However following anyone or anything other than God is still committing idolatry. I don't want to fall into the trap of committing idolatry hence my emphasis on that. So, why am I here then? Simple. To research on my own about the Quran and see how others have interpreted them and subsequently, in the light of God, take the best meaning and be guided by Him alone.
