Thought experiment on 'miracles'
-
Salam "truth",
Peace,
I'm asking members to try a thought experiment. If you could have ANY type of event ("miraculous") happen right now to convince you of the truth then what would it be? Are you positive you'd be convinced if it did happen? That it wouldn't make you say it's magic or a trick?
JK- I myself am convinced of the truth already by alhamdulillah the code-19 miracle of Quran but ofcourse it would be delightful to see more signs any time and i will cry always cry cry appreciate them. cry cry cry
Now extend it. Are you sure that if others witnessed that same event they would also be 100% convinced?
If not, then why not?JK- Yes suppose the rod of Moses reappeared and then the worlds best magicians be asked to perform their tricks. Then the staff is thrown and it swallowed up all the magicians false devices leaving them in awe. Moreover the same rod separates the great oceans so that skeptics could walk right through it would be awesome.
Try to think of a better event that might apply more universally in that case. Is there an event that can convince anyone and everyone?
Regards.
JK- Yes the above one would surely. Another event could be the self assembling of a space craft much more powerful and flexible than startrek with the phrase "Bismillah irahmanir raheem" written on it. GOD Bless!

Peace be upon you
I tend to dream alot about 'convincing' my family and loved ones. I had an especially powerful one which held quite a message for me.
I am sitting on a step, in front of me - stand my entire family, wife, uncles, mama, papa, brothers, sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, and even their parents (the ones I've heard of).
All that happens is that I am made of light - while everyone else has physical bodies. There is a human representation of a judge sitting on the step above me, and I am arguing with him to let my family into paradise. He keeps saying that they neglected their souls and would not be able to enter - even if they tried and that I should stop asking him to let them in, but he said that I could escort them all to the Pit of Hell and leave them there to say one final goodbye. At this point, pride in myself swells and I lose my light body and become physical - I ask for a trade that I will enter hell if all my family can enter - to which they are all pleased that I am willing to make this sacrifice - but the judge says not to be silly. The family then just keeps saying that they were sorry that they didnt listen with open minds.
Then I woke up.
I know that this was a culmination of what tends to be a constant worry of mine throughout my waking day, and I just need to let go.
An event like that would strengthen my conviction that I had found the truth. However, daily I witness things that make me confirm the truth I hold with the quran. I dont need convincing. The planet just needs a 'wakeup call' call it divine intervention, but with CLARITY, no ambiguity in the event at all.
Aliens bringing the same message as the quran - confirming the quran and following a 'quran-alone' style might be more in line with natural laws.

dThanks for sharing that dream man
Very strange bro I have read in the Quran some verses that very closely describe your dream, wow
I can show you the verses bro

I think "truth" is too subjective for there to be any one thing to convince any group, large or small, that there is such a thing. I persoanlly need no miracle as everything I see IS a miracle in it's own rite. What I consider proof would not necesarily convince anyone else (in fact I KNOW it doesn't)
What others need for proof usually convinces me that their beliefe is non existent and their faith weak.
I can look in a mirror, realize my physical self, and have my proof right there. Simple yes, but I have very few doubts and therefore need very little to cement my beliefe.
-
Salam,
As for me, I have experience the miracle happened to me. It was during my visit to Mecca, where I started to read the Quran in the language that I understand. When I read about how God describe hell, I become very scared. That night I pray to God to protect me from hell fire. I said in my prayer that I don?t want to enter hell even for one day.
After that my view about Islam is totally different. I started to do some research from the internet where I found Submission.org and Free-minds.org.
Although now days I don?t believe in ritual prayer and visiting to Mecca, but I know we can receive the guidance wherever we are. I try to tell my younger brother about my experience. I thought he can understand it as easy as I understand it. But to my surprise, no matter how I explain it to him, he did not believe me. He said that I am misguided due to the influence from the internet.
So, now days, whenever I have doubt about the existence of God or whenever I?m spiritually down, I just remember about my experienced. I don?t believe it is just a coincidence.
Regards

Peace,
I think its a great experiment for the miracle believers on this forum, Truth.
good idea. But i would also like to say that if people just take a break from their lives and care to look around them, they'll see thousands of miracles. Things that are clear signs of God's existence. Instead of doing this, though, people don't appreciate God's creation and look for glitches (supernatural) in it.
And i know miracles don't have to be supernatural, but just look around you, everything's a miracles. You don't have to wait. -
Peace be upon you,
As Pheonix1 said, the "miracles" are all around us, we just need to WAKE UP
As sawtooth said, "truth" is not sufficient by itself. Truth deals with the relationships of one thing to another. The question has to be stated "the Truth concerning x", then we can find an answer that satisfies that question.
Lastly, all one has to do is listen to your heart beat, isnt that enough of a "miracle"?

Peace be upon you
AhmedBahgat - I am intrigued - could you give me the verse references you speak of?
thanks
Peace brother darcus
Thank you for giving me another opportunity to walk through the Great Quran verses, I always enjoy doing it regardless the amount of work I have in hand, i extracted the verses that came to my thoughts while reading your dream and there are some similarities bro, I guess it may make you happy and sad at the same time, therefore i have to ask you again mate, would you like me to walk you through some verses that I believe resemebel parts of your dream?, there will be no stretching to the meaning of the Quran verses, possibly a lil stretching to link it it to your dream, i guess it will be over to you to see if you can get any link out of it or any messages of it
Peace be with you
-
Peace
I would be very interested in you walking me through the verses of the quran.
No worries mate, give me a bit of time and I will add my walk through to the verses I guess me and you should enjoy it, I really dont know what I will write yet, but it will happen while reading the verses and comparing it in great details with your dream
Peace be with you

Peace be upon you
I look forward to this.
My 'random' method of picking chapters from the Quran and reading them seem to HIT home each time I read them. Some chapters seem so personally directed at me that I have felt myself 'reeling' back from the experience due to shock because my dreaded pride takes over - then I have to humble myself. I constantly fight this inner battle of emotions and try to reprogram them whenever I can.Peace out

Peace Darcus
Sorry for the delay mate, it took me a while to find all the verses, as well I have to go through it many times to cut it short, because there are many verses that can be somehow related to your dream
This is not something I?m making up bro, it happens automatic with me to be honest, whenever I see/know something in life that is religiously linked, I hear verses from the Quran in my head, ?not the complete verses? rather bits of it, I?m not a Quran memorizer actually but yet many words from the verses keep hitting me, this is how I find the whole verses by just looking for these words that hit me.
While reading your dream, it happened, and I found I have to tell you that it happened, because the message should be important to you as it is important to me to know, in fact you should have priority in knowing it over me because it is your dream not mine, however I developed something cool in life, I can easily learn from others experience, this is tough to do, it is already tough to learn from the own experience, imagine learning from other?s experiences, must be tougher I say, still can be done if fully imagining and virtually living the same experience others may go through, I might have stretched it a bit but I will leave it to you to comprehend what you feel comfortable with
Your dream starts with
I am sitting on a step, in front of me - stand my entire family, wife, uncles, mama, papa, brothers, sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, and even their parents (the ones I've heard of)
The above resembles the Judgment Day, I?m sure you know that, but I want to show you how accurate this part of your dream, it is like real not a dream bro
And on the day when He will gather them as though they had not stayed but an hour of the day, they will know each other. They will perish indeed who called the meeting with Allah to be a lie, and they are not followers of the right direction.
(45)
-> You recognised your family members in you dream about the Judgment Day, and here is 1045 is telling you that this is what will happen ? ?, ? they will know each other.?, we have 100% match in here bro, i.e. this bit of your dream WILL HAPPEN because that is exactly what is in 1045
Your dream continues
All that happens is that I am made of light - while everyone else has physical bodies.
Again, it resembles a couple of verses in the Quran, you, being as light in your dream about the Judgment Day, suggest to me that you will be a winner on that day Inshallalh, we know the Quran told us that the believers will be winners, but it also told us that their faces will be white, white is actually the colour of the light ?close enough I guess?, for the unbelievers though, the verse says their faces will be black, I guess this is represented by seeing your family in their normal colour they had in this life, unless you saw them in your dreams that their colour has changed as a result to the horror of the reality they will be living on that day
106- On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black; then as to those whose faces turn black Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved.
107- And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide.
108- These are the Revelations/Signs of Allah We rehearse them to thee in Truth And Allah means no injustice to any of His creatures.
(106)
(107)
(10-> We read, ?On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black;?, for those with black faces (your family members in your dream), it will be told to them ? Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved.?, I guess bro that Allah will have a strong and irrefutable argument against them, especially one of their family members, is one of those with white faces. And that family member was a human exactly like them, but hey, this is what the ones with black faces will see in front of their eyes ? And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide.?, See bro the agony they will go through?, it is not the agony of knowing that they must abide in hell, but they will also suffer from seeing you and others with white faces and abiding in Allah?s mercy.
-> Allah can?t be considered unjust to them, because He warned them in advance and even one of their family members submitted to that warning therefore Allah is telling us again and again ?These are the Revelations/Signs of Allah We rehearse them to thee in Truth And Allah means no injustice to any of His creatures.?, IT WILL BE REALLY UNJUST TO CONSIDER THE BELIEVERS WHO STRIVED TO PLEASE ALLAH AS EQUAL TO THE UNBELIEVERS
34- Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss.
35- Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin?
36- What is the matter with you? How do you judge?
(34)
(35)
(36)-> See mate, it is the wrong judgment by us to consider the believers equal to the unbelievers when it comes to giving account to Allah ?Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss.?, that is you (inshallah), then Allah is telling you ?Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin??, I?m SURE YOU KNOW THAT REJECTING THE MESSAGE OF ALLAH IS UNFORGIVABLE AND THE WORST SIN A HUMAN CAN COMMIT? What is the matter with you? How do you judge??, See, that it has to be something wrong with our judgment, most of us forget that WARNING HAS PRECEDED
The sura actually continues further with this
42- On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able,
43- Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe.
44- So leave Me and him who rejects this Message; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not
45- And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm.
(42)
(43)
(44)
(45)-> Again, in the day of Judgment when you meet and recognise your family as we now sure it will happen, you will not see them happy my friend, you will see them ?called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able?, See how the mocking will be?, they will be called to get on their knees and they will not be able to do it, I believe due to the fact that they will be chained in addition to their black faces in addition to , ? - Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them;?, the strong point is this bro, they were called to submit when they were SAFE on earth but they rejected, now it will be told to them while they are already realizing the truth and they will think that this is the way out and when they try to get on their knees, they will not be able to ? and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe.? , this is a law bro, IT MUST HAPPEN regardless we like it or not, therefore me and you chose to believe then submitted while them, ? So leave Me and him who rejects this Message; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not?, people like the believers DIDN?T take the risk of being overtaken by degrees, from whence they perceive not, because the knowledgeable ones are the ones who know very well that Allah said this about Himself ? And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm.?
Allah has asked again Shall We treat those who believe and do good like the mischief-makers in the earth? Or shall We make those who guard (against evil) like the wicked?
27- And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain; that is the opinion of those who disbelieve then woe to those who disbelieve on account of the fire.
28- Shall We treat those who believe and do good like the mischief-makers in the earth? Or shall We make those who guard (against evil) like the wicked?
29- (It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful.
(27)
(2
(29)-> The whole point that those who rejected Allah guidance thought that Allah is just having some fun, but the truth will be quite the contrary when it will be revealed to them, He is very serious indeed b[]? We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain; that is the opinion of those who disbelieve?, and because this huge risk they took, they should be ready for this ? then woe to those who disbelieve on account of the fire.?, there is no way the believers will be treated the same as the disbelievers, it is a law that Allah forced upon Himself ?Shall We treat those who believe and do good like the mischief-makers in the earth? Or shall We make those who guard (against evil) like the wicked??, only those who endowed with understanding may be mindful to realize what is waiting for all of us ? - (It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful.?
The dream continues like this
? There is a human representation of a judge sitting on the step above me, and I am arguing with him to let my family into paradise.?
There is only one Judge on the Judgment day who is Allah, however I guess the human representation may be prophet Mohammad according to Barnabas, while this is not generally a strong evidence, the whole Gospel of Barnabas can?t be over looked and must be studied well
52- Dreadful Day
The judgment day of God will be so dreadful that, verily I say unto you, the reprobates would sooner choose ten hells than go to hear God speak in wrath against them. Against whom all things created will witness. Verily I say unto you, that not alone shall the reprobates fear, but the saints and the elect of God, so that Abraham, shall not trust in his righteousness, and Job shall have no confidence in his innocency. And what say I? Even the messenger of God shall fear, for that God, to make known his majesty, shall deprive his messenger of memory, so that he shall have no remembrance how that God hath given him all things. Verily I say unto you that, speaking from the heart, I tremble because by the world I shall be called God, and for this I shall have to render an account. As God liveth, in whose presence my soul standeth. I am a mortal man as other men are, for although God has placed me as prophet over the house of Israel for the health of the feeble and the correction of sinners, I am the servant of God, and of this ye are witness, how I speak against those wicked men who after my departure from the world shall annual the truth of my gospel by the operation of Satan. But I shall return towards the end, and with me shall come Enoch and Elijah, and we will testify against the wicked, whose end shall be accursed.' And having thus spoken, Jesus shed tears, whereat his disciples wept aloud, and lifted their voices, saying 'Pardon, O Lord God, and have mercy on thy innocent servant.' Jesus answered 'Amen, Amen.'Then Isa informed the disciples with further details regarding that dreadful day
55- Mohammad at the Judgment Day
The messenger of God shall go to collect all the prophets, to whom he shall speak, praying them to go with him to pray God for the faithful. And every one shall excuse himself for fear; nor, as God liveth, would I go there, knowing what I know. Then God, seeing this, shall remind his messenger how he created all things for love of him, and so his fear shall leave him, and he shall go nigh unto the throne with love and reverence, while the angels sing "Blessed be thy holy name O God, our God."'And when he hath drawn nigh unto the throne, God shall open unto his messenger, even as a friend unto a friend when for a long while they have not met. The first to speak shall be the messenger of God, who shall say "I adore and love thee, O my God, and with all my heart and soul I give thee thanks for that thou didst vouchsafe to create me to be thy servant, and madest all for love of me, so that I might love thee for all things and in all things and above all things; therefore let all thy creatures praise thee, O my God." Then all things created by God shall say "We give thee thanks, O Lord, and bless thy holy name." Verily I say unto you, the demons and reprobates with Satan shall then weep so that more water shall flow from the eyes of one of them than is in the river of Jordan. Yet shall they not see God.
'And God shall speak unto his messenger, saying "Thou art welcome, O my faithful servant; therefore ask what thou wilt, for thou shalt obtain all." The messenger of God shall answer. "O Lord, I remember that when thou didst create me, thou saidst that thou hadst willed to make for love of me the world and paradise, and angels and men, that they might glorify thee by me thy servant. Therefore, Lord God, merciful and just. I pray thee that thou recollect thy promise made unto thy servant."
'And God shall make answer even as a friend who jesteth with a friend, and shall say "Hast thou witnesses of this, my friend Mohammed?" And with reverence he shall say "Yes, Lord." Then God shall answer "Go, call them, O Gabriel." The angel Gabriel shall come to the messenger of God, and shall say "Lord, who are thy witnesses?" The messenger of God shall answer "They are Adam, Abraham, Ishmael, Moses, David, and Jesus son of Mary."
'Then shall the angel depart, and he shall call the aforesaid witnesses, who with fear shall go thither. And when they are present God shall say unto them "Remember ye that which my messenger affirmeth?" They shall reply "What thing, O Lord?" God shall say "That I have made all things for love of him, so that all things might praise me by him." Then every one of them shall answer "There are with us three witnesses better than we are, O Lord." And God shall reply "Who are these three witnesses?" Then Moses shall say "The book that thou gavest to me is the first"; and David shall say "The book that thou gavest to me is the second"; and he who speaketh to you shall say "Lord, the whole world, deceived by Satan, said that I was thy son and thy fellow, but the book that thou gavest me said truly that I am thy servant; and that book confesseth that which thy messenger affirmeth." Then shall the messenger of God speak, and shall say "Thus saith the book that thou gavest me, O Lord." And when the messenger of God hath said this, God shall speak, saying "All that I have now done, I have done in order that every one should know how much I love thee." And when he hath thus spoken, God shall give unto his messenger a book, in which are written all the names of the elect of God. Wherefore every creature shall do reverence to God, saying "To thee alone, O God, be glory and honour, because thou hast given us to thy messenger."
The point is, while your dream suggested you argued regarding your family, you should be aware of the following
From the horror of that day you are going to only care about yourself33- But when the deafening cry comes,
34- The day on which a man shall flee from his brother,
35- And his mother and his father,
36- And his spouse and his children
37- Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others.
38- (Many) faces on that day shall be bright,
39- Laughing, joyous.
40- And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust,
41- Darkness shall cover them.
42- These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked.
(33)
(34)
(35)
(36)
(37)
(3
(39)
(40)
(41)
(42)-> See, when the Judgment day comes ?But when the deafening cry comes,?, you will flee from the following family members ?The day on which a man shall flee from his brother,?, as well ? And his mother and his father,?, in addition to ? And his spouse and his children?, why?, because ? Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others.?, then after your concern is gone, you are safe and your face becomes white ?(Many) faces on that day shall be bright,? and you mental status will be? Laughing, joyous.? , you may start having some concern about your family members, because of their horrible status on that day? And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust,? and ? Darkness shall cover them.?, because ?These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked.?, unfortunately some of those may be our family members
Your dream continues as follow
? He keeps saying that they neglected their souls and would not be able to enter - even if they tried and that I should stop asking him to let them in?
I guess the above resembles part from the story of prophet Noah
45- And Nuh cried out to his Lord and said My Lord! surely my son is of my family, and Thy promise is surely true, and Thou art the most just of the judges.
46- He said O Nuh! surely he is not of your family; surely he is (the doer of) other than good deeds, therefore ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge; surely I admonish you lest you may be of the ignorant
47- He said My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from asking Thee that of which I have no knowledge; and if Thou shouldst not forgive me and have mercy on me, I should be of the losers.
(45)
(46)
(47)-> We read that Noah inquired with Allah about his son and how he was not saved with him in the ark ? And Nuh cried out to his Lord and said My Lord! surely my son is of my family, and Thy promise is surely true, and Thou art the most just of the judges.?, it seems that Noah?s son was faking his belief and Noah thought that he was a believer, this indicates that most of the actions by his son in front of Noah looked righteous and sure he thought his son was a good man, this resembles the disbelievers who may be kind and charming but yet they could not beat their arrogance and submit to Allah, (the main reason He created all of us for), in effect it means for the good deeds to be accepted the person must be a believer first, and that is what matters with Allah, therefore Allah responded to Noah as follow ? - He said O Nuh! surely he is not of your family; surely he is (the doer of) other than good deeds, therefore ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge; surely I admonish you lest you may be of the ignorant?, Allah meant in this bit that Noah?s son committed the unforgivable sin ?to disbelieve?, I guess many of the disbelievers are doers of good deeds without faith in Allah, possibly like your family members exactly. When Noah realised his mistake he quickly repented, he was a prophet, i.e. a true submitter to Allah ? He said My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from asking Thee that of which I have no knowledge; and if Thou shouldst not forgive me and have mercy on me, I should be of the losers.?
-> You have been told in your dream, they will not enter the heaven even if they try, and this also resembles the following verse in the Quran (to a degree)
To those who reject Our revelations/signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle Such is Our reward for those in sin.
(40)
-> Close to what you were told in the dream ? To those who reject Our revelations/signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle Such is Our reward for those in sin.?
It continues like this
but he said that I could escort them all to the Pit of Hell and leave them there to say one final goodbye.I felt from you dream when you said the ?final goodbye? to them that there will be a barrier between the both of you, ?a veil?, i.e. it sounds like you will never get closer again to each other and for eternity, the Quran told us about a veil between the Garden and Hell
And between the two there shall be a veil, and on the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks, and they shall call out to the dwellers of the garden Peace be on you; they shall not have yet entered it, though they hope.
(46)
-> A barrier between them ?And between the two there shall be a veil?, You can also see from the above that the people of the Garden will be rewarded differently and according to how humble and submitters they were ? and on the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks?
While there will be that barrier that separates you from your family, both of you can still dialogue together
49- Are these they about whom you swore that Allah will not bestow mercy on them? Enter the garden; you shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve.
50- And the inmates of the fire shall call out to the dwellers of the garden, saying Pour on us some water or of that which Allah has given you. They shall say Surely Allah has prohibited them both to the unbelievers.
51- Who take their religion for an idle sport and a play and this life's world deceives them; so today We forsake them, as they neglected the meeting of this day of theirs and as they denied Our Revelations/Signs.
52- And certainly We have brought them a Book which We have made clear with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.
53- Do they wait for aught but its final sequel? On the day when its final sequel comes about, those who neglected it before will say Indeed the messengers of our Lord brought the truth; are there for us then any intercessors so that they should intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back so that we should do (deeds) other than those which we did? Indeed they have lost their souls and that which they forged has gone away from them.
(49)
(50)
(51)
(52)
(53)-> Firstly we see how Allah is mocking the disbelievers, I guess they thought that the believers are idiots and wasting their earthy time (it is also possible that your family members thought the same about you), so Allah is exposing their stupidity (sorry bro), this is very humiliating my friend, ? they about whom you swore that Allah will not bestow mercy on them? Enter the garden; you shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve.?, See, Allah is telling them, those are the believers you thought they will never win, well, the believers will be ordered to enter the Garden in front of the disbelievers very own eyes. This is going to be really tough to bear.
-> Then we read how the Hell dwellers will communicate with the Garden dwellers ? And the inmates of the fire shall call out to the dwellers of the garden, saying Pour on us some water or of that which Allah has given you.?, the believers will respond to them with practicality, not with compassion as this is a law that Allah enforced upon Himself and told us about it in advance, NO TRICKS, ? They shall say Surely Allah has prohibited them both to the unbelievers.?, why Allah will do this?
-> Because they took ?their religion for an idle sport and a play and this life's world deceives them; so today We forsake them, as they neglected the meeting of this day of theirs and as they denied Our Revelations/Signs.?, AND THAT IS THE LAW DEAR BROTHER.
-> They certainly deserve it because Allah (in the Quran) clearly told us that this is what is going to happen on that distressful day, ? And certainly We have brought them a Book which We have made clear with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.?, but they rejected the guidance and the mercy in this book.
-> The book sent by Allah told us about the horror on that day numerous times, yet they said this day will never happen and hell does not exist for real, unfortunately, that day is the final sequel when whatever gained in the heart is locked and the game is over Do they wait for aught but its final sequel? , again when it comes they will admit their guilt ?On the day when its final sequel comes about, those who neglected it before will say Indeed the messengers of our Lord brought the truth;?, then they will start seeking intercessors (possibly you, if Allah allowed you) to save them ?are there for us then any intercessors so that they should intercede on our behalf?, they will also seek to be sent back for another try ?Or could we be sent back so that we should do (deeds) other than those which we did??, but as I said, game is over for those, ?Indeed they have lost their souls and that which they forged has gone away from them.?.
The truth of Hell has been revealed and all will see it with the eye of the certainty, its dwellers have been identified with their black faces, now it is the ransom time, your dream continues
At this point, pride in myself swells and I lose my light body and become physical - I ask for a trade that I will enter hell if all my family can enter - to which they are all pleased that I am willing to make this sacrifice
Firstly, we have to know that there will be no friendships on that day; everyone will have enough concerns to the self, how about the family members then
10- And friend shall not ask of friend
11- (Though) they shall be made to see each other. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by (sacrificing) his children,
12- And his wife and his brother
14- And all those that are in the earth, (wishing) then (that) this might save him.
(10)
(11)
(12)
(13)
(14)-> We read above that certainly, there will be no friendships ? And friend shall not ask of friend?, but you offered yourself as a ransom to save your family in your dream, I guess I have to tell you, this will only happen in your dreams, in reality though, it is going to be the other way around, your family members are going to be the ones who will ask to use YOU as a ransom to save them ? - (Though) they shall be made to see each other. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by (sacrificing) his children?, sorry bro, this is what is going to happen by your parents (may Allah guide them), not just your parents bro but? And his wife and his brother?, their silly ransom (you) ask will be rejected, so they will wish to offer all that are on earth as a ransom to save themselves? And all those that are in the earth, (wishing) then (that) this might save him.?, even if they can offer all that are on earth to save them, it will be rejected
Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers.
(91)
-> This is another law bro, ? the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers.?
See mate, I will never believe that on the judgement day a winner will offer him/her self as a ransom to save family members, it can?t happen bro, we are not talking a Japanese fighter in world war II who slams his plan into an American warship to die and be a hero, I guess this Japanese fighter was still an idiot with earth measurement, but under the judgment day measurement, this is a totally different story mate, I know it was a dream, but I guess some may think this can be a possibility, as a noble act to save the family, but if this will be accepted then Allah will look like a joke (Allah forbid), He will also look a typical human with our own standards, But this can?t happen because His law says No soul will bear the burden of another. that is why your dream ended like this
- but the judge says not to be silly. The family then just keeps saying that they were sorry that they didnt listen with open minds.
Bro, I?m sorry for the long comment, it took me 48 hours to put together though and I even cut it short
May Allah bless you and guide all your family members to His path, you have to know, Allah told us that any of our family members who are believers will join each other in the garden, sounds like a great family reunion to me man
23- Gardens of perpetual bliss they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation)
24- Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!
(23)
(24)Peace be with you

Peace be upon you AhmedBahgat
No problems for any delays - I couldnt get on the site for a few days.
Your description is excellent. Fear is an emotion I feel right now. Fear for my unborn son, my darling wife, my family. Myself above all else. You are right - it is only a dream - the probability of me asking for someone elses forgiveness is naive and stupid - I am sure that for all the sinning I have ever done and will do I will be on my knees begging for myself.
It is real scary.
I just pray that Allah can lift the veil of misguidance and guide my family to the straight path - just wish they would try to open their eyes though. The sheer amount of shirk that happens with idolising the prophet is absurd and makes me sick to my stomach. The sadness I see in the lives of family members is a result of them leaving His holy guidance. We all have a copy of the quran in our homes, yet very few people actually READ it. Sad.
May the dear Lord grant us all forgiveness.
May He give us the strength to fight against the dreaded sin of shirk.
May He guide us to the straight path.
May He allow us to see our mistakes and let us learn from them.Peace

Thank you Darcus
I'm sorry mate, I think I got the wrong impression, I thought you are a muslim revert and your family are not muslims at all
regarding them being a sunni, I guess you can't judge them as destined to hell, because you don't really know neither anyone for that matter
there are strong arguments against the sunni as well there are strong argumensts against the hadith rejectors, we donlt really know who is right exactly
I believe, the proper way to tackle this huge problem is to follow a fine line between the Quran and the teachings we hear and learn from other righteous Muslims
Peace

being shia,sunni,etc.. doesnt make much difference, cos belief is not limited to names or to 3,4,5 prayers aday. i think this vil not be big concern on JD. these were your grounds/belief now tell wht u did??
i hv a christan born friend, we were at a bar talking n he said he doesnt belief in God and all tht has happend is cos of belief in God., subject turned into astronomy and he kept on barking no God, no God. b4 finishing his 2nd beer, he said you know what. i believe there is something who runs all this, but i wont call it God. cos God wont allow this bloodshed to happen..... and so on.
forget shia/sunni. what about this guy! believer? or non believer?
i think the words have little meaning to our real understandings.a mullah, an imam, a rabbi, a father, a monk, etc. = humans, and humans all know what is right or wrong and for what wrong we didnt knew, we wont be questioned for tht.
we better start saving our asses before JD. instead of proving others wrong. i have read many good articles but at some point they say 'those wrong xyz said so' but this is right. i cant understand why ppl of so much knowledge and understanding do make these miskates of using insultive words instead of comparative work.

sure bro, that is why I read all opinions and only comment for the ones I'm inteested in, there is many other comments that i have a lot to say but i chose not to minimise the amount of arguing
and what i meant by my comment above that it seems to me both have valid points "the hadith rejectors and the hadith followers"
it is hard to be find out which one is 100% right that is why following a fine line in between is the safest act should be taken by a submitter
peace be with you
