I would like to put another question to the forum members Would there be any BELIEVERS without the concept of HELL?

thought provoking question and I would have to say "yes", Diests have faith in God and doing good deeds and they dont believe in hell, here is my view on hell which is radically different from the traditional fire and brimstone place which I see it and its descriptions as an allegory to a particular state of the "self" which carries on into the next life http//www.free-minds.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2197 my view of the garden (commonly called heaven) is similar in the aspect of it being a state of being that carries into the next life

I take it you mean, believers in God?... I answer for myself - yes. )

There is no afterlife and no hell in Rabinic Judaism if I am correct yet the Jews certainly believe in God.
