Life After Death: Torture In The Grave

Anyone of you borned muslims should already familiar with the "Torture In The Grave" (TIG) part of "life after death" (alam barzakh) and the "Man Rabuuka" and "Man Nabiiya" questions...
Does this concept / teachings "quranic"?
Interestingly the jews had a similar concept. They call it "Sheol" / "The world of the dead" and references to the "sheol" can be found in (Gen 3735, Gen 4431, Gen 4431, Num 1630-33, Deu 3222, Isa 514 and many more..) and the "details" of what is happening in the 'sheol' can only be found in Midrash, Mishna, Gemarra, Talmud (Oral Tradition), which of course includes many 'bizzare' concepts yet also many similarities.
Some scholar said (or claims) the TIG can be found on the Quran on
Al-Anam 93, At-Taubah 101, Al-Mumin46, Al-Ghafir 11The concept / teachings of 'tortured in the grave' (for sinful people / kafirun / mushrikin and maybe also murtaddin) while 'waiting for the judgement day', seems to 'contradict' the Quran, Ya-Sin52

They will say "Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose?"... (A voice will say) "This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers!"Which fortells the 'resurrection of the dead' before the "judgement day". See how the people / the dead are supposedly to be in the 'state of asleep thus awaken' and not 'already awake while being tortured thus awaken/raised'..
While the 'detail' of TIG / Sheol can be found on the hadits such as

Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib
The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "When a faithful believer is made to sit in his grave, then (the angels) come to him and he testifies that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. And that corresponds to Allah's statement Allah will keep firm those who believe with the word that stands firm . . .Very - very Sunnitic isn't it? The Shahada part....

Narrated Masruq
'Aisha said that a Jewess came to her and mentioned the punishment in the grave, saying to her, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." 'Aisha then asked Allah's Apostle about the punishment of the grave. He said, "Yes, (there is) punishment in the grave." 'Aisha added, "After that I never saw Allah's Apostle but seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave in every prayer he prayed."Interestingly, it hints that the TIG was first "foretold" / "warned" by a jewess to Aishah which in turn asking Muhammad Rasulullah her husband for a confirmation.

Just like to share with you something. When i was a sunni, i wsa told about this. I was told, the unbelievers will be hit with a weapon that will bury them in the ground 60 feet or something. It was a hadiths of some sort. 2 days ago, i had a dream i was in hell, being hit by this weapon which burried me in the ground. Additional info, the "paganistic" culture and religions (Ancient Egypt / Mithraism, Greek, Romans, Zoroastrians etc) also had a 'quite similar' concept of "sheol".
They believes the "sheol" lies under the earth (The Underworld), this belief is still traceable today in the western "Haloween" celebration. According to the 'myth'; on the Haloween day the gods, godesses and all spirit of the dead (which lives in the underworld) earned their 'one day vacation' to freely roam the surface of the earth. (Soaking their skin on the sandy beaches at Hawaii, Bali, Fiji, Caribeean and other vacation hotspots lol )Suprisingly I've recalled reading a quite similar concept like this in the hadiths.. a one day (or more) 'vacation' for spirit of the dead, I forgot which part or book.
Maybe opening up a 'travel agent bureau" in the underworld proves to be a very prospective business...
