Big loud speakers of the tiny little local Mosque
-
We just moved to the UAE...
There is a very small Mosque in front of our villa that has big speakers... Since my wife and I moved here, the Prayer call wakes us up every single morning and disturb us the rest of the day every time the Imam calls for the Prayer...
Is so loud that the windows are shaking...
I am seeking a way to have the Imam, local autorities or even the Sharia Court to lower the volume by at least half so that we could enjoy our new life here...
The owner, a UAE citizen, told me that he spoke to the Imam... But it seems worst then ever since that particular day...
It is company accomodations, we have to stay here for at least one year...
If anyone have a good advice regarding that matter, I would greatly appreciate!?

I guess you can give him this Quran verse that clearly advice us to lower our voices because the most hateful of voices is braying of the donkies, it is a metaphor of not making noises with loud voices
And pursue the right course in your going about and lower your voice; surely the most hateful of voices is braying of the donkies.

Nice one Ahmed. lol
welcome Mohamed. I feel for you, but the only thing I can think of is ear plugs. These guys believe in having mosques within a couple of yards from each other. Each trying to beat the other in loudness and bigger crowds. I would be really surprised.
All the best anyways.

Thank you Gentlemen,
We are already using ear plugs for sleeping but without success... We still ear the Prayer call from the Imam!
Now, if we have to use ear plugs when my wife and I are working at home, having a romantic dinner or watching a movie, it is far from a perfect life!?
Is is terrible to have to suffer such a thing...
