Thank you for the link to Dr. Shabbir Ahmed's paper. My wife and I read it with a lot of laughter as his sense of humor is a wonderful addition to the subject matter of such a depth of concern for me facing the results of an administration that has been exposed as being driven by the very heart of messanic beliefs.
While I think he needs to edit this article a bit more as I saw it was recently edited, he is well on the way to a publication that could indeed rock the masses toward our Quran Alone movement. If I could suggest that he would provide a bit more commentary during the lists of contridictory hadith.
Arnold, I am so glad that God has moved me from the Why Islam forum, back to Free-Minds, where I have met you, and that He has moved you to direct me to the links you have. They have made my single day off in 14 a wonderful souce of information that I will be able to think about during my next 14 days on.
I will check in from time to time in my next round of slavery to see what is going on, but I will have to eagerly wait until my next wonderful day off to give some of the subject matter you have presented to me the attention it certainly deserves.

does it really matters to you and me if jesus returns or not? Is it not enough that he was a prophet, he got a peaceful message and he is not among us any more.
Is it not his message that is important and following his message will benefitt us and not other extra beliefs.
Y do all these religious people have to be involved in gullible matters? whether they r christains, muslims or jews.
was all those messengers not for to make human life peacefull.What i need to know is that what difference wud it make if we find out that JEsus will return or not.

The only discussion was if it can be based on the Quran if Jesus would return or not, and this is not true. Only from the hadith people can get this. That was the discussion. And yes, the Quran mentiones also Jesus's dead and getting children, getting grey hair, and oh yeah, that he died before Muhammed......

I asked the question at the beggining of the thread mainly because I am confused about the issue.
I once was a bible believing Christian, that bought into the ideas of Jesus Return from the traditions of the Christian Church.
It is a very important issue to Christians, almost as important as the idea of the Human sacrifice for the atonement of sins.
The evolutionary process that I went thru that finally culminated in becoming a revert, was long and very painful.
After Arnold introduced me to Akbarally Meherally, i was in for more pain in discovering the truth that Jesus in NOT coming back, and very probably died in France, after having a daughter.
The sword of the truth cuts both ways, it free's us from the evil associated with believing lies, but cuts deeply into my heart where I thought I knew the truth about issues like Jesus' return.
So I hope that answers your question, why it is such an important issue. I have a lot more to say about this but I like short posts.

Do we have to "salute" prophet Muhammad? Does this have basis in AQ? -

I can add that even in the Bible (not sure if its in any of those links), it refutes that Jesus died at all, its all conjecture. From what I have gathered from Naiks talks, Jews dont go an oil a dead person. Jesus went in disguise to hide from Roman soldiers in fear of his life and dressed as a gardener. All the crucifixtion details are second hand accounts, which is why they all thought he was dead. Mary on the other hand knew that he was alive, since she would visit his tomb.

Hi, that was me some time ago, I used that id. A lot has happened since then. It is a intriquing subject. It is facinating to read how I felt back then. These days it doesn't really matter as much to me, I guess i got over it, but I am sure that other Christians that are exploring Islam may be feeling some of the same feelings that I did back then...
What I think finally did it for me was the logic that God could never support human sacrifice as a payment for sin. I think it was quite a relief when I finally came to understand this. I like what Kalifa says about the story of Abraham that a lot of Christian theologians like to use as a allegory. God was not the author of the dream, and saved Abraham from himself with the Ram...

I would like to know what the bible has to say about jesus' return. was it added in by men? or is something that has little basis in that book as well?

The only thing that is returning is the SUN OF GOD and not
SON OF GOD. When I say SUN OF GOD it means the twin
brother or binary star a brown dwarf aka Nibiru/Destroyer/
Red Dragon/Winged Serpent...names given by the ancients.
By the way Trinitarian beliefs are pagan and therefore
the second coming which is the core belief of Trinitarian
Christianity is actually a celestial phenomenon but masked
by Jesus second coming.
Just like Roman Catholicism is Babylonian paganism but hidden
behind the veil of Christianity.
Even the Quran says that Jesus will denounce his followers
as what they do and preach was never taught by him.
He only told them what his Lord instructed.
Therefore from this we see that the final assembly will not

Wow he died in France ... I prefer the lies about him going to India.

I always heard it was the Magdalene who was buried in France.
But... there are many ways in which a person could return in a future generation.
And ...one of the biggest stumbling blocks within the church, I think, is to automatically isolate "Christ" with "Jesus"
...as if they were the same, inseparable thing.Jesus ..or Isa would refer to a person, a physical body, while Christ is more of a spiritual concept.
(Body of Christ and so forth.)
