I am posting this message on behalf of Michelle (user name 'Feshari').
For any who wish to help, kindly use the link at the end of the message.
I am Michelle and I live in Florida. Four months ago, I was involved in a freak accident where my whole body was crushed by a trash compactor. I sustained multiple broken bones, a concussion, head wound, and my right leg was crushed badly. I lost the hearing in my left ear, and still have severe dizziness due to my concussion.
I have no health insurance and no husband to support me. Since that time I have been receiving some help from my friends and my mother, but they do not have the extra money to keep supporting me until I am well enough to go back to working.
Alhamdulillah I am now getting food stamp assistance from the state of Florida, but that is all the financial help I get from the state. Unless you have children here, you have no chance of receiving financial assistance thru the welfare program.
To put it short, I need help from any Free Minds members. I do have something to offer anyone who would be willing to make a donation to me.
About 2 years ago, I made a 22 minute documentary on a group here run by the Reverend Fred Phelps. He claims to be a Christian man, but he hates and harasses people by traveling around the country protesting churches, people and anyone else he and his group find offensive. Mr Phelps runs the horrible website, "God Hates Fags" which can be viewed at www.godhatesfags.com
I am willing to mail out copies of the documentary I made to anyone who can make a donation to me to help pay my rent, which is one month behind (it was due 1 March). The copies would be available on CD so that anyone would be able to view it on their computer.
Would it be possible or tasteful to post this on the Free Minds forum with your permission? It would really help me out tremendously. I have a Paypal account where anyone who was interested in donating money for a copy of my documentary to send their donation.

I forgot to add the financial target for this case.
Sister Michelle (Feshari) is in need to raise US$ 750 so as to pay two months rent which is due. Her monthly rent is US$ 425 and she has already paid US$ 100 (leaving US$ 750 still to be paid).
P.S. As of the posting of this thread this morning, I am told by Michelle that a donation of $ 50 has been made (bringing the target down to US$ 700).

Can anyone here explain me pls how PayPal works? Is this the easiest way to send money? without loosing money for transmission?

Sorry to hear about your circumstances sis, but couldn't you sue those who were responsible for your accident? Maybe it was caused as a result of negligance or faulty machinary etc. Any possibility for this then you would have the financial assistance you need. I dont know how it is in Florida but here in UK there are accident specialists on every corner waiting for the oppertunity to represent someone who has tripped over the kerb (sidewalk) and busted their knee cap or something.
Don't become too anxious ALLAH is all aware and full of compassion and mercy insha ALLAH put all your trust in ALLAH and ask HIM swt to help you. There really is power in prayer sis.

paypal works by people registering with them along with their credit/bank card.
this allows them to send money to any other member of paypal for free (with no fee for receiving it either) if you have a personal account only, not a business account.

Thank you for your concern. I cannot sue anyone because it was a freak accident and was my fault.
There just isn't much help here unless you have health insurance. WIthout it, you're basically on your own.

I'm so grateful for all of the kind emails and help I have been getting.As of today, Sunday, I have come closer to reaching my goal.

I am sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident as well as the resulting complications.
I just read this today, and my first thought, as probably others is, how can I know if this is truthful or not. I am sure you must agree that it would be very easy for someone to come in here and prey on the emotions of others to get money. So what does one do when they dont want to miss the oppurtunity to help but are concerned about giving away much needed money due to deception?
say all of the above not to doubt you but to adress something I have been studying for a while now that I wanted to take this oppurtunity to speak about, and that is the concept of ORACLES.
Before anyone rejects this concept, please be advised that Zakariah used an oracle (casting of lots) to see who would care for Mariam. As well, the bible has MANY references to Oracles such as Urim and Thummim (spelling?).
Anyway, I have been dealing with 2 oracles for about 1 year now, the Metu Neter Oracle of ancient Khamit and the Chinese oracle called I Ching.
After doing readings for myself for about a year, I have NEVER seen anything come up that has not been true. Even still I am verifying more, because it is just too amazing that I must keep verifying. But at this point I wanted to out it out there to others who may be interested in this.
To conclude, when I threw the coins for the I ching on giving money to "Feshari", I recieved the following cousel

I do understand that anyone could come in here and make up a story to try and get money, but I do feel a little offended that anyone might think I would try to defraud others.
I do realise though that no one here knows me personally, so I must take that into consideration.
If anyone is concerned, I will provide medical documentation and phone numbers for the community clinic and the hospital where I was treated.Thank you to all who have provided their kind thoughts and prayers and support.

but I do feel a little offended that anyone might think I would try to defraud others.
I hope you did not misinterpret what I said D I was not saying that I thought you were trying to defraud anyone, but the plain fact is that it is very very possible, and very easy for someone to do that. I would expect others to be a little unsure even if Layth or I or anyone else who has been here from the beginning was requesting asistance. Even though we have a history here, the plain fact is we dont know each other beyond this "masjid" so there is an element of blind faith.
But I was in no way calling you a liar or anything like that, for the record D
I think that your response however will help others feel more comfortable being as though you are prepared to PROVE with documentation and numbers.

I wanted to thank all of you who have offered their words of encouragement, blessings, prayers and support to me over the past week. I cannot express how much it has meant to me that I received this wonderful support from others.
I have now enough money to pay my rent so no more donations are needed. I wanted to thank you all for your financial help as well as your prayers and positive words that you have given to me.
