A state of insanity provoked by the release of semitoxic chemicals produced by the body.

later it is to realise that the one causing all the comotion in your body looks like michael jackson on a bad day, in the mornings. And still want to kiss her.

    Peace

Hahaha, Ok what about love which does not include insanity. The more universal love, does it exist? The love you have for your children or any child, or the love you have for beauty and such things.

The love I mean is the love that does not change when the object changes. You say you love a woman and you want to kiss her, however, should this woman betray you, love would go with her. I wouldn't call this love, it is more like fulfilment to your desires and should there be no fulfilment no more, you move on to another more appropriate one. What about the love that lives with you no matter what? Do you know it?

Abstract like what? Like something you only hear about in fairy tales? or is it only abstract for you?

Not really...more like so subjective it can't have an objective definition. Love is way too presonal to be categorised, IMO.

Love is joke. A false sense of illusion.

                Salam Jaxal,

                Love is joke?
So, the opposite of love is no joke?
                Is that true?

See thats the thing. Love is a word used to describe a fals feeling. "Love" is as benine of a word as "Pen" . Only "Love" is used to describe a feeling which isnt really there. if anything, love is = eating box of chocklates. I too use the word "love" to describe certain things. But that is only becoz the world is so used to hearing this word to know the feeling being described.

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing

                            Love is patient.
                            Love is kind.
                            It does not envy.
                            It does not boast.
                            It is not proud.
                            It is not rude.
                            It is not self-seeking.
                            It is not easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrong doing.
It does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth.
It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres.
                            Love never fails.

                            But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
                            where there are tongues, they will be stilled;
where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

                              Peace openurmind,

I think that love like the gravity that holds the universe stable can bring peace and harmony to the societies we have in the world. If man followed the divine system like celestial objects then there would be peace and harmony as intended.

Unlike hate love survives and is stronger.

                                  Peace,

Although many oppressive societies have tried to stop those who love peace throughout time, the love for this cause has survived throughout time to this day. But obviously so has the opposition!

But the idea is that love/good prevails over hate/oppression and all the bad things.

                                      Peace,

Movies, books and religous texts are a form of art, it is up to us how we interpret it, as for the quran I get the idea that in the end there is only God (First and Last), and that is pure and perfect with no impurity.

Your interpretation of this idea seems depressing and pessimistic, I like to be more positve.

Love is great as a part of life, but not if it is the heart of life.
