I remember reading a scholarly article once, where the author mentioned something about the story of Lut in the Qur'an in a more open-minded way, with additional evidences from the Qur'an about human diversity (3022) and how everyone acts according to their disposition (1784) and also that the Qur'an just "assumes" the majority of the listeners/readers are heterosexual.. i don't know.. I would say maybe the Qur'an "acknowledges" homosexuality.. I don't know however if it is allowed.

Well, I understand from ur posts that u dont accept or tolerate homosexuality even if there appear to be biological reasons to the natural inclination. So, what do u propose we should do? How should we deal with the homosexuals?
There are also biological reasons for incest/robery etc.

I do tolerate homosexuals and I do accept them, I never said I don't, though I see it as wrong. Anyway, what do you think? Is it right or wrong according to the Quran?

      Peace

that is what the hetro bashsers will accuse us with when we try to say the clear truth

don't worry bro, Allah is our witness and who will be a better witness than Him? we should continue to warn humanity of this evil act bro

      peace be with you

There is no compulsion at all, but it is inadvisable to go against universal law. We must call to what is right and reject what is wrong

The above is a very good expression of what we should do about the situation. Regarding the issue we are not talking about labeling people or finding out whether its harmful, but whether it is haram or not. And we have to admonish people and tell them a great punishment ahead and in this world for doing wrong. We just have to pass the message peacefully. It up to people to listen to the advice. As fas as the Quran is concerned homosexuality is forbidden. Period!

even believing god is a choice, and there is no compulsion in religion. we can always preach everyone about believing in god and any religion we believe, but it doesn't mean that we are not to tolerate people who decide not to believe in god or our religion. as long as they don't harm other people, then they have the rights to live their lives, with all legal rights that come along with it as a citizen of a country.
this should be the same type of tolerance that we should give to people with different sexual orientation.
we might not agree with their religions or their sexual orientation, but we live in diverse society, and there has to be laws that guarantee and secure the basic rights that people deserve since they were born.
people can always teach their children if other religions are wrong, or homosexuality is wrong, but it doesn't mean that we are not to teach our children tolerance towards them.
if we are defending the rights of people with other beliefs to practice their religions, it doesn't always mean that we are believing what they believe too, the same thing with defending the legal rights of gay people.
i believe that practicing tolerance is practicing the teaching of the quran. if god can tolerate people who don't believe in him and let them live their lives, why can't we do the same to the people who are 'different' from us...
anyway, excuse my english i don't speak that much english, so i'm sorry if there are so many redundant words in my postings lol

JK- Theres a great difference btw the freedom in believing in GOD and the freedom of being involved in hs. The first doesnt harm anyone. It is matter btw GOD and the person. The 2nd causes significant harm to society and thus i will alaways standup against it and will try my best to promote laws which would punish those who indulge in such activities. Moreover those people who support hs should be punished also if not more than the hs themlves. GOD Bless!

JK- I dont agree with you making such a statement bro since then your indirectly still promoting hs activitists to continue their acts. They should know that we believers are not on their side at all and we wont want them to commit their activities anywhere. We must never loose our voice. We must speak up against them until they get so ashamed of themselves that theyll stop. GOD Bless!

bro, to be honest i don't care about the homos as long as they leave our public schools in peace and act decently in public streets, other than that bro I have nothing to say to them but their act is filthy and will take them to hell, and this has to be done peacefuly, as I'm not going to create my own laws to punish them, they want to enjoy life, fine with me as long as they act decently and don't bloody push it into our throats, I can only deliver the warning in the Quran

                    peace

JK- But what if tese homos continued their evil lusts which results in many diseases being apread to other innocent persons and finally also to innocent children? Wont you feel bad since you for one know the harmful effects of hs to society, so your responisble. Dont you think that you should try your best to suggest punishments which should be LEGALLY setup by the government. Now if the majority agrees or doesnt is another thing as we cannot be responsible for that but we have to do our part. Thats what i believe otherwise how can evil ever be stopped. GOD Bless!

                        Peace bro "AB",

                        Salam Bro

in this case, because the diseases come from Allah, I will leave the matter to Him, Lut didn't punish his people, he only asked Allah for the punishment, exactly as Noah, therfore I will leave the matter to Allah as long as they don't inffect and polute our public schools with their filth

Wont you feel bad since you for one know the harmful effects of hs to society, so your responisble.

of course I fee, bad, disgusted, shamed to belong to the same species as those, etc, etc, but at the end of the day I can't really go on a roll against the homos as long as they keep their life style away from the public schools and the public streets, the rest is left to Allah, He did very well with Lut People and also Pompeii and many other vilages that was wiped off the face of planet earth and only signs left for us to learn from it

Dont you think that you should try your best to suggest punishments which should be LEGALLY setup by the government.

i guess this is a possiblity for me

Now if the majority agrees or doesnt is another thing as we cannot be responsible for that but we have to do our part. Thats what i believe otherwise how can evil ever be stopped. GOD Bless!

I agree, but so far without any human laws we can only conevy the message of God to them with peace, we can't force a punishment indvidually using our own minds

if verse 416 means two male homos, then the verse clearlty says "Iezohima", i.e. force a punishment on them, but that is for the law makers and law enforcers, not for me, I'm just a campainger

                        Salam mate
