Peace all,
Recently I've been involved in a strange online debate between me and some Ahmadiyah 'Muslims'. They raised the issue of imams, citing hadits that claim 'Those that do not know their Imam dies in a jahiliyah condition'. Is the word 'Imam' mentioned in the Qur'an?

2124 And (remember) when his Lord tried Abraham with
(His) commands, and he fulfilled them, He said Lo! I
have appointed thee a leader(imam) for mankind.
(Abraham) said And of my offspring (will there be
leaders)? He said My covenant includeth not
wrongdoers.
