Some Of You Don't believe in "Allahu Akbar"?
-
Peace brother Ahmed,
Yes but again you limited the action of Takbir to only two things, while Allah Akbar covers everything that we know or we donlt know
As I have mentioned over and over again, calling Allah "akbar" has no authority from Allah and has no qur'aanic basis. It is just a conjecture on your part. "Nukabir" is to magnify, not necessarily magnify in ALL aspects. As long as one magnifies Allah in any way its ok as long as it is authorized by Allah and has a qur'aanic basis. I am sorry but you have not been able to come up with any solid qur'aanic proof of your claim, whereas I have already shown you how to "nukabir" Allah using qur'aanic attributes and have clearly shown you that Allah does not sanction us or our forefathers creating names for Him that He has not authorized. I have already shown you that the attributes of Allah mentioned in al-qur'aan are also His names and vice versa. Unless you have qur'aanic proof of your claims, its a moot point to continue this discussion.

Peace bro
yeh bro my quranic prove is what Abraham said "Haza Akbar" which means "Rabi Akbar" which means "Allah Akbar"
you will tell me this weak point that he meant the sun is bigger than the moon, well, i have to disagree as if you look at the full moon you will see that its diameter is almost identical to the sun diameter
therefore Allah is Akbar from anything, Abraham has no means to say that the sun is bigger than the moon therefore he meant that Allah is bigger than the moon
yeh you are right bro, it is pointless to continue this discussion, however you have to know that the history records also confirmed that the prophet said it zillions of times, therefore the Quran and the history records does not conflict in here

Peace Ahmed,
Firstly, the reason Abraham said that the sun was "akbar" meaning greater is because the moon disappeared and the sun appeared after that, thereby superseding it, not because the sun is bigger in apparent size.
Secondly, Allah NEVER describes Himself as akbar in al-qur'aan. Just because Abraham used the word "akbar" for the sun, even when he mistakenly thought it to be his "rabb", does not mean that it is the attribute of Allah, as Allah Himself never authorized it or used it for Himself in al-qur'aan. All messengers have made mistakes, and just because a messenger uses a word does not mean it is sanctioned or authorized by Allah. Just like Dhulqarnain said he saw the sun setting in a lake, does not mean it actually set in a lake. Just because the Jews said Ezra is son of Allah does not mean that Allah has a son. Your logic is totally flawed and you have no evidence from al-qur'aan to support your claim that "akbar" is an attribute of Allah.

Peace mate
Firstly, Allah did, because the words said in the Quran are His words, He was just telling us a story about Abraham, that story is related to Him and how Abraham recognised Him
Secondly, Abraham knew the sun for years before that day when he said Haza Akabar in the story, i.e. He knew that the sun looks the same size as the moon, he also knew for sure that the sun sets every day, he was using it as a metaphore and all related to God, so one of the description Abraham knew by fitrah is simply, Allah Akbar from anything
Thirdly, what is an attribute exactly?, is it something to describe Him?, if yes then your logic is flawed, because it can be considered as an attribute due to what Abraham said about Allah, that Haza Akbar, and Haza here was referring to Allah because Haza is masculine, if he meant the sun then Abraham should have said Hazihi Akbar becaue Al Shams (The Sun) is femenine, you have NO point my friend ;D
Now the messneger (Abraham) used the word and Allah repeated that word, we are not talking hadith here aren't we?
But what Dhulqarnain story has to do with this?, this makes no sense to me man, it seems you don't know what Dhulqarnain was talking about anyway
and for Ezra story, what it has to do exactlywith Allah Akbar?, sorry i missed you there
and finally bro and this is my last comment to you regarding this subject, I have shown enough evidences from the Quran that Akbar can be said about Allah and is actually more dominant than kabir, period

Peace brother Ahmed,
I think you did not get what I was saying. Allah is just quoting Abraham. Just like Allah narrated what Dhulqarnain thought he saw. Just like Allah quoted the Jews. Dhulqarnain saw the sun setting in a lake and Allah quoted that in al-qur'aan; does not mean that the sun actually sets in a lake.
1886 Until he reached the setting of the sun, and he found it setting at a boiling lake, and he found near it a people. We said "O Dhulqarnain, either you are to punish, or you are to do them good."
The above are Allah's words but Allah is just relating what Dhulqarnian thought he saw, does not mean that Allah is telling us as a fact that the sun actually sets in a boiling lake.
The Jews said Ezra is Allah's son, and Allah quoted the Jews; does not mean Allah has a son.
930 The Jews said "Ezra is God's son," and the Nazarenes said "The Messiah is God's son."
The above is Allah quoting the Jews saying that; does not mean that Allah has a son.
Some person said that they are going to die only once and not get resurrected and Allah quoted that in al-qur'aan; does not mean that we are going to die only once and not get resurrected.
4435 "There is nothing but our first death; and we will never be resurrected!"
The above is in al-qur'aan, but Allah is just quoting someone; does not mean we will not be resurrected and we have only one death.
Just like that Allah is quoting Abraham mistakenly thinking the sun is his Lord and calling the sun akbar; does not mean Allah is akbar and does not mean Allah is sanctioning that attribute for Himself or authorizing it. I don't know how come you cannot understand something so simple as that.
Allah NEVER EVER uses the attribute akbar for Himself in al-qur'aan. You have absolutely no point.

mate, what dhulqarnin said is very accurate from dhulqarnin perspective, in fact this is exactly what dhulqarnin saw, and I'm sure i saw it and you saw it too, have you ever seen the sun setting behind the horizon especially over water?, well it looks like the sun is sinking in water, this is very accurate stuff indeed
but again what that has to do with Allah from the frist place?, was dhulqarnin talking about Allah when he said as such about the sun?, NO, but Abraham was talking about Allah, "Haza Akbar", and Haza is masculine and MUST BE REFERRING TO ALLAH, now in arabic we can remove Haza, Hazihi or Haolaa and replace it with whom it refers to, try it with me please
Haza Akbar = Allah Akbar (Remember that Haza is referring to a musculine and the sun is feminine)
The Jews said Ezra is Allah's son, and Allah quoted the Jews; does not mean Allah has a son.
930 The Jews said "Ezra is God's son," and the Nazarenes said "The Messiah is God's son."
The above is Allah quoting the Jews saying that; does not mean that Allah has a son.
of course it does not because He denied that He has a son in the same Quran, now please show me where it says not to say Allah Akbar about Him?
Some person said that they are going to die only once and not get resurrected and Allah quoted that in al-qur'aan; does not mean that we are going to die only once and not get resurrected.
4435 "There is nothing but our first death; and we will never be resurrected!"
The above is in al-qur'aan, but Allah is just quoting someone; does not mean we will not be resurrected and we have only one death.
Fine, but again Allah denied this stupid claim by the kuffar, please show me where it says donlt say Allah Akbar about Allah in the Quran, I showed you Abraham saying it in the Quran
LOL
again, you have no bloody point, HAZA AKBAR means Abraham was talking about Allah not the sun because Haza is masculine, if it was about the sun it must be Hazihi Akabar, try and check with another arabic speaker if you don't believe me )
and finally Allah ordered us to take Abraham as a great exmaple of a Muslim, and He said Haza Akbar = Allah Akbar, therefore we should follow his steps

Peace Ahmed,
That is the most absurd logic I have ever seen in my life. If what you are saying is true then according to Allah sun sets in a boiling lake, because where has Allah said in al-qur'aan that the sun does not set in a boiling lake ?
I have shown you many verses before where Allah admonishes creating names for Him that He has not authorized. Allah just quotes Abraham and never sanctions akbar as His attribute/name anywhere in al-qur'aan. According to your twisted logic, if Abraham is describing Allah by akbar when he sees the sun then the sun is Allah. Later when Abraham realizes that the sun is not Allah he never repeats the word akbar for Allah. You have absolutely no point. Allah has NEVER EVER used akbar for Himself in al-qur'aan and has not authorized it as His name/attribute in al-qur'aan.
Allah has also asked us to take the example of Prophet Muhammad, but Muhammad comitted some mistakes too. Should we repeat Muhammad's mistakes then ?
Show me anywhere in al-qur'aan where Allah says that a sun DOES NOT set in a boiling lake, only then your twisted logic might fly.

Salam man
now you have shifted the subject
as i'm telling you i saw it myself at sunset, just go to the beach at sunset and have a look, but don't forget your camera, anyway i actually took a photo of it a few of days ago, i will show it to you later as well i will show you how wrong you understood what dhulqarnin was saying
got to go home now

Peace Ahmed,
As is typical of your tactics, you have still not shown anywhere where Allah has said in al-qur'aan that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE. I would love to see the camera shot of the sun setting in a BOILING LAKE. So according to your twisted logic Allah says that the sun sets in a boiling lake. Can anything be more absurd than that ?
You will have a point only when you show the verse in al-qur'aan where Allah says that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE, to correct Dhulqarnain.

oh please man, don't waste my time, i told you what i will post when i go home, but again you seem very ignornat to what dhulqarnin was saying about the son, and i told you what he saw was damn accurate as Allah decribed it to us
I would love to see the camera shot of the sun setting in a BOILING LAKE. So according to your twisted logic Allah says that the sun sets in a boiling lake. Can anything be more absurd than that ?
it seems you are the one that got twisted here, my logic is not twisted and is far more logical in accordance to the arabic language that you sure lack
You will have a point only when you show the verse in al-qur'aan where Allah says that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE, to correct Dhulqarnain.
look buddy
i will only show the public your ignorance in understanding what dhilqarnin was saying
i donlt have to make a point to you or anyone really, i talk to the public arena
-
Peace Ahmed,
A human can see an illusion and describe it accurately, but that does not make it a fact. One can see the sun rising and setting and think that the sun revolves around the earth, but that will be scientifically inaccurate. Dhulqarnain saw an illusion of the sun setting in a BOILING LAKE and describes what he saw as if the sun was actually setting in a BOILING LAKE. When Allah narrates what Dhulqarnain saw, does not mean that Allah is agreeing that the sun sets in a BOILING LAKE. Allah does not state anywhere in al-qur'aan that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE, to correct Dhulqarnains false assumption, so according to your flawed logic that would make Allah agreeing that the sun can set in a boiling lake !
Similarly Abraham mistakenly assumes akbar as an attribute of Allah, but that does not make akbar an attribute of Allah unless Allah Himself authorizes it or uses it for Himself in al-qur'aan. When Allah quotes Abraham as saying something does not automatically mean that Allah is agreeing with Abraham. Allah however DOES CLEARLY ASK US NOT TO CREATE NAMES FOR HIM THAT HE HAS NOT AUTHORIZED.
When Abraham sees the sun he says HAZA RABBI, so who is he calling RABBI if HAZA cannot be used for the sun ? Of course he is referring to the sun as his Lord. Similarly when he says HAZA AKBAR he is referring to the sun. That is an obvious mistake, and it is Abraham's false statement and not Allah who made that statement. Allah quoting the false statement of Abraham does not mean Allah is sanctioning akbar for Himself. Allah has never used akbar for himself in al-qur'aan.
Dhulqarnain saying he saw the sun set in a boiling lake does not mean that the sun can set in a boiling lake. Similarly Abraham mistakenly using akbar for Allah assuming the sun is Allah, does not mean that akbar is an attribute/name of Allah. If I mistakenly call you Danish, does not mean that you are Danish unless you yourself agree with it or authorize it.
I guess you dont have a point then as you have REPEATEDLY failed to produce a verse from al-qur'aan in which Allah corrects Dhulqarnain by stating that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE. Humans like Dhulqarnain and Abraham can make mistakes, does not mean that when they make a mistaken assumption, we start attributing it to Allah. To summarise, Allah has admonished creating a name for Himself that He has not authorized, and has NEVER used akbar for Himself in al-qur'aan.

Hello Brother Tanveermd
I found it ridiculous that you believe the false allegations promoted by the enemy of Islam regarding Zul-Qarnain without putting an effort to understand the full story mentioned in the Quran
The following claim is taken from Sina's website and can be found copied and pasted on almost every anti-Islamic site. They make the claim??..
Allegation The Quran teaches us that the Sun sets in a muddy spring
YUSUFALI Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water Near it he found a People We said "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."
PICKTHAL Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness.
SHAKIR Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea, and found by it a people. We said O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit.
(86)
?Serious scientific error here!, it is scientifically accepted fact that, the Sun never go down in a muddy spring.?
They say laughter is good for you, but this is becoming extremely unhealthy. these people go to such lengths in their attempts at highlighting the alleged contradictions or scientific fallacies in the Quran, it's shocking to witness how desperate some people have become. they will twist translations, invent false ideas and inject them into the mind of the new readers in the most rapid way possible.
They try to make the claim that the author of the Quran was scientifically challenged, that he was oblivious to the fact that the sun never actually sets. They also make the savage claim that the same set of verses "prove" that the Earth is flat!, LOL indeed
The verse narrate part of the story of Zul-Qarnain. being a traveller like Zul-Qarnain eventually, at sun set, arrived at a place where there were springs of vast murky waters. He found around it tribes of people, some righteous and some malign. The narration goes on to describe how Zul-Qarnain was given authority to rule over them as a just king. It narrates the version of events as he, Zul-Qarnain saw them ? he saw the sun set in a murky water, nothing wrong with that. And certainly no claim of being scientific fact.
The idiotic critics who raise this issue and claim that the God of the Quran does not know the simple science that the sun never actually sets in murky waters are barking up the wrong tree. The above verses in no way make the claim of being scientific fact as God sees it. We don?t see God making the claim that the sun sets into murky waters! Or rises on a certain group of people. We simply see God describing things as witnessed by Zul-Qarnain ?
They ask thee concerning Zul-Qarnain. Say, ?I will rehearse to you something of his story"?.
This is classical anti-Islam rhetoric , the simple fact is this, the sun sets wherever you see it set. If you are on a beach you will see it set into the ocean. If you are on a hill, you will see it set behind the hill. Here is a flash movie to prove it to you, I took these 6 photos during Easter break on a very nice town on the Australian Ocean, I clearly watched the sun sets in a salty water
http//mail.forte.com.au/ahmed/flash/fm1.swf
Figurative reading was never designed for our enemies, therefore we should pardon them for their ignorance. How these people come to such conclusions really baffles me! It seems that the decision to ridicule our religion is made up long before they go into the Quran looking for supposed contradictions, or do they leave their atheistic tendencies behind? Who knows. They eager to find something they can please the masses with. The above claim is simply fruitless
And please don?t compare this with what Abraham said about Allah that He is Akbar, Haza (masculine) Akbar = Allah Akbar because we should take the prophets as an example to know Allah and his way anyway, not to take them as an example to learn science, you don?t really have a point bringing the story on the table trying desperately to make a point

Peace Ahmed,
A human can see an illusion and describe it accurately, but that does not make it a fact.
Salam bro
well the fact of the matter that he saw it this way and it looked real, i didnlt say it is a fact, but that is differnt to Allah Akbar, we are ordered to take Abraham as an example to us and he said Haza (masculine) Akbar, i.e. he never meant the sun is Akbar because the sun is feminine
now Abraham was given wisdom at a very young age as far as I know, therefore he was not talking non sense when he said Haza (masculine) Akbar = Allah Akbar i.e. he never meant the sun is Akbar because the sun is feminine
One can see the sun rising and setting and think that the sun revolves around the earth, but that will be scientifically inaccurate. Dhulqarnain saw an illusion of the sun setting in a BOILING LAKE and describes what he saw as if the sun was actually setting in a BOILING LAKE.
I only care on how he saw it and Allah described it the way he saw it because the prophet was reherssing his story to the believers, you klnow like granny telling us stories
When Allah narrates what Dhulqarnain saw, does not mean that Allah is agreeing that the sun sets in a BOILING LAKE.
well i disn't say that, or did i?
far out man, a typical useless argument, well Zul-Qarnin was not talking about Allah anyway, but Abraham was talking about Allah and when someone like Abraham or any other prophet talks about Allah, I'm sure they will not talk illusions
Allah does not state anywhere in al-qur'aan that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE,
sure but He stated that Zul Qarnin saw it as such, and it clearly means an illusion, sis I say it was not an illusion?
to correct Dhulqarnains false assumption, so according to your flawed logic that would make Allah agreeing that the sun can set in a boiling lake !
BS and simply ignored
Similarly Abraham mistakenly assumes akbar as an attribute of Allah,
prove it that it was a mistake when he said Haza (maculine) Akbar , your logic is very flawed and you have no point indeed, why don't you respond to "Haza" masculine while the sun is feminine?
but that does not make akbar an attribute of Allah unless Allah Himself authorizes it or uses it for Himself in al-qur'aan.
Thank you Einstien for discovering relativity, i see it an attribute and Abraham saw it the same "Haza (masculine) Akabr", thank you
When Allah quotes Abraham as saying something does not automatically mean that Allah is agreeing with Abraham.
well, show me where Allah is not agreeing with Abraham when he said as such?, in fact it was perfect agreement all the way, more than Mohammad even,
Allah however DOES CLEARLY ASK US NOT TO CREATE NAMES FOR HIM THAT HE HAS NOT AUTHORIZED.
wrong answer, Akbar is an attribute not a name ;D
When Abraham sees the sun he says HAZA RABBI, so who is he calling RABBI if HAZA cannot be used for the sun ? Of course he is referring to the sun as his Lord. Similarly when he says HAZA AKBAR he is referring to the sun.
lol, the above was funny because it didnlt make any sense, but donlt worry about it, i want to go to hell
That is an obvious mistake, and it is Abraham's false statement and not Allah who made that statement. Allah quoting the false statement of Abraham does not mean Allah is sanctioning akbar for Himself. Allah has never used akbar for himself in al-qur'aan.
you are very repetitive man, ok i want to go to hell
Dhulqarnain saying he saw the sun set in a boiling lake does not mean that the sun can set in a boiling lake. Similarly Abraham mistakenly using akbar for Allah assuming the sun is Allah, does not mean that akbar is an attribute/name of Allah. If I mistakenly call you Danish, does not mean that you are Danish unless you yourself agree with it or authorize it.
far out, again bro?, i told you mate you are very repetitive
I guess you dont have a point then as you have REPEATEDLY failed to produce a verse from al-qur'aan in which Allah corrects Dhulqarnain by stating that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE. Humans like Dhulqarnain and Abraham can make mistakes, does not mean that when they make a mistaken assumption, we start attributing it to Allah. another funny comment
well at least you made me laugh and I have to thank you for that

Peace Ahmed,
When Abraham sees the sun and says HAZA RABBI, what is he referring to ? The sun of course. You have failed to answer this. Then in the same sentence after seeing the sun he says HAZA AKBAR, what is he referring to ? The sun of course. You have failed to answer this too.
Abraham is mistakenly assuming the sun to be his god and giving it an attribute. Tell me again, when Abraham says HAZA RABBI and HAZA AKBAR on seeing the sun, what is he referring to ? Please tell the public what HAZA means and when someone says HAZA after seeing an object, what is the HAZA referring to. What is the sun's gender in the language that Abraham spoke ?
Abraham is a human and he can make mistakes. Allah NEVER agrees with the attribute of akbar for Himself and NEVER uses it for Himself in al-qur'aan. Who can authorize attributes of Allah ? only Allah, not Abraham.
I have repeatedly shown you before that except Allah all other attributes of Allah used in al-qur'aan are also His names and vice versa. So for Allah ATTRIBUTES = NAMES. Allah has clearly admonished us from CREATING names for Him that He has not authorized. Where has ALLAH authorized or used akbar as an attribute for Himself in al-qur'aan ?
From now on I will start calling you Danish. Its the same as Abraham mistakenly calling the sun akbar, thinking it is his god. Of course you don't have any danishmandi, so it will be my mistake to call you Danish, but according to your flawed logic it will be ok to call you that even when you have not authorized it for yourself.
Allah also asks us to follow the example of Muhammad, does that mean He wants us to repeat all the mistakes made by Muhammad also ?
Allah clearly corrects the mistake of Abraham when He elsewhere says many times not to create names for Allah that He has not authorized. Please note that except Allah all other names of Allah are His attributes and vice versa, so we cannot even create an attribute for Allah that He has not authorized. Allah NEVER uses akbar for Himself in al-qur'aan.
Abraham mistakenly assuming akbar to be an attribute of Allah does not make it an attribute of Allah, unless Allah uses it for Himself or authorizes it for Himself in al-qur'aan. That is an obvious mistake by Abraham, and it is Abraham who made the false statement and not Allah who made that statement. Allah quoting the false statement of Abraham does not mean Allah is sanctioning akbar for Himself. Allah has NEVER used akbar for himself in al-qur'aan.
Since Allah by stating what Dhularnain saw does not make it a fact, same way Allah quoting what Abraham said does not make it a fact either. According to your flawed logic if akbar is an attribute of Allah just because Abraham says so, then THE SUN CAN SET IN A BOILING LAKE cuz Dhulqarnain saw so, as Allah never corrects what Dhulqarnain saw. Bring me a verse from al-qur'aan where Allah says that the sun does not set in a boiling lake.
Dhulqarnain seeing the sun set in a boiling lake does not mean that the sun can set in a boiling lake. Similarly Abraham mistakenly using akbar for Allah assuming the sun is Allah, does not mean that akbar is an attribute/name of Allah.
You have again REPEATEDLY failed to produce a verse from al-qur'aan in which Allah corrects Dhulqarnain by stating that the sun DOES NOT set in a BOILING LAKE. Allah does however correct Abraham's mistake by asking us not to create names for Him that He has not authorized.

Peace all,
and your Lord fakabbir doesn't imply "say allah is...", nevertheless that does not mean just verbal takbir. It involves showing it in action.
I leave you in peace, my daughter call me D
Peace
When sombody asks for prayers, they say its in heart and not to be performed. When somebody says to call "Allah-u-Akbar" then they say its not calling its action.
I wonder what is your action. Do you dance or climb some mountain to do action?
Now somebody will give some reasoning that since everything is praising Allah, so his body is already praising Allah. If it is to be interpreted like this, then there is no differece in bad and good on the earth as both are praising. Problem solved? These are the stupidities I daily see at free-minds. Its not one group its "Bhaan mtee ka kumba"(only people from india and pakistan can understand what is this)
Regards.
-
What do you think of that ?
As I have stated earlier the alternate title for this book can be ?It is NOT stated in the Quran?. As I have stated already there is NOT one thing which the Ahlul Sunnah or Shiah practice that can be traced inside the Quran ? NOT ONE. We have already seen that even the famous cry of ?Allahu Akbar? CANNOT be found in the Quran. The Sunnis cry ?Allahu Akbar? which according to them means ?God is Great?. This is actually a trick and an insult by the enemies of Islam because ?Allahu Akbar? actually means ?God is Old?. The Sunnis say ?Akbar? is one of the names of God but the fact is this name ?Akbar? CANNOT be found inside the Quran as God?s name. It is NOT stated in the Quran.
What is more interesting is that the Sunnis have invented their famous list of ninety nine ?Beautiful Names of God? which they call the ?Asmaul Husna?. Yet even inside this invented Asmaul Husna there is no occurrence of the name ?Akbar?. The Sunnis forgot to include ?Akbar? inside their Asmaul Husna ! What a lark.
http//www.free-minds.org/books/journey.htmPure rubbish ?
Peace
Certainly its rubbish.
Because any person, no matter in what words he calls almighty, he is at least praising the Creator. Its not a cry. I say my Creator is Great. now many people will agree, but there is not Allah's arabic name or attribute in it.
So these are the fetishes of the minds of people...that they open a new pandora box everytime....saying that such and such thing is not in quran. ..........If it would be so,,,then these people should never write the word "God" and should not even write the word "Allah" in english, because that is not his name because that is not in quran, that word in quran is arabic written. Right? All rubbish thinking of these people.
I am sick of it.

Peace mate
as i said, it sounds OK in the arabic to say Allah Akbar because the word Akabr menas magnifying Allah in all aspects, not just in size
Regarding His names, as I asked you before and you confirmed that only a few names that we can confirm they are names from the Quran, the rest of 99 or whatever number can't be confirmed and yet we use it as names to glorify Allah, the attribtes however is far more spectulative than the names, yes the attribute is Kabir but Akbar has more global meaning than Kabir and both were said about Allah in the Quran
if you look again at the story of Abraham, you will see that the sun is clearly feminine (Al Shams Bazeghah) the Ta Marbotta at the end of Bazeghah clearly means it is feminine, on the other hand Abraham didn't say "hazihi akbar" if he meant that the God is the sun, and it is impossible to believe that he only discovered that the sun sets on that day so he changed his mind, i'm sure he saw it sets everyday since he was born, therefore his words "Haza Akbar" was truly describing the God he was looking for and this is simply how it can be justified to use it with the real God "Allah"
now let's knock it off and discuss something else, I'm happy to agree to disagree with you, how about you?
Salam

Peace Ahmed,
The fact remains that Abraham was referring to the sun when he said haza akbar. Actually Abraham never spoke Arabic, but Allah is quoting him in Arabic. Maybe the word used for sun in Abraham's language was masculine. The sun appears bigger than the moon 90 % of the time because the moon goes through stages, and I think that is the reason Abraham thought the sun was akbar.
The fact also remains that Allah never used akbar for Himself in al-qur'aan. Just because Abraham used the word does not mean that Allah is sanctioning it.
The verse in which Allah mentions some of His names as the beautiful names contains attributes of Allah that are called the beautiful names. So attributes of Allah can also be His names, at least the ones mentioned in that verse. Hence for Allah, attributes = names and names = attributes. Allah clearly tells us not to create names for Him that He has not authorized (which also includes attributes because attribute = name as far as Allah is concerned), and He has never used the attribute akbar for Himself.
Abraham calling the sun akbar is no proof that akbar is an attribute of Allah as Allah has never used it for Himself in al-qur'aan. If Abraham using akbar for the sun mistakenly assuming it to be god makes it an attribute of Allah, then by the same logic Dhulqarnain seeing the sun set in a boiling lake means that the sun can set in a boiling lake.
Therefore, apart from conjecturing based on Abraham's usage of akbar, there is no qur'aanic proof that akbar is Allah's attribute because
-
Allah NEVER uses the attribute akbar for Himself in al-qur'aan. Who knows His name/attribute ? Allah or Abraham ?
-
Allah clearly tells us not to create names (attributes) for Him that He has not authorized.
You can stick to whatever your understanding is, but do not justify that understanding based on qur'aan. Also you cannot say that Abraham was not referring to the sun by saying haza akbar, because obviously he was. Even if he mistakenly thought the sun to be his god, he still was referring to the sun by that phrase.
