According to our will or Gods?or both?

Fahazamoohum bi-ithni Allahiwaqatala dawoodu jaloota waatahu Allahualmulka waalhikmata waAAallamahu mimma yashaowalawla dafAAu Allahi alnnasa baAAdahumbibaAAdin lafasadati al-ardu walakinna Allahathoo fadlin AAala alAAalameena
By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.
Taught him According to whose will/wish/desire , Allah or Solomon?

Do not like those who disbelieved among the people of the scripture nor polytheists that should be sent down upon you any good from your lord but Allah singles out/selects with His Mercy who whoever willed/wished/desired , for Allah is lord of grace abounding.Allah singles out who wills? Or is it who He wills?
Sayaqoolu alssufahao mina alnnasima wallahum AAan qiblatihimu allatee kanooAAalayha qul lillahi almashriqu waalmaghribuyahdee man yashao ila siratinmustaqeemin
The fools among the people will say "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say To Allah belong both east and West He guideth who wills to a Way that is straight.
Yu/tee alhikmata man yashaowaman yu/ta alhikmata faqad ootiya khayran katheeran wamayaththakkaru illa oloo al-albabi
He granteth wisdom to whom He pleaseth; and he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing; but none will grasp the Message but men of understanding.
Or
He granteth wisdom to who (ever) wills; and he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing; but none will grasp the Message but men of understanding.
Don?t us lot have a free will to choose to have wisdom and not have wisdom?
