Importent facts in Quran
-
I'm an arabian women living in Sweden, where I was born. My mother is from Tunisia and my father is from Iraq. I was raised in shia-islam.
For about one year ago, I started debating about Islam in a Swedish forum for both muslims and non-muslims. Of course it did not take long until the "hard" questions came along. I had to find answers to theme. So, I searched the net and got hold of information that pointed out importent facts in Quran. It was a site constructed by Rashid Khalifa. I really don't agree to all his ideas, like the fact that he removed two surat from Quran. That's wrong according to my opinion. But still.. He showed me things that I'd never reflected over before. Things like idolizing Muhammed(saw). I started reading in Quran, really reading.. And realized that things written on that site made sense. I have never been able to belive in hadith before, because of how they came to our knowledge. Through hearsay. But after reading more about it I came to the insight that it was actually even written in Quran about it to. The only assignment
ascribed to Muhammed(saw) was for him to reveal the revelations sent to him directly from Allah(swt), Quran.
I now call my self muslim and follower of only Quran, Quranist.May Allah(swt) show us all to Sirat al Mustaqim.

peace Nadia,
Welcome.
Having an uneasy feeling about traditional hadiths is a common symptom. Many traditional Muslims (and especially new Muslims) have this feeling, but a significant number just go with the flow and do not do the research.
We need to tap into that, and show the alternative.

welcome Nadia and peace be upon you.
It is always nice to see another person doing some thinking of their own, and act accordingly. May Allah show us all his truth.
Peace
