Wow great work Idolfree, very thought provoking article. I'll have to go over it again tomorrow morning if the God Wills. For now I have one question, how do you understand heaven and hell if we're all one consciousness? Will those in heaven realize that one consciousness and those in hell only have separate egos? How can we be judged separately ?Peace

I do not (at least I try not to) use the terms "heaven" and "hell". The reading(quran) uses the terms "garden" and "fire". They are STATES OF BEING, and they are going on RIGHT NOW! D Eternity has already started.
Will those in heaven realize that one consciousness and those in hell only have separate egos? How can we be judged separately ?
We are being judged right now! D Everytime you have to make a choice, and your ego pulls you one way, but your conscious pulls you th eother, that is the "temting of Adam" going on right in front of you(actually within you).

Also, please make sure you read Aymans response where he corrected the idea of "freedom".
My last post was to propose that perhaps it is the LEVEL of freedom that we are dealing with, from minerals, to plants, to animals , then to humans, it seems there is a level of freedom, of which the human has the greates "freedom" and that , I believe, is the TRUST.

If you liked this article, you should read the book "Metu Neter" by Ra Un Nefer Amen. It is about Kemetic Spirituality(ancient Egypt), but not from a caucasion egyptologist, but from an African perspective. It is mindblowing!

concering the discussion on if coran is to be taken literally or only allegorical - couldn't it be both ?
Couldn't the stories related in coran be literally true, but also contain the paradigm which constitutes a kind of ongoing revelation ? This is also why coran is unique and at the same time different to each reader. Sorry if this has already been discussed in this thread - I read only idols first mail - no time.
What do you think ?

Thank you for your kind words. I have not asked for it to be published on any site as I wanted to be sure that it was correct. There were not many responses when I originally posted this article in February this year, since then we have covered some very enlightening topics on the forum and now that his thread has resurfaced, it is my opinion that this article can be understood a little better. In any case, once I update the article to correct the section on "Freedom", you or anyone else is welcome to use the article on any site. I intend to create my own site based on my understandings which will include that article and others.

My position on this is simple, If an event can be proven, then I have sufficient knowledge to pursue that course, but if it is an event that happenned thousands of years ago which cannot and has not been duplicated since, I cannot say I have knowledge of such an event, and therefore I have no knowledge of that, and cannot pursue it based on (1736). This is not to say that these events did not happen, it would be a lie for me to say it did not happen, the same as it would be a lie for me to say it did happen. We just have no knowledge of thatand the God gave us a clear instruction not to pursue that which we have no knowledge of. Regarding the Symbolic lessons, we can verify the truth of those lessons in our everyday lives, so we have sufficient knowledge to follow that path.
