but thanks for remembering me....hope to be contributing soon..)
peace bro

Peace,
Thanks Tay and Elke for the reminder wink
I had been off for the holidays and coming back have had some family and health problems to deal with...lately I've been preoccupied with time being short and the overwhelming need to think about the 'end of days' so to say...to DO something, anything and give back for all the blessings that we have been given...I think its the '30' year mark coming up in a couple of years that has gotten to me )
Out of the others in the list, I can vouch for neo being okay and watching more tv than is good for him (you know you do that!). I dare say sabo is good too, just not into posting much...david I wish would post more but I think I know why it's not that often! P
Hopefully I'll be back in the groove soon...

Peace be upon you,
Glad to hear from those who responded.
It does seem very empty in here lately, cant seem to gather the variety of discussion we used to have. But all things have an ebb and flow, so I guess I'll just be patient and wait for the cycles to change.

Hello Tay, All,
I have not gone missing. I just been very busy with my work lately and as a result had not the time to read or participate on the forum - though many times I have been tempted to come and join you all but I knew my work would suffer! Today is the first day off I had for a while!! Sometimes we need to put aside the things we enjoy most so that we can concentrate on other things like making a living!!!...but I have some free time coming up so will join you all soon...
I hope you are well and those people that are still missing I hope they are well too...
Regards,
Lote-Tree

If you ever need a somewhat anonymous person to vent to, please feel free to PM me. I'm a good listener.I've been preoccupied with time being short and the overwhelming need to think about the 'end of days' so to say...to DO something, anything and give back for all the blessings that we have been given...I think its the '30' year mark coming up in a couple of years that has gotten to me
Direction is always important, and giving back is surely a noble desire. Just keep in mind that we don't necessarily have to be Mother Theresa types to fulfill our need for contributing. Lots of little things every day amount to a pretty big chunk of goodness. One of the hadiths I actually enjoy "Even a smile is charity"

It's good to hear they're doing well. Please send my regards, and a reminder that if it is the quality of the content lately that's discouraging them, then we need them back here to improve that.
Hopefully I'll be back in the groove soon...
Looking forward to it.

Peace Tay, Elke, all.....
Well, conceivably I'm still around since I do visit the forum every so often to see what's crackin'. The forum can serve as a great learning tool. I just feel better about reading some of the posts and not making posts myself.
I do miss alot of you guys and I think of you all often. )
Salaam,

Peace Tay,
I hope all is well

I will take you up on the offer too!Direction is always important, and giving back is surely a noble desire. Agree completely. Many times we make the mistake of fluctuating between extremes. Moderation and balance are hard to achieve and that is what is needed badly when we talk about giving. Everyone has a part to play and we can't expect to leave off everything and go hiking through the wild if there are previous responsibilities. That's good advice my friend and I thank you for sharing it, made me think.
It's good to hear they're doing well. Please send my regards, and a reminder that if it is the quality of the content lately that's discouraging them, then we need them back here to improve that.
Heh, that just might be it...I swear if I hear the words "native arabic speaker" in a post yet again within the same week... I'm going to try gourmet rat poison. I'll convey the message tho' gladly!
Best wishes,
Nadia -
Hi SC,
i am not a
native arabic speakerMe too )
SC, should I spell those words too? wink
''I an not a native arabic speaker'' but please dont use rat poison )
Just kidding, though I get what u mean. some other words that are getting on my nerves too include 'phd' and 'scientist'. rollNo offence meant to anyone though.

Dammit phoenix! I was expecting a retort from someone whose blacklist I am on...you jumped the gun! I'm now going to try and find some gourmet rat poison if it exists wink
-
Hey PM, peace!
I know...I have tried to make sense of what's going on the other threads ...maybe someday I too will find this elusive evidence or lack thereof! lol

Salam,
Did anybody know what happened to hafiz kazee? I really miss his post.
Regards.
Yeah where's brother Hafeez Kazi? He doesn't reply his pm's too. I'm anxious about him, he lived in India where a big earthquake hit recently. I hope he's ok.
Anyone in this forum who is still in contact with him?
Salaam

Hello All,
Good to have you back, Mr. Tree
Thank you very much -)
some other words that are getting on my nerves too include 'phd' and 'scientist'. roll
Peace!Oh PM....I am unfortunately a scientist too -(
(i shall not mentioned the Phd bit... -( )Regards,

Hi SC,
Alive and kicking? wink
Hey PM, peace!
I know...I have tried to make sense of what's going on the other threads ...maybe someday I too will find this elusive evidence or lack thereof! lol
Good to know that u have been reading. As far as 'making sense' is concerned, the discussion gets dragged unneccesarily, I guess, especially on that one.
There are people working on it and I guess we can look for more evidence in due time. But whatever has been claimed has been backed up by enough evidence. And U should post more often. Its nice to have more of interesting input.
Peace!
-
Hi Lotetree,
some other words that are getting on my nerves too include 'phd' and 'scientist'. roll
Peace!Oh PM....I am unfortunately a scientist too -(
(i shall not mentioned the Phd bit... -( )WHAT? U a scientist? shock
WHEN ? HOW ? WHY? twisted
Just kidding P
Anyways, how are u a scientist? And that being beside the point, U dont happen to mention the two words 'phd' and 'scientist' in almost every post of urs, do u? wink especially to authenticate all that u say?wink
(again, No offence meant to anyone)
Peace!

Peace Nadia,
You stated
Being a good listener is just one of your many talents
oops
I'm humbled, sis. Thank you.I will take you up on the offer too!
Please do, anytime.
Many times we make the mistake of fluctuating between extremes. Moderation and balance are hard to achieve and that is what is needed badly when we talk about giving. Everyone has a part to play and we can't expect to leave off everything and go hiking through the wild if there are previous responsibilities. Exactly!!
I try my best to follow the 10 foot radius rule. Everyone or everything within 10 feet of me at any point in time is my resposibility. If I see injustice, I try to address it. If I see pain, I try to soothe. If someone needs a hug, I'm a hug machine. If someone just wants to talk, I listen. If everyone follows the 10 foot rule, then everything will be more than alright.I swear if I hear the words "native arabic speaker" in a post yet again within the same week...
I hear ya. But, I honestly have no beef with any posters here. Everyone contributes in their own way. As Kyle said, there is certainly an ebb and flow to things. We just have to do our best not to let things sway too far in one direction as a result of discouragement.
Peace,
Tay
