    Peace,

The only discussion was if it can be based on the Quran if Jesus would return or not, and this is not true. Only from the hadith people can get this. That was the discussion. And yes, the Quran mentiones also Jesus's dead and getting children, getting grey hair, and oh yeah, that he died before Muhammed......

      Peace be upon your hearts

I asked the question at the beggining of the thread mainly because I am confused about the issue.

I once was a bible believing Christian, that bought into the ideas of Jesus Return from the traditions of the Christian Church.

It is a very important issue to Christians, almost as important as the idea of the Human sacrifice for the atonement of sins.

The evolutionary process that I went thru that finally culminated in becoming a revert, was long and very painful.

After Arnold introduced me to Akbarally Meherally, i was in for more pain in discovering the truth that Jesus in NOT coming back, and very probably died in France, after having a daughter.

The sword of the truth cuts both ways, it free's us from the evil associated with believing lies, but cuts deeply into my heart where I thought I knew the truth about issues like Jesus' return.

So I hope that answers your question, why it is such an important issue. I have a lot more to say about this but I like short posts.

      Peace

        .

        Isa was raised!
He was neither crucified, nor killed.

        But the one likened to Isa was crucified and killed;
In the Book his name was not mentioned;-
But the bible gives his name as JESUS CHRIST, the sin of 3 gods.

So the Jesus never to return.

          Peace,

I can also really recommend his translation avaible on his site, just go to www.ourbeacon.com and to the books section were you can download or read them for free. God bless you and your wife, and yes indeed may God guides us all more.
If there is anything, just ask......

          Peace...

          Salamun Alaykum,

From Dr. Shabir Ahmed's Translation (page 11) The use of (S) after the name of prophet Muhammad should be read as
          ?Our salutes to him?.
Do we have to "salute" prophet Muhammad? Does this have basis in AQ?

No. Dead men need no salutes.

We read that Rashad Kalifa tells us that Jesus will not return, that the Messenger of the Covenant appearance is the event we have been waiting for, not Jesus return...

It is funny, I was the one that started this thread some time ago.....

Arnold Yasin has already done a great job, as well as the authors of those pages. I can add that even in the Bible (not sure if its in any of those links), it refutes that Jesus died at all, its all conjecture. From what I have gathered from Naiks talks, Jews dont go an oil a dead person. Jesus went in disguise to hide from Roman soldiers in fear of his life and dressed as a gardener. All the crucifixtion details are second hand accounts, which is why they all thought he was dead. Mary on the other hand knew that he was alive, since she would visit his tomb.

Hi, that was me some time ago, I used that id. A lot has happened since then. It is a intriquing subject. It is facinating to read how I felt back then. These days it doesn't really matter as much to me, I guess i got over it, but I am sure that other Christians that are exploring Islam may be feeling some of the same feelings that I did back then...

What I think finally did it for me was the logic that God could never support human sacrifice as a payment for sin. I think it was quite a relief when I finally came to understand this. I like what Kalifa says about the story of Abraham that a lot of Christian theologians like to use as a allegory. God was not the author of the dream, and saved Abraham from himself with the Ram...

I would like to know what the bible has to say about jesus' return. was it added in by men? or is something that has little basis in that book as well?

The only thing that is returning is the SUN OF GOD and not
SON OF GOD. When I say SUN OF GOD it means the twin
brother or binary star a brown dwarf aka Nibiru/Destroyer/
Red Dragon/Winged Serpent...names given by the ancients.
By the way Trinitarian beliefs are pagan and therefore
the second coming which is the core belief of Trinitarian
Christianity is actually a celestial phenomenon but masked
                          by Jesus second coming.
Just like Roman Catholicism is Babylonian paganism but hidden
                          behind the veil of Christianity.
Even the Quran says that Jesus will denounce his followers
as what they do and preach was never taught by him.
He only told them what his Lord instructed.
Therefore from this we see that the final assembly will not
be on earth but during the ressurection where all that died
in ignorance of believing in a Trinitarian Babylonian belief
system will be exposed and not only to a handful of people.

3185 (Asad) Every human being is bound to taste death but only on the Day of Resurrection will you be requited in full - whereupon he that shall be drawn away from the fire and brought into paradise will indeed have gained a triumph for the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-delusion.

I always heard it was the Magdalene who was buried in France.

But... there are many ways in which a person could return in a future generation.
And ...one of the biggest stumbling blocks within the church, I think, is to automatically isolate "Christ" with "Jesus"
...as if they were the same, inseparable thing.

Jesus ..or Isa would refer to a person, a physical body, while Christ is more of a spiritual concept.
(Body of Christ and so forth.)

                                    God said, ?O Jesus!
I will cause you to die of natural causes
I will exalt you in My Sight <- God raised him in honor
and will clear you of the slander of the disbelievers <- through the Qur'an
And I will cause those who truly follow you to dominate those who reject
until the Day of Resurrection <- no more savior
Eventually, all of you will return to Me
Then I will judge among you
about that wherein you used to differ <- Allah will judge the matter, not Jesus
                                    (355)

And for claiming, ?We killed the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, God?s Messenger.?
                                    They never killed him
and never crucified him <- Jesus was never nailed to the cross
But it appeared so to them
and the matter remained dubious to them
Those who hold conflicting views on this issue are but confused
                                    They have no real knowledge
and they are following mere conjecture
Most certainly, they never killed him
Nay, God exalted him in His Sight
                                    God is Almighty, Wise.
Everyone among the People of the Book must believe before dying
                                    in the truth just stated
Jesus will be a witness against them on the Day of Resurrection.

                                    On the Resurrection Day
God will say O Jesus, son of Mary!
                                    Did you say to mankind
?Worship me and my mother as gods besides God??
                                    He will respond
                                    ?Be You Glorified!
I could never say what was not my right.
If I said such a thing
                                    You would certainly know it
You know what is in my mind
and I do not know what is in Your mind
You are the Knower of what is beyond human perception.?
?Never did I say to them except what You commanded me to say
?Worship and obey God my Lord and your Lord.?

I was a witness to them as long as I lived AMONG them <- Who? Refer above, "before dying"
After You caused me to die <- Jesus is dead, before Muhammad
You were the Watcher over them <- Who?
and You are Witness over all things and events.

Jesus will not return, as per Quran.

                                          Salaam,

The way God formulates it in Quran it is quite improbable that Jesus would return to life again. God, according to Quran, asks Jesus what the response to him was and Jesus replies that he has no knowledge of this. It would be an awkward question in case he would return, as Jesus would be updated about all years between his death and return since he can study human history if he hypothetically becomes resurrected and the question by God could be considered dumb.

So it is easy to conclude that Jesus is not returning unless Quran is misinterpreted, but it seems like so simple language of those verses to be the case.

Nothing seems to support the idea that Jesus would ever return in Quran. I think the idea originates from the Bible.

                                          God bless you
