Khalifa denounced two long-accepted verses (Surah 9128-129) of the Qur'an as false additions, portraying himself as a "purifier" of the Qur'an. He justified this by means of his numerical patterns and also by historical evidence he discovered showing that the verses had been added to the Qur'an to honor the prophet after his death. The most famous collection of Hadiths, that of al-Bukhari, does indeed say that the verses were only present in one copy of the Sura existing at the time of the compilation of the Qu'ran.

Hmm... and I thought the other messenger before was the "initiator".
Khi- Salam. The Muslim masses had abandoned the Quran Alone for 1200 yrs as you may have noticed. U know wht further amazes me. i was born in 1982 i.e. my ody was being formed but i dont remeber anything until i believe 1986. I have this feeling tht i got my conscience just as RK delivered his invitation to world leaders to follow Quran Alone in the Wrold News Bullitin in 1986. Man now i remeber it. That was when my real eyes opened in this world. Allahu Akbar. GOD Bless!

Khi- Salam. I agree tht there may have been individuals who wanted to follow the Quran Alone in the past as well but the universal call came with Rashad Khalifa and code-19 in the Quran being revealed. GOD Bless!

If you need hadith to prove a relegious point. Youve got it wrong.
