Q . God created us and everything around , if an atheist asks us then who created God, we would say tht God is not created he has alwayz been there , but if an atheist tells tht isnt it possible for us also to be not created n just to there or our existence is only a luck
wht to tell him in this situationwe are the creation . we need to be created . God is not a creation , but THE Creator .
Q an atheist can ask tht why doesnt ur God come in front of us wht good explaination can we give for tht
God is not an object on display .
Q if an atheist asks us tht why did God create us at first place ,...
to serve Him ?

Q how does monesthetic believe makes more sense then polytheisthic one
thts is who does believe in one God makes more sense then believe in multiple Gods?i think tht if there many Gods every God would be fighting over the superiority

pls comment on this
Gods, being gods, probably would NOT fight over power, that is a human need, I would hope a god would be beyond.
If god gave youall the answers, we would loose everything we learn in the quest. Ah the purpose to this catastrohpe of life.
I don't think we are here to be tested but to be prepared and to learn and grow in our spirit.
I agree with the testing concept... test us for what?

If you can convince someone to believe in God, then you are greater than God. The best you can do is defend your position.

wht to tell him in this situationPeace,
If the universe is an entity that is expanding, what exactly is it expanding into??????
Was the universe created or was it 'just there'?
If the universe was 'just there' then that reason aswell can be used for God.
If God was created by another being, then that being was also created and so on and so on and so on. Time as we know gives us the impression that there is an everlasting amount of creators. This, in a rational logical way, is not feasible. There is just one creator who just is.

Peace be upon you Samina,
Q how does monesthetic believe makes more sense then polytheisthic one
thts is who does believe in one God makes more sense then believe in multiple Gods?i think tht if there many Gods every God would be fighting over the superiority

wht to tell him in this situationWell, on the physical plane, all he or she needs to do is have a child, then they will see a person created. Or they can take thier life as far back as they can go and reach the same conclusion.
In regards to us always being, yes, we are manifestations of the One God, there is really no "us" but God. So in essence, yes, energy/matter has always been and will always be, just manifestinig in different forms.
Q an atheist can ask tht why doesnt ur God come in front of us wht good explaination can we give for tht
The God is not an object, but a subject. Creation is the objective manifestation of the subjective BEING. You come "face to face" with this when you are sleep and not dreaming. That is the realm where there are no OBJECTS, the subjective realm. Just the same way that thoughts and images are created in your mind from nothingness, the dark realm of no-thing-ness.
Q if an atheist asks us tht why did God create us at first place , we can tell him/her to test us then if again the atheist asks why does God wants to test us for wht ?
No, you tell them we are created to SERVE the God. The God comes through our vessel when we purify our vessel. We are like the car to a human for God. We are like the TOOLS of the Great Architect.

Peace all. Even atheists will believe in nature/love/atraction/awareness/energy/existence etc... I believe they just dont like the baggage attached to the word God by the differing and contradictory opinions given by some traditionally religious people.( which are not logical or verfiable.) Atheists can still be moral and good people. Just as some monotheists can behave immorally. Ask an atheist if they believe in their own existence and that of others...If they say yes(which is most likely.) ,then existence can just be another word for god. Same with the concept of 'nature'. No use arguing over different words which point to the same 'ultimate' reality.
-
Peace be upon you Enquirer,
I have the same theory about some atheists, they dont like all the baggage that comes with the term so they IMITATE the only other option that they have in thier memories.
-
Peace idolfree and all. Also i think with some who call themselves 'atheists' they do believe in their own power and that of others.
In no way now would i assume an atheist does not believe in the 'all' Even some known as pagans and polytheists, when you analyse their beliefs they do believe in the 'all' too. I think the labels are sometimes deceptive.
I think most people believe in their conciousness, and the conciousness of others...Its very hard to deny conciousness and existence. The word/concept of god can be said in a million different ways, which sometimes are not recognised by all. (eg the 'great spirit' of the red-indians,or nature etc..)
Peace all. -
when people stop antropromorphising God, such questions will never be asked. Because as long as we in some way or another view The Dinvine as a god person, such a question makes sense. When you dont, it makes no sense what so ever.
-
Peace magi and all. I think there is a knowable aspect of a god and an unknowable aspect of god.We are all part of god(the all.) so there is no problem with anthromporphising some parts of the whole. But there are some parts that are not human(eg gravity.) ,and some parts that we have not yet encountered. The parts are verifiable with direct experience, and the whole is intuitively/intellectually verifiable. But we cant know all of god at one time in detail, because god(the all.) is infinitely diverse in infinite dimensions..And any individual has limitations, because its a part of the whole.(the all/god.)
Peace all. -
Peace Samina, All,
Samina, you stated
i have to make him believe in God
Why? As many have mentioned, you don't have the ability to make someone believe in God. Nor should you even attempt it, because what you'd be attempting is not making your friend believe in God, but making him believe in YOUR understanding of God.
I once had a series of debates with a very polite, respectful, and intelligent atheist. Where we ended in our understanding of each other is that what I call God, he calls nature, as you and others have mentioned.
There is great wisdom to be found if we only let go of our preconceptions. This is why I think it's important not to put people in little boxes, even if they supply the labels. wink
I say, let your atheist friend speak his mind, and you speak yours, in a respectful and open spirit. He may even teach you something about God.
Peace,
Tay -

How true a statement!
I think we should stop seeing people as atheists and believers and treat everyone as human beings...
Many atheists are very moral and peaceful and compassionate people. And I have many good friend and work colleagues who are "atheists" but I never see them any less...nor do ever agonise over if they will go to heaven or hell etc...
I think we all will make peace one day with our creator - atheists and believers alike...
