Is Love an Illusion?

Hate and love are human perceptions and, when analyzed, are just variations on our scale of emotions. Hate and love are therefore illusions, just as is existence.
Love is an illusion? And yet why does it mean so much to people? Even honest atheist find hard to discount love!
Is love of a child an illusion? Is love of another individual Illusion? Is love of God illusion?

In my opinion truth is a feeling, Love is the greatest expression of feeling and all other expressions are an altered expression of love. It is the same energy that heals and sickens, this energy is just redirected or misdirected.
What is keeping life alive, if not love then what? I have had jobs I did not love, they all decayed and fell apart. You cannot stand very long on one leg, eventually you will fall down, love is standing on two legs. If the Creator of all that is did not love all that is, then the Creator would not love its self, all that is. All that is, is all that is, which is obvious, an illusion is that there is an existence outside of all that is when the Creator of all, is all that is. How does all that is expand, through expression of all that is.

Love is the most beutiful state of mind.Because Love brings happiness and compassions . The only negative things when you are in love with someone is that you can lost reality.It's like you're living in a dream.Like you walk on pink clouds all day long.
But an illusion nah then would all feelings being illusions.
I'm in love with life right now, it can sound very strange when I'm in the middle of a divorce but I'm in love.

You can feel the pain of it as in Sweet Poison. And poisons are bad?
But all medicines are poisons but they can be still good for us?There is no BS in Love, only Broken hearted see it that way... -)

Allah swt has created us to have feelings as the five senses.
So to say that is an illusion is for me wrong.
Broken heart or not, Love is still beautiful and we have to go through it to feel good in life.
And why did Allah created us to having sex, not only for having babies because why then is sex a pleasure and lustful!?
Anyway is it any of you who have heard that song who really describe an sexual intercourse!?
I heard it by an accident because I borrow my daughters mp3 and listening on the train and suddenly this incredible song popped up and i felt very ashamed ops

Here's a question...besides the biological mechanics of life (eating, sleeping, breathing, etc.), what action, non-action, decision, or non-decision can you think of that is not rooted in love or lack thereof?
Why do you work?
Why do you give?
Why do you sacrifice?
Why do you compromise?
Why do you lie?
Why do you tell the truth?
Why do you learn?etc. etc.

It's very suprising someone posted this. Love is a real thing. Scientists have discovered a broken heart is a physical pain that is felt by the heart. To tell you the truth I don't know whether love is an illusion or an obsession or whether it is a unique feeling that cannot be described by words.
Love isn't a good thing at the moment for me in my books cry
