Sex IS for PLEASURE
-
Peace "LT" and all,
Sex was always for pleasure primarily, as far as humans are concerned. When Adam and Eve were i heaven there was no reproduction. That is meant to be here on earth only. GOD Bless!Thats a good one Johny from Scritpure point of view wink

These are aids Sawtooth. They make the experience worthwhile so that people can reproduce. Sex is pleasurable. If sex were not pleasurable then would people do it? Would people have to adopt the means of other species, such as a mating season?
JoeSex is very pleasurable for humans. That is why we don't have mating seasons -)

Peace Nabi,
But women do it, dont they?
Sex is not childbirth. They do it because the baby must eventually leave the womb. I do not understand your point here.
My point was even if sex wasnt this pleasurable and was meant only for conception, couples who want kids might still do it for the sake of procreation, just like women give birth even though its not physically pleasurable for them(infact painful in this case).
Peace!

Peace be upon you Peaceful Muslim,
Rnt we talking of ordinary human beings anymore? I wasnt referring to monks or saints but ordinary people.
So that person was a super hero? I didn't see the usual flowing cape, sorry
Monks/ saints spend all their life meditating to reach where they reach.
Getting back to my point, there are people who have learned how to meditate and hav had pain free child birth. If you think you must spend your whole life to learn how to meditate, there is nothing I can say to convince you, you must try it yourself.
Now would u say an ordinary human being can emulate this act?
An ordinary human did perform that act. You can do anything if you train properly.
This is where I say u r living in ideologies and not being realistic.
OK.

Peace be upon you Enquirer,

'just beceause you dont know about it doesnt make it unreal.'Of all the people i didnt think i would hear this off you
Why? What did I say?
How can peaceful-muslim take this as knowledge without verification
Peaceful Muslim cant take it as knowledge without verification, so I provided the link to start the investigation, complete with observable pictures. If that is not enough, then I can give Peaceful Muslim information about the workshops on pain free child birth, perhaps peaceful muslim can speak to one of them.
Just because you did not personally witness muhammed doesnt make him untrue
As I have said a billion times, one cannot prove his exsistence or his non existence. We are not to go ater that which we have no knowledge. Please pay closer attention before claiming a contradiction.
idol-free you are human after all You even seemed a bit emotional in your post.
Dont worry im just being light-hearted. But there is some truth in my commentsYes I am subject to the same test as all humans, even the Monk who you claim to be something else. However, I havent gotten emotional regarding this topic, it is very easy topic. You dont see me using 100 emoticons D
But Yes, I do get emotional, I am still workin at it, but your assesment here is incorrect.

Peace Idolfree1,
Rnt we talking of ordinary human beings anymore? I wasnt referring to monks or saints but ordinary people.
So that person was a super hero? I didn't see the usual flowing cape, sorry
U did mention he was a buddhist monk, didnt u?
Do u realise what kind of training a person undergoes to become a monk and what kind of conditions he diciplines himself in? This is their life 24*7.Monks/ saints spend all their life meditating to reach where they reach.
Getting back to my point, there are people who have learned how to meditate and hav had pain free child birth. If you think you must spend your whole life to learn how to meditate, there is nothing I can say to convince you, you must try it yourself.
Like I said meditation and being calm can ease child birth a bit but wont make it pain free. The uterine contractions by themselves are very painful. And then the baby coming out through a narrow vagina.
And I did not say one must spend their whole life to learn how to meditate but yes, to reach the level of enlightment that monks do, to attain the spiritual powers they do.. it takes a lot of commitment, disciplining, focus, devotion and time to it.
Now would u say an ordinary human being can emulate this act?
An ordinary human did perform that act. You can do anything if you train properly.
There is a difference.
A monk performed that act. And they undergo far more training and disciplining which cannot be compared to the meditation an ordinary human being practises for an average of 20-40 mins a day.Peace!

Peace idol-free and all. If you want re-read some of your recent posts to me and others. Please understand the 'subjectivity' of your posts.(subjectivity is fine, but at least admit you are doing it) Just because you cannot prove the existense or non-existense of muhammed doesnt make him non-existant,thus your theory is un-verified and/or subjective.(and i dont know if you would class your unsureness of his existance as verified knowledge or a fact) .Why dont you say i dont have enough knowledge to make a judgement or i dont know. If i have mis-understood any of your statements i do apologise.
peace and respect. -

I disagree with the idea you are presenting. You are speaking of an Eastern system where the yoga technique differs from the yoga technique of the West which is based upon the Qabalah. The method of the West is adpoted to the Psychic constitution of its people who are not able to live under the Eastern conditions to which you are referring.

then explain why so many women do NOT orgasm everytime..... Is that need for it to end in orgasm only go for the men? I mean women can have them, but they sertainly do not experience it everytime....Yet I here tell it can still be enjoyable anyway. Still... it seems to take that special experience for a woman to go full on

then explain why so many women do NOT orgasm everytime
I believe I mentioned before that there are people who do not know how to have sex right. Certainly it is not limited to ignorance, other factors such as abuse, etc can lead to a lack of orgasm.
Is that need for it to end in orgasm only go for the men?
I do not follow. Please restate.
I mean women can have them
Sure they can.
but they sertainly do not experience it everytime
Patriarchy is sometimes deeper than one thinks.
Yet I here tell it can still be enjoyable anyway.
Of course. I never said it was not. I'm a missing something here or are you people not reading and making weird assumptions.
Still... it seems to take that special experience for a woman to go full on
For men as well. It's just that sex is usually more in our favor.

sex may be more in man's favor, but i believe there is more than just "Calgon" to the ladies' long shower.
Actually I am just being tounge in cheek here. I mean we are talking about sex and peasure (generally i would hope they go hand in hand) so I am having a bit of fun

Hello LoteTree,
In this world primary use of SEX is for PLEASURE. REPRODUCTION has become secondary and even then a matter of choice.
Yes, I fully support the notion that in our generation, the primary purpose of sex is pleasure (more so with the invention of contraceptives and abortion) and secondary, conception with choice (mainly due to economic effects). The concept of "pleasurable sex" as in technology and culture, has certainly influenced and advanced in younger generation as well throughout the world. What say you?

What are u talking of? Ur post seems quite unrelated to what I am talking about here. ?
I am not talking of eastern or western meditation. The example given to me was that of a buddhist monk to which I was responding. Even in the eastern world, an ordinary human being cant sit calm, pain free, through fire.
What are u saying btw? That every ordinary human being of the west can sit through fire like that without intensive training and disciplining?
Peace!

Hello chaps and chapesses,
If all women have to be a monk to have painless childbirth then human species would have died out wink -)
But modern medicine can give a women a painless birth these days quite easily. So need for a women to be a monk to have a painless childbirth and meditation in childbirth for most women is not practical so please let it go.

What are u talking of?
That which I wrote of is what I am talking about.
I was saying that what monks achieve therough their meditative methods can be achieved by a different method, the Yoga of the West.
Ur post seems quite unrelated to what I am talking about here.
It is not unrelated. I'm questioning your position that ordinary people cannot achieve such things as those who live a hermetic life or one filled with austerities.
I am not talking of eastern or western meditation.
You're talking about Eastern meditation where the conditions of the East are necessary for such long hours of constant devotional service.
The example given to me was that of a buddhist monk to which I was responding. Even in the eastern world, an ordinary human being cant sit calm, pain free, through fire.
Buddhist monks adhere to an eastern methodology. Of course, in the east they have their own system of Yoga compared to that of the West, leading to the same Union, but with different methods.
What are u saying btw? That every ordinary human being of the west can sit through fire like that without intensive training and disciplining?
No. I'm saying that the training you are speaking of, again in an Eastern system, is not necessary in the Yoga of the West. Again I present this axiom for you to meditate on.
"He that loses his life shall find it."

Regards,
Though your question in relation to the subject matter requires a much in-depth and lengthier approach, I shall summarize as naturally as perceived
There is no doubt that technology and cultural epidemics bring about vast changes in people?s lives. When there were no contraceptives and abortionists, or at least not widespread, population doubled and tripled over short span of time along with having several ?wives?. Over the last decade or so, although population is at a gradual rise due to the already huge number, keeping in mind the ergonomics of current life , all of which collectively call for its slow, yet declining overall population growth.
The technology of contraceptives (which include condoms, injections, pills, etc.) along with abortion and immunological removal techniques, vasectomies, sterilizations, ?over-the-head? methods, IUD?s (Intrauterine Device such as diaphragm) and all other practical and natural methods play an important and challenging role in ones sexual drives and as well as parenthood.
Today in our cultures/societies, we openly declare, learn and witness the uncompromising effects taught to, presented and experienced by younger generation (especially teenagers) in schools, media, video, movies, stores, displays/advertisements, parent/child discussions, Internet, cell phones, dating clubs, discos/proms, private parties, narcotics/drugs and seductions, fashion, beauty/appearance, etc., etc. together with today?s lifestyle a family lives in and along with the technology at hand mentioned above, has realistically boosted to becoming sexually oriented with a ?no worry? headlined mindset.
Although the open-minded liberals and the western cultures have and are advancing and adapting these technological and cultural systems, the east and more so the Islamic cultures are not far behind, intertwined with the west, blooming the new buds, hence more bang for the pleasures.
