You don't have to put your body through not sleeping for a day at all. Thats the hardest way to do it and risky as it will effect your health in the long run.

    There's no one method for exiting to tell you the truth. ONE of the methods I will provide;

1)Lie down on your back. Close your eyes relax yourself. You will try to make your body asleep but keep your mind awale. You will notice your mind chattering away i.e bills to pay, women & money etc.

2)With alot of patience you can stop that nattering in your brain which some people refer to as PEACE where its complete silence and nothing but PEACE. This is where your in a TRANCE stage I believe.

3)Now to the hard part. Your going to try to exit your body. One of the best and tested techniques is the ROPE technique. You imagine a rope dangling from the ceiling which your going to hold onto and climg out your body. You got to feel the rope NOT with your physical hands but your astral hands. Feel the texture and thickness of it. Climb your way out and pop your in the astral world looking at yourself lying in the bed. If you cannot see you simply ask for astral eyes and you will see.

Basically that is in a basic term on how to do it. The key is and the hardest part is the relaxation part. Many people go for the exit techniques without relaxing. You will feel the VIBRATIONS when your deeply RELAXED. Counting while breathing helps to stop the mind nattering.

Please visit the astral pulse forum link I provided above for more details explanations on exiting and about all of this as its amazing. Let me know how you get it on I would love for the skeptics to try this or anyone.

    PEACE

          Peace be upon you.

I am glad that I've discovered this again - just God telling me to go back to what I used to do.

I used to have OOBE's (Out Of Body Experience) conciously in order to 'get away' or find a better solution to a problem, or see a loved one, communicate. I havent done it in some time though.

A brilliant book is one by Robert Bruce, NEW Enery Ways. He has a website called

          http//www.astraldynamics.com/

There are some amazing techniques. It can be quite a slow process to strengthen your process, but it is well worth it.

I would be glad to hear any techniques that you have found useful. One important thing to remember which helps for meditating and having an OOBE is the two types of thinkers - those that think in pictures and those that dont. Pictorial thinkers can easily experience OOBE's - non-pictorials NEED to try Bruce's methods - they are very interesting.

          Bye

            SaLaM 2Pac and darcus

I was talking about having astral projetion using lucid dreaming. It is when ur near ur sleep stage that the mind can either slip into lucid dreaming or go into astral projection. For me personally, staying awake and then trying this has worked tremendously. I believe, that the brain is the enemy here. The brain doesnt wants us to experiance either AStral projection nor lucid dreaming. So the only way to beat it is by burning it out so that it has no choice to sleep. Its only then we can take advantage of this and achiceve whatever it is we are trying to achieve. This is completely my own opinion.

The other problem is, i have read many many conflicting data on both AP and LD. So i guess, its down to the person to see what methods work best for him/her.

Dracus, what techniques did u use to achieve OOBE's?

And what that might be? Would like to know that what can one do or accomplish by AP and LD?

I think that is a personel opinion. What can be done or accomplished by AP or LD. Personally for me, it does a lot of things. I will choose to keep this to myself. But how about this. This is something that can be done. And everyone and anyone can do it. Dont you want to know how it feels to have full control of ur dream? To actually make ur biggest and wildest and totally impossible fantasy come true? Loooooooooooooolllllllllllll . I take it you havent had any experiance with it. But when you DO experiance it. You wont regret it.

But as for your question, some people choose it for pleasure, some choose it for knowledge. Some choose it becoz they CAN and some try it for the heck of it )

                  Welcome All!
I read a topic on here by Lote Tree about meditation and how its connected to Salat.

The reason why I decided to make this topic is because I believe Atral Projection to be like meditation but its more deeper and relaxing as once you reached that PEACE state and silenced your mind you can leave your body and travel to the astral worlds and beyond.

The techniques used to do that are done after you have done meditation to reach that PEACE state. I'm glad that topic was made as it gives me a chance now to practice Astral Projection like I used to.

                  Any comments on this??

                  Hello 2pac, All,

Silencing the mind is indeed the one of the goal of Meditation. If you can silence your thoughts then you have already become a practioned Meditator. This is the first stage. But once you have mastered meditation then you can experience other deeper Meditative States during your meditation sessions.

My advise to you all is that "aim" to master carefully each stage of meditation as you go along, don't rush it. And perhaps it is not also wise to discuss exact details of your meditation experiences with others as this will become a hindrance later on, as the desire to achieve those meditative states becomes a barrier to progressing further in your meditations. Meditations can lead to "Astral Projections" and "out-of-body" experiences but I say to you all aim not to achieve these things but let yourself experience them as they come along. The more you meditate the better you become in controlling in what you experience and how progress in your meditations sessions. Meditations should not become a escapist fantasy rather a way to develop your spirituality towards that Transcendent reality that many have called "God", "Nirvana", "Brahman-Atman and Tao etc..."

                  Regards,

Some points for you to keep in mind.

1] You will be scared the first time. Nearly everyone is frightened the first time. As was i.
2] Dont try to WANT it too much otherwise you wont experiance it and you will get tired.
3] Each person works well with different technique. Try to find out ur technique. Its usually by trial and error
4] When you finally experiance it, dont forget to come to London and we can go to KFC Looooooooooolllllllllll http//www.geocities.com/bigjaxal/big-smile.gif

Bro, give me your input on this. When i first studing AP and LD, i couldnt understand the difference. Even now, many people argue that Astral Projection is nothing more than Lucid Dreaming only on a higher state. What are your thougts on this.

From what I understand and this is from research from going on www.astralpulse.com is you can go into Astral Projection from Lucid Dreaming so they're 2 different things totally.

Anyone had any experiences yet so far??Drop your feedback

                                Salam Jaxal!

I have tried recently for Astral Projecting out of my body but it takes time but I am practicing and getting there inshallah it will come. Your lucky you had a Lucid Dream. When you know your dreaming try to astral project(leave your body) and you will enter an astral world but I don't think you got to that stage as you said you were confined to your house.

I hope I get a lucid dream(lucid dream is where you know your dreaming) as its the easiest way to astral project as your body is asleep but your mind becomes aware/conscious.

Anyone else like to share any experiences they've had with astral projecting/out of body experiences???

                                PEACE

I have tried several times. Actually i experience it a lot, where my mind wakes up when I'm sleeping. I cannot move my body, but i can see the whole room I'm in. The first couple of times I got really scared and fought it violently. Woke up like after a bad dream sweaty and in a state of panic. But the next time it happened I deciced to go with the flow, and I have no specific way of leaving the body, I just do it. With this technique i have not exprienced anything as profound as jaxal, and have not been outside my area. But I belive it is a matter of practice.

During non focus meditation I often get the same sensation of my mind being awake without all the normal chatter in the cranium, but my body being shut down and unawares.

By using druidism however I have had some really incredible experiences on the astral plane and "seen" stuff that can be hard to explain. You know the saying "you had to be there" wich is very much the case here.
No wonder that people often didnt understand a word the prophets was saying when they had their astral projections (like Mohammads out of body experience) and tried to tell people what was on the other side. They had to boil something profound down to something tangible, that someone who "wasnt there" would understand. But where do you start?
You want to describe the color red to someone who is blind. How do you do that?
That the prophet's managed as well as they did, does say something about the caliber of spirits these people where.

I will continue to use druidism ,but I am venturing more and more into the fields of dream provoked OOBE as you guy's and eventually I hope that I can make a full shift to these safer way's. Becasue using poison to obtain it is a dangerous business, wich is why I always reccomend that people do not do it.

That said. I have been the dreamguide of a few people who asked me, and without any doubt's wanted to try the spiritual cleansing of e.g ayahuaska. Ayahuaska cleans out the body and the soul at the same time., Most people come down from it looking like the elephant man because the body is litteraly oozing with garbage the body dispose of. This state is usually gone within a day or 2. And if you repeat it shortly after, this will not happen as there simply arent any more trash the body can rid itself of. The soul when you come down is in total peace for hours, even days after. The ego is killed, this mean that the chatter in the cranium is virtually non existant. But I have guided people to experience themself from the inside. Something that is a horrible shock to most. We are not who we think we are. In fact, we are anything but what we view ourself as being. The indians called it the rope (that 2pac is talking about)or the mirror of the soul, or in their language Jaj? (pronounced hyajee) )

Sorry a bit off topic this last bit, but that is another way of astral projection. Be with a knowing guide if you chose to do so, so you wont get hurt physically or mentally. NEVER EVER!!! Do it by yourself without years experience as a druid/shamaan.

Thanks for the links, and you'r experiences. Keep them comming ). Now i have some reading to do on something that i love. Jazak Allahu kheiun

                                  Peace

What you had is called a Sleep Paralysis. It is the onset of Lucid Dreaming. It is also normal for you to hear voices or see images. That is called The Old Haggard Syndrom. I havent experianced either of them. But i would love to.

^^ If he tried an exit technique like the rope technique he could have astral projected. The hard part is relaxing the body I believe and trying to get into the trance state to feel the sensations.

One piece of advice naxus, dont expect anything to happen the first night. And becoz of that, dont give up. And dont sleep for atleast 20 hours. This is not neccessary, but most people got bored and gave up. Becoz sleep is a crucial part of this, it will be to ur advantage if ur body is trying very hard to sleep, while u stay awake. But be sure of one thing. When this DOES happen, the first night, you will be frightened loooooool.. and that is normal. Just allow ur body to get used to it )

                                        Jaxal,

Your experiences judging from the way it was achieved was nothing more than a 'hypnagogic hallucination' - these are often terrifying dream states occuring surrounding the onset of sleep...

"Hypnagogic hallucination are episodes of seeing and hearing things as one is falling asleep. These dreams can be frightening and can often cause a sudden jerk and arousal just before sleep onset. For example, you may see yourself falling and awaken with a sudden jerk, just before impact. As the subject drifts off to sleep, he/she moves into a state that combines the environment, of which the subject is still partially aware, with a dream-like state of sleep, in which he might see people and hear them talking. The experiences are often frightening. Sleep deprivation, irregular sleep schedules, and medications all can predispose to occurrences of this phenomenon."

Drugs like the opiates make these much more common.
