. They are not "ends" in themselves, but "means" that find their proper purpose when they illuminate, support, and enrich one's understanding of God's Word. If this red thread is neglected, what one learns as a believer loses its fullest meaning, and one's faith, though not lost, is left without proper guidance and is significantly weakened.
