angels -Humans who submit?
-
Salaams.
Examples 1.
In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time) "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! But receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!
Verily those who say our Lord is Allah then they stick to the straight path will decend on them (only on) the angels , ?do not fear and not grieve but receive glad tidings of paradise which you have been promised?.
The angels don?t decend but the inspiration decends on those who have submitted because they are the malaikaat/angels ? people who obey Allah.
He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying) "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I so do your duty unto Me."
He sends to the angels the revelation of his command to/upon whom He wills (of) His slaves that ?warn that no god but I so fear Me.?
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message) "I am with you give firmness to the Believers I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."
Allah inspires the angels as He inspired the messengers????????
Allah chooses messengers from angels and from men for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things).
Allah chooses messengers from angels and from men????????
Say, "If there were settled, on earth, angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for a messenger."
Why does Allah send Angels (812) if there weren?t any on the earth then ???????
??????????????????????????????????..Examples 2.
1649
And to Allah they submit (all) that is in the heavens and all that (is) in the earth of moving creatures and the angels and they are not proud or arrogant.
Aren?t there any humans at all who submit ? according to this ayah.?
Or are the angels humans who submit?
Allah offered the free will to everything but all refused exept humans
We displayed/presented the trust on the skies/space and the earth, and the mountains, so they refused that they bear it, and they were cautious/afraid from it, and the human bore it, that he truly was unjust/oppressive, ignorant? so how or when did the malikaat get the free will (as shaytaan ? an angel refused to obey) as from above only the human bore the free will ? I think!
And as We said to the angels "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis refused/hated.I think its only the human being with the free will to obey or disobey and everything else obeys willingly.
4112
Then He settled to the heaven, while it was still smoke, and He said to it, and to the Earth ?Come willingly or unwillingly.? They said ?We come willingly.?e.t.c

Was the purpose of this thread to show that submissive humans are angels or more of a question because the ayahs you posted opens up a pandoras box and brings up more questions than answers. I'm sure some verses need better translating and we may then get closer to the answer but at the moment brother I don't know whether angels are humans that submit or whether angels are another creation of God.

Salaams 2-pac,
"to show that submissive humans are angels/malaika"
just to help you to understand -here this may be more comprehensible.
Salaams.

Peace mz,
My understanding from the Quran is that Angels, Humans and Jinn are all seperate creations;
"Your Lord said to the angels, 'I am creating a human being from clay.'" From this verse it is clear that Angels are not humans, and in fact that they were created before humans. "Human beings used to seek power through jinn beings, but they only afflicted them with a lot of adversity." From this verse it is clear that Jinn are not humans. Therefore, we have three seperate creations; Angels, Jinn and Humans.
Humans have always challenged the messengers to bring profound proof. Especially physically manifest proof the like of Angels; "And they said, 'How come this messenger eats the food and walks in the markets? If only an angel could come down with him, to serve with him as a preacher!'" 257
The reason God does not send down Angels in great abundance for all the people to witness is explained in this verse; "They also said, 'If only an angel could come down with him!" Had we sent an angel, the whole matter would have been terminated, and they would no longer be respited.'" Basically, if everyone on earth sees Angels the "test" would be over... like handing out the "answer sheet" to a maths test for example.
The verse you quoted is merely further explanation as to why he does not send down physically manifest Angels to humans; "Say, 'If there were settled, on earth, angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for a messenger.'" This verse is just saying, "if instead of humans, Angels were being tested on earth, we wouldn't have sent them human messengers, we would have sent them angels from among themselves (so the test wouldn't be ruined)"
Hope this helps.

Hi nazz,
Malaikat = those that submit.
Naar=war (p582 QD)
Teena = A Soul ? of which the sense of shame is the natural quality. (Lanes 1906)
Salsal = To Utter (words) (lanes 1710)
Salsala = to make a clear sound (lanes 1710)
Jinn = warring agile nature.(who don't like discussions/salaat other peoples views ) (Qd)
Iblees = disobedient jinn.
Hama = honourable/protector/defender (lanes p652)
Samoomi = agile/rise or hasten to fight. (p1433)
Sanoon = actions/way of life. (Qd p274)
Faqa?aa = He twisted the sides of his mouth, or opened his mouth and was diffuse, in
Speech and uttered speech that had no meaning. (Lane?s p2427)1526
And indeed we created Insaan from, to utter of honourable actions/way of life.
1527
And the jinn we created foretime from/with a warring agility.
1528
And (remember)when said your lord to the malikaat/those who submit verily I (am) going to create a Bashar/one with a joyful continence/one who gives good tidings from (who) will speak (and) of honourable actions/way of life.
1529
So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of my soul/ruh then speaks to him be obedient.Humans ,now,can be malaikaat, jinn or iblees they are different natures of man.
Malaikaat = all those humans who serve Allah but if any rebel then he/she is no longer one of the malaikaat but iblees.Humans are therefore somewhere between the Malaikaat and the iblees spectrum.If you can't understand this you are welcome to repost.
God Bless.

An interesting theory, and it does seem to fit in places. However, we are told that humans are made from clay and Jinn from fire, so unless these are analogical/metaphorical descriptions then humans and jinn must be seperate creations/entities.

Salaams nazz,
we are told that humans are made from clay and Jinn from fire, so unless these are analogical/metaphorical descriptions then humans and jinn must be seperate creations/entities.
Salsaal = clay,and also means to be able to speak -make sounds/words.
Hama = means mud but also can mean being honourable,protector deffender.
Naar = fire and means war,so the jinns are people having a somewhat fierce nature and are not that sociable.
All i am saying is the quran is mistranslated once people realise this then it will be easy enough for any body to understand.
And i stand by the point Jinn=human=malaikaat e.t.c

Yeah, I agree. Can you shed any light on the following verse, given your view on the meaning of "Jinn"?
"One afrit from the jinns said, "I can bring it to you before you stand up. I am powerful enough to do this." 2739
It would seem that regardless of whether Jinn are seperate beings or simply states of the human mind, there do exist seperate "mystical" beings - Afrit/efreet/ifreet.
-
Salaam nazz,
its wrong for people just to follow or just start imagining in their minds i think some research helps.
here is my understanding though."He is just asking who can bring her to her knees - her authority"- i think.
2738-39.
He said O chiefs which of you can bring/draw near/join to me with her power to accept/agree that they come to me as those committed.
Said a strong one from the jinn will bring/draw near/join to you it to accept/agree that stands firm (apart), from your rank/dignity/place and verily I for it strong trustworthy.God Bless.
