THE PRESIDENT Good evening. I'm pleased to take your questions tonight, and to discuss with the American people the serious matters that have faced me in recent times. Moral dilemmas confront us from every side and the decisions we make define us as individuals and as the great country we have forged through those decisions.
Millions of Americans are saddened by the death of Terri Schiavo. Laura and I extend our condolences to Terri Schiavo's families. I appreciate the example of grace and dignity they have displayed at a difficult time.
In addition, our prayers go out to the Pope John Paul II who at the current time is facing the struggle of his life. We heard from news reports that the Pope was given a naso-gastric tube yesterday, which is made all the more ironic by the heavy discussions and legal battles we have recently witnessed in relation to this in our very own country.
As these events unfold I have been drawn inevitably to understand the extra-ordinary links between our lives as individuals and nations. The two issues I have just mentioned, I believe ought to make us understand that it is the small things, the small ideas which lead to the bigger ones.
Each small act of kindness is what makes the greater good. It is our actions and not just what we stand for that makes us who we are. Till now my faith in Jesus is what drove my actions. But now I'm here to say that it is my actions that will determine who I am.
It is therefore with faith in your good will, that I make the announcement that I have renounced my belief in Jesus as a saviour, and instead embrace the idea of our actions determining our fate. I thus accept that there is no God but God, and that I am a muslim.

Peace brother truth, I for one dont want to hear new speak, i want him to back those words up with action if its true. I will sooner belive that cows can fly than that. Look at his actions on the world, his connections. He is a skull and bones member for crying out loud, and one of their rituals is to lay naked in a coffin and tell you inner most secret sexual fantasies. If he promise he will not do any more of that. fine by me, only Allah is our judge, but for now, i view him as a transgressor, because he commits "corruption in the lands"

As Believers, we are Obligated to verify any and all information according to 1736 and some other verses.
Why is there not a link or something we can go to to verify the info you have presented? Also, even if these are the words of George W. Bush, I definately would not take it seriously....I would think that he would have some bad ulterior motives behind these words.
If you have a link you can provide us with, that would be much appreciated.

Yes it was an April Fool's Joke
As the day progressed here, news about the Pope actually got worse and worse. It's the 2nd of April here where I'm writing this now but I'd imagine it's still the 1st at the Vatican.
I wondered whether the news of the Pope's death would be delayed if he actually died on April Fool's Day.
My personal feelings about Pope John Paul II are mixed to be sure. I started reading the Da Vinci Code last night and was perturbed at the link of the Pope to the organisation called "Opus Dei" (God's Work) and their rise to prominence in the tenure of this Pope; and the mysterious circumstances of it.
It confirmed in my heart the abhorrence of organised religion and the hypocrisy it always generates as the allure of money and power eclipses any good or redemption.
I pray that with the coming death of this Pope; the leader of the weathiest, largest, and most powerful organised religion on the planet, that God will allow these organisations of falsehood to crumble.

He is dead but they wont confirm it until tomorrow i think. They feel it reflects poorly on the catholic church for the pope to have died on April fools day. They can't have the head of the institution of the modern day catholic church die on the same day associated with a barrel of monkeys.
On the other hand, it we are right and the pope actually died on aprils fools day, i would for one know where our sense of humour and irony came from with certainty
And truth, da vinci code is a good read i have heard, but take it with a grain of salt. That is what i have heard from other people who altso research into symbolism.

Yes I feel that he died on April 1 also but they are hiding the news. In fact the Italian media reported that he had died but this was denied strongly by the Vatican who obviously have a bias towards putting a favorable spin on the slow decline of the Pope.
They are using weasel-word style language to dress it up a little for the Catholic faithful. My guess is they will not announce it until all of South America which is Catholicism's dominant region, at least is well within April 2 - which means four to six hours time or so.
As for the Da Vinci code, the factual aspects are verifiable truth. For example above I mentioned the incident in relation to 1982 when Opus Dei became John Paul II's personal prelature (responsibilty as a Bishop/Cardinal whatever) because of a financial rescue of the Vatican Bank through a 1 billion dollar transfer by Opus Dei.
Yes the plot is fiction, but I'm well into the beginning of the book and its a captivating story. Sometimes I think, aha I got the inconsistency here... but the author is onto it and covers it leaving me to ponder more )

when you start to actually study these people and their behaviour in their natural habitat, YES! They are nothing but trouble and never where.
But besides that, its not conspiracy theory, its speculation based on a sense of humour, and my lack of compassion for a man who have conned billions into worshipping the sun, or atleast helped the agenda on its way.
