so much confusion regarding this .
KABA is anything prominent ? i.e. a swelling/joints/anklebone or the head when talking about the hardest part of a person.
In case of the virginity/age of a young girl it?s her Breasts ? how plum or big they may be.
In mathematics it?s a squire shape.But Allah is talking about benefiting people preserving herds of animals so they grow in number thereby be maintenance for the future.
Just look at this ayah
595
O you who believe (do) not you kill game when you are in (state) forbidding and whosoever killed it intentionally then penalty (is) like what he killed of cattle judged by two just men among you for guidance as to the age of the (prominent thing) animal killed (KABATI) or expiation feeding (of) needy or equivalent (to) that fasting that he tastes and grieves (of) his deed ????.AIDIDS EXPLANATION
Do not violate God?s decrees (sha?iral-lah), and the restricted months (on hunting), and the guidance (about hunting), and the indicators (of hunting) and the restrictions in the system (bai-tal-harama) when seeking the grace and pleasure of God. But when they are permitted (halal-tum), you may hunt. Do not be provoked by the enmity of those who prevent you from submitting to the sanctions of the submission (anil-mas-jidil-harami) and do not aggress. Cooperate with each other in righteous deeds and piety, and do not cooperate with those committing sins and aggression. (Chapter 5 Verse 2)However, if we kill the wildlife during the restricted months (shah-rul-harrama) on purpose, the food is still permitted for us to eat, but we pay a fine.
O you who believe do not kill the wildlife when you are restricted (hurumun). If anyone kills on purpose, he shall expiate with an equivalent livestock to be judged by two equitable men from among you as guides to determine the ?ankles? (ka?bati). Or expiating by feeding the poor or atonement for it by fasting, so that he feels the consequences of his actions. God has pardoned his previous offences. Whoever reverts to his offence, God will avenge from him. God is almighty, avenger. (Chapter 5 Verse 95).
In the following two ayah?s Allah has used property and the kaaba in the same way to tell us what they are for Maintenance /benefits.
The word used for describing this is QIYAMAN.
WALA TU/TOO ALSSUFAHAAAMWALAKUMU ALLATEE JAAAALA ALLAHU LAKUM QIYAMANWAORZUQOOHUM FEEHA WAOKSOOHUM WAQOOLOO LAHUMQAWLAN MAAAROOFAN
TO THOSE WEAK OF UNDERSTANDING MAKE NOT OVER YOUR PROPERTY, WHICH ALLAH HATH MADE A MEANS OF SUPPORT/BENEFITS FOR YOU, BUT FEED AND CLOTHES THEM THEREWITH, AND SPEAKS TO THEM WORDS OF KINDNESS AND JUSTICE.
JAAAALA ALLAHU ALKAAABATA ALBAYTA ALHARAMAQIYAMAN LILNNASI WAALSHSHAHRA ALHARAMAWAALHADYA WAALQALA-IDA THALIKALITAAALAMOO ANNA ALLAHA YAAALAMU MA FEE ALSSAMAWATIWAMA FEE AL-ARDI WAANNA ALLAHA BIKULLISHAY-IN AAALEEMUN
ALLAH MADE THE KA'BA, THE SACRED HOUSE, AS A SOURCE OF MAINTEINANCE /BENEFITS FOR MEN, AS ALSO THE SACRED MONTH THE gUIDANCE, AND THE WATERING of THEM THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT ALLAH HATH KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT IS IN THE HEAVENS AND ON EARTH AND THAT ALLAH IS WELL ACQUAINTED WITH ALL THINGS.
What is there that Allah has made a source of support/maintainance for us
LIYASHHADOO MANAFIAAA LAHUM WAYATHKUROOISMA ALLAHI FEE AYYAMIN MAAALOOMATIN AAALAMA RAZAQAHUM MIN BAHEEMATI AL-ANAAAMI FAKULOO MINHAWAATAAIMOO ALBA-ISA ALFAQEERA
"THAT THEY MAY WITNESS THE BENEFITS (PROVIDED) FOR THEM, AND CELEBRATE THE NAME OF ALLAH, THROUGH THE DAYS APPOINTED, OVER THE CATTLE WHICH HE HAS PROVIDED FOR THEM (FOR SACRIFICE) THEN EAT YE THEREOF AND FEED THE DISTRESSED ONES IN WANT.
2.LAKUM FEEHA MANAFIAAU ILAAJALIN MUSAMMAN THUMMA MAHILLUHA ILA ALBAYTIALAAATEEQI
IN THEM YE HAVE BENEFITS FOR A TERM APPOINTED IN THE END THEIR PLACE OF SACRIFICE IS NEAR THE ANCIENT HOUSE.
3.WA-INNA LAKUM FEE AL-ANAAAMILAAAIBRATAN NUSQEEKUM MIMMA FEE BUTOONIHAWALAKUM FEEHA MANAFIAAU KATHEERATUN WAMINHATA/KULOONA
AND IN CATTLE (TOO) YE HAVE AN INSTRUCTIVE EXAMPLE FROM WITHIN THEIR BODIES WE PRODUCE (MILK) FOR YOU TO DRINK; THERE ARE, IN THEM, (BESIDES), NUMEROUS (OTHER) BENEFITS FOR YOU; AND OF THEIR (MEAT) YE EAT;
4.WALAHUM FEEHA MANAFIAAU WAMASHARIBUAFALA YASHKUROONA
AND THEY HAVE (OTHER) PROFITS FROM THEM (BESIDES), AND THEY GET (MILK) TO DRINK. WILL THEY NOT THEN BE GRATEFUL?
5.WALAKUM FEEHA MANAFIAAUWALITABLUGHOO AAALAYHA HAJATAN FEE SUDOORIKUMWAAAALAYHA WAAAALA ALFULKI TUHMALOONA
AND THERE ARE (OTHER) ADVANTAGES IN THEM FOR YOU (BESIDES); THAT YE MAY THROUGH THEM ATTAIN TO ANY NEED (THERE MAY BE) IN YOUR HEARTS; AND ON THEM AND ON SHIPS YE ARE CARRIED.
This is what Abraham had herds of - to support people and he told the people to do likewise also.
And they are the FORBIDDEN HOUSE just plain old sheep/goats ? and fortunately you just need to stop killing them as they are growing and eventually you have herds of them for the future maintenance. ? I THINK.

O our lord verily I have made to dwell some of my offspring in a valley not with cultivation with your house the forbidden /forbidden for hunting O our lord in order that they may offer perfectly advice/ counselling (of animal breading/herding) so make hearts among mankind love towards them and provide them with fruits/gains so that they may give thanks.Salaams.
